“We found Jalina on Rover, and needed both a housesitter (water plants, take in mail, etc.) as well as taking care of our pup, Ceci who is used to having some work from home and gets anxious in new spaces. Jalina was exceptional in the lead up to the stay; after a 30min video call to get to know each other and review the space (and the pup), we sent over a reference document in advance with specifics, which she reviewed promptly (and had questions on). We had an hour-long visit a few days in advance, split between going for a walk and going over the fiddly house items, which was great. On the day of departure, she arrived promptly, got settled in, and we went to the airport. We got daily updates on the dog, and Ceci seemed to have a lovely time with her, in her own space and her own routine; Jalina made sure she was very well cared for! Due to a delayed flight, we didn’t have any crossover of us getting back and her leaving, but we coordinated via messaging (super prompt) and we came back to our space just as we left it. Based on this stay with us, we’d recommend Jalina to anyone!”

About: I'm relatively new to dog care, although I've been around them my entire life. At the moment I'm often tapped to walk, check in on, or stay with my girlfriends lab/hound mix who's 10 years old but thinks he's a puppy. What's important to me is that your dog is safe and happy and I pride myself on being communicative (before, during, and after) and paying extra attention to cleanliness. I work full time not far from where I live so nights or weekends are better for me. That being said, my schedule can be flexible and I can make things work during the day if needed! I am a neat freak by nature and will be uber respective of your home/property, making sure to extra clean up after your pet and my presence (of which there should be no trail!). Safety is the number one priority because when you're away you want to be sure your pet is in good hands.

I’m careful to plan and steer walks to keep your best friend safe and happy—whether that means a fun, social walk for a dog who loves meeting others, or giving plenty of space to people and dogs for a pup who’s more cautious. I’ll follow your instructions closely, be careful with leashes and doors, and keep you updated during each visit.

About: I’ve found my love for taking care of pets since I was 4 years old. From caring for my first pet as a child to being an aunt to my best friends cat in PA school, I am highly trusted to provide high quality care and unconditional love for any pet in my presence. My schedule is flexible! I’m a physician assistant, so my weeks are a mix of clinic and administrative work. Depending on my schedule, I’m able to stop by before work, during lunch, or after work. I’m also happy to do stay-ins when needed! My weekends tend to be especially flexible as well, and I’m always happy to work with your schedule and accommodate your pets’ needs as much as possible :) My current living space is not equipped to offer care at my home, but I will care for any breed/size/age dog in a client’s home. I am adaptable and willing to do any tasks needed to ensure the pet feels loved, happy, and comfortable.
