“Valerie is fantastic! She will take excellent care of your pet. Valerie has cared for our Mollie on multiple occasions and it is always great. Val is responsive, responsible and caring. It is evident that her love for dogs is genuine. Mollie is always so happy to see Valerie and was so content while we are away. Valerie makes sure that Mollie gets her walks and exercise in and Val is always good at playing with her and keeping her entertained. Mollie is a senior dog and in need of daily medication which was no problem for Valerie to manage - a huge bonus for us! We could really enjoy ourselves as we knew she was in good hands. Your pet will be safe and happy in Valerie's care.”
2. Quinlan C.
“I would trust Quinlan with caring for my dogs any day! I have two rescue dogs with individual anxieties and needs, and Quinlan is the only male who they have ever trusted immediately. His calming presence and joyful energy are infectious, even to a nervous pet, and I would 100% recommend him as a caregiver for other pups.”
3. Benjamin D.
“Ben has been a wonderful caregiver to both dogs and cats for many years. Animals gravitate to him - they seem to know how much he loves and understands them. And while he is always gentle and kind with the animals in his care, he knows how important it is to set rules and boundaries for their behavior in order to keep them safe. Ben will do an excellent job for anyone needing assistance with the care of their pet.”
4. Victoria T.

“Rachael is the best and we feel very lucky to have found her! She has walked our fur baby 3 times now and will be our go to moving forward. Communication, walk details and photos are spot on!! 5 stars. Highly recommend!”
9. Abi D.
“Abi was wonderful. They followed everything to a T and were prompt, professional, kind, and super responsive. They updated me after each walk with photos and a rover card. I would absolutely book with them again. Very grateful to have found them and rather last minute too over the holidays due to my sitter pulling a muscle and not being able to exercise Cleo himself. Thank you, Abi!”

About: Hello, humans! The puppy love of my life, Rhino, crossed the rainbow bridge on March 1, 2023. I decided to create a Rover account to help some pups get outside while my heart heals. I trained Rhino myself, and everyone said he was the best boy. He was a big guy too (103 lbs. at his largest) and had some special needs as he got older (mobility issues that required a harness and some lifting, allergy shots and medications, etc.). I also have experience dog sitting for clients, friends, and family. And I hope to meet your pup(s) soon! I currently work 9ish to 5ish, mostly from home. I’d prefer to take walks during lunch or after work hours, or potentially work while hanging out with your pup! My pup was a pittie, so I take safety, trust, and environment very seriously because so many people make generalizations about the breed I love most. I am diligent about leash laws, watching for off-leash animals, and doing my best to set a pup up for success.
13. Mariah G.
“Mariah's connection with pets is immediately evident. Her genuine love and care for our family dog - and those of others - go beyond what I've seen from anyone else. She is an extremely responsible caretaker and pet sitter, tending to all of the pet's needs and more. She follows instructions to the "T" and spends time talking to and comforting them before and after all the specified job requirements. In fact, Mariah doesn't treat her caretaking responsibilities as a job but as a joyful opportunity. In addition, taking long walks with dogs is one of her favorite activities. I enthusiastically recommend Mariah for this position!”
14. Maddie M.
“Maddie is very attentive to our dog's needs and has a very natural connection to animals.”

I’ve house sat for three cats before, helped care for a few month old puppy, and also enjoy walking dogs :) I am attentive, responsible, and caring. Hope to be of service to you and your crew of furry friends! I have an open schedule at the moment after traveling abroad and transitioning back to the US. Weekends and weekdays are available and I look forward to connecting :) I am interested in dog walking along with dog and cat sitting but not at my home. About: I grew up with a dog since I was 5 years old! As I was growing up, I helped to take care of my Labradoodle, Savannah, and also helped to watch dogs in my neighborhood if families were gone for an extended period! During Covid I helped raise a black lab puppy from 8 weeks on with my Brother in Law! (potty training in the middle of the night, taking care of the puppy and also the older adult black lab simultaneously). My previous roommates in Boston always had dogs and since moving to Somerville , I miss having them around! I would the opportunity to watch any dogs in the area, especially with the flexibility of working from home! I work from home and also enjoy the walks I do already during my lunch time! I have a pretty flexible schedule so I am open to walking whenever and how many times that are desired! I have a fenced in yard which is huge! With working from home as well, I am able to make sure that the dog is cared for properly and given lots of attention (scratches and belly rubs!) I also live right next to a walking path if any of your dogs enjoy long walks - my favorite is letting them sniff as long as they want!
20. Andrew A.
“Andrew stayed in our house for over a week and took care of our fish and cocker spaniel while my wife and I went on vacation with our daughter. We knew Andrew from our neighborhood, knew his brother very well, and were thrilled with using him. The house, the kitchen, the bedroom where he slept, the bathroom and everything was in great shape when we came back home. He and our dog ended up becoming good friends while they were together, and we would use Andrew again without a doubt.”
