When I pet sit, safety is my number one priority. I treat my pets and clients' pets as if they were my own children. When walking dogs, I always use a leash. I use harnesses for my dogs as well. If the client needs me to put a pet in its crate, I can do so. I have a seat belt for that can be attached to a harness during car rides.

I would like to know a dog's temperament, energy levels, nutritional needs, and medications before sitting him or her. I love all breeds, but I especially adore large and giant breeds, such as Bernese Mountain Dogs and St. Bernards. I love Cocker Spaniels and terriers as well. I am highly knowledgeable about Cocker Spaniels, Wire Fox Terriers, and Airedale Terriers, since I have owned them.
A typical day
I will go on walks in subdivisions or parks. I can take pets on rides. I can take them to pet-friendly places like PetSmart, Tractor Supply Store, etc. I can play with pets' toys.

Pet care experience
Since I am multilingual, I can communicate with a variety of clients. I speak English, Spanish, German, and French. I love all breeds and sizes of dogs. I have owned dogs my entire life. In fact, I am a lifelong Cocker Spaniel owner. My first dog, April, was in the family before I was even born. Besides Cocker Spaniels, I have owned two Wire Fox Terriers and an Airedale Terrier. I have also owned cats, and I currently have an adorable tuxedo cat! I have volunteered at animal shelters in Franklin, Tennessee, and Muncie, Indiana. I have experience with catsitting, dogsitting, and housesitting. I can keep pets entertained by taking them to parks, pet-friendly stores (PetSmart, Home Depot, etc.) and rides. I could even take your dog to Starbucks and get them a pup cup!
