He was in constant communication with me and my family around her care, went out of his way to ensure she had three walks and plenty of play time each day and made sure her scheduled walks, medication, and feeding times remained structured for the 2.5 weeks I was traveling. Izzy is a very loving dog but does require a confident handler with advanced knowledge given her working dog temperament and Marcus adapted to her needs seamlessly. Would recommend and rebook without hesitation (in fact we already have) and was grateful to have him for our extended sit. It allowed me to travel with sustained peace of mind and I returned home to a VERY happy and pampered dog who seemed less excited by my return than she was disappointed by Marcus’ departure!”

About: I've grown up with dogs of all kinds and ages (my childhood dog- the most precious shapendoes- passed recently at age 15). I'm a graduate student with a flexible schedule, and could arrange to spend time with your dog during regular work days! Please reach out with any questions! Warmly, Alex I spend most of my time reading, writing, and studying, which all can (and should!) be done in the presence of a dog! Most of my work is remote! I’ve taken care of dogs with a variety of different needs- including an elderly fellow who needed to be carried up stairs, a hearing-impaired friend who needed visual cues, and a small sir who needed extra supervision around household and neighborhood hazards.

About: I grown up in a household that has always had dogs. Family, friends, and neighbors have relied on me to take care of their pets since I was 12. I miss taking care of my parents dog, so I would love to take care of yours! I am active so I would love to take your pet on walks or play in the park. I have a fenced in yard and near plenty of parks, and am very aware of my surroundings inside and outside. I work remotely Wednesday through Friday and can schedule walks or sittings around my job. I am also available weekends at any time if day. Im Amanda, lover of all pets young and old, big and small. We can do walks, hikes, even to a play day at the park. I have a pet friendly apartment and a yard. Any specific requests for them? Let me know! I allow them on my bed and couch, unless you prefer them not to. I always keep the water bowl full and pets happy and healthy.
