12. John F.
“John was super communicative, prompt, and attentive - he walked Albie three times this week, brought him to his favorite park, and sent plenty of photos showing a happy pup. He also let me know that Albie was licking a particular part of his leg so I could make sure to look into that later, which I appreciated. Will definitely ask him to walk Albie again!”
13. Natalie B.
“Natalie cared for my two dogs while our family was away. She did a wonderful job and kept me updated on how they were doing. She is dependable, caring and great with dogs. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dog caregiver.”
14. Julie C.
“Julie took my dog, Oscar, in while my family and I were on vacation. She was attentive to all of his needs, and even sent pictures and videos of her and Oscar playing. Our toddler is extremely attached to our dog, so this really helped him through the trip. She even had Oscar say “hi” to him! When we went to pick up Oscar, he was happy to see us, but sad to go! Now when we travel we always check to see if Julie is in town! Thank you Jules:)”
15. Anthony R.
“Tony has been taking care of my dog, Dunkin, since he was a puppy, and for the past two years, he's been fantastic. Dunkin absolutely loves Tony—whenever Tony comes by, Dunkin gets excited and can’t wait to see him. It's clear that Tony has a great way with dogs, and Dunkin’s always thrilled to spend time with him. Tony is reliable and always on time, whether it’s for a walk or a longer stay. He also sends quick updates with photos, which I really appreciate. Dunkin always comes back happy, well-exercised, and content after being with Tony. If you’re looking for someone who is dependable, caring, and someone your dog will love, I highly recommend Tony.”

About: I have lived with cats and dogs of all ages since I was a kid. I grew up with high energy hunting dogs like Pointers and Brittanys in my own household as well as sitting for mixes, Doodles, and Labradors in my neighborhood. I unfortunately don't have a dog of my own but am hoping to find one when I am under a different landlord and am in a larger apartment. Currently I live with my cat Quiche Lorraine. I grew up outside of Scranton, PA and moved to New England for work a couple years ago. I work in quality assurance although I have a B.S. in Animal Science from the University of Vermont (and minors in wildlife biology and zoology). During and after undergrad I had the privilege of working with larger farm species, companion animals, as well wrangling the occasional opossum. It was an interesting series of events that got me into QC/QA with no small influence from the wacky COVID job market! I live in Lower Allston and work during the day in Jamaica Plain. I generally work from 8am to 4pm. I'm happy to drop in before and after work, depending on schedule and workload I may be able to do a quick check-in during the day. When I'm caring for a pet, I generally check that their space is clean and safe before anything else is done. Once I know they are well I typically set up for feeding and doing typical pet chores (scooping poop, topping off food and water, cleaning up any mess they may have made). After everything is tidy and you pet is ready and willing, I like to get them moving and engaged. Sometimes (especially kitties) they can be less active but I like trying to find things they're attracted to - sometimes you just have to find what motivates them. If they're not feeling it I generally don't force the issue, I let them do their own thing. I feel that respecting an animals space is so important for building trust so if a pet isn't interested in play or even getting rubs I give them their space and just hang out with them. Ultimately I like to leave things as clean and tidy as I found them, it makes things safer and easier for your pet and you when you get back to them!
17. Jen P.
“Jen has been my go-to person for my dog Murphy whenever I am out of town or need someone to take him on a walk. She is very attentive, and I rest assured on days she takes care of him. I got to know Jen while living in the same building, but I still reach out to her even after I moved out!”
18. Lindsey K.
“I’m happy to recommend Lindsey as a dog sitter. She took care of my dog, Tommy, for a while, and she was fantastic. She was always so loving and kind with my dog, treating him as if he were her own. When he started having health issues, she was incredibly patient and attentive. She made sure he was comfortable, gave him his meds, and never hesitated to go the extra mile for him. Even with the health challenges, Lindsey kept my dog active and happy. She would play with him, take him on walks, and always made sure he got plenty of attention. It was clear that he loved spending time with her. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to take care of their pets.”
19. Karen K.
“Karen is an incredibly loving and caring individual. She is responsible and detail oriented. She has taken care of my dog multiple times and would highly recommend her.”
20. Alyssa L.
“Alyssa was great! She was gracious at my emergency booking request and my pup was super happy & tired.”
