“Rebecca was very friendly and communicative. She scheduled a meet and greet to introduce our dog to her space and asked insightful questions. She has great experience caring for larger dogs, and our dog came home relaxed and happy.”

“Elizabeth and Rodrigo genuinely love Fitzgerald. Their home is loving and they are kind, communicative, and considerate dog lovers. We love visiting them cause Fitzgerald always wags his tail extra hard during drop offs, and comes home happy as can be. Anyone looking for a loving pair to watch their pup would be lucky to have them say yes!”

“Andrew and Ellen were great and very responsive throughout. Piper took a looong time to settle as was missing his hoomum but eventually settled down and had a fun time playing with sweet Mango too 🥰”

“She is an amazing sitter! She gave frequent updates throughout the day, and really appreciated that she went above and beyond by sending a lot of pictures. Also, I really appreciate her flexibility. If you’re in Boston, highly recommend her as your pet sitter. Go Greta (and Juniper)! 🫶✨”

“Maya always has a great time at Lynne’s! Lynne is great communicator and always lets us know about any other dogs that will be in her care while Maya is there. We look forward to booking with Lynne again in the future!”

“Laura was wonderful with our dog, Charlie. She was very communicative, prompt and flexible, and she sent us many great photos. We will definitely book with her again.”

About: I love using Rover to find care for my own doggos :) On my own, I have raised my two senior pitbulls, Brave and Skylar. I adopted them both as senior pitbull rescues and these dogs are my whole life. These days it’s just me and Skylar (11 years old little lovebug) as Brave passed a few years ago. Skylar is the sweetest big sister doggo :) my furry little sausage. I’m a working academic and artist so I’m very flexible since I mainly work from home. I would love to take care of your pet :) I studied at Columbia for undergrad then both Cambridge and Harvard for graduate school so I’ve been living in the Boston area for 4 years now :) My pets are my whole life, so I would care and treat yours as though my own :) Please let me know all the details of your pet.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life, including two Labrador Retrievers named Maverick and Goose, and a Beagle that I cared for over 10 years, so I’m very comfortable with daily routines, exercise, and understanding different personalities. I’ve also done several overnight house-sitting and dog care jobs, working with a wide range of breeds, from small dogs like pugs to larger, high-energy dogs like huskies. I’ve always had a genuine love for animals and caring for them. The first animal I really fell in love with was a manatee when I was about 5 years old living in Florida, and that kind of stuck with me. My time as a kid was spent at the beach boogie boarding out into the ocean hoping a dolphin would find me and become my friend. Growing up, I loved going to the aquarium and the zoo to learn about different animals, and I’ve always been especially drawn to red pandas and stingrays. That curiosity and appreciation carries over into how I care for pets—I really enjoy getting to know each animal’s personality and making sure they feel safe and happy. In addition, I have a lot of hands-on caregiving experience through taking care of my brother who has special needs, as well as working with special needs youth. That’s taught me to be patient, attentive, and very in tune with individual needs, which I bring into how I care for animals as well. Pet care honestly fits into my routine really naturally because it’s something I genuinely enjoy and look forward to. I have a part-time job in the mornings and some evenings, so I have a lot of flexibility during the day to spend quality time with dogs—whether that’s going on long walks, stopping by for visits, or just hanging out and keeping them company. I grew up with dogs and took care of my Beagle for 10 years, so I’m very used to building my day around their needs. It doesn’t feel like a task to me—it’s something I love doing. Being around dogs, getting outside, and making sure they’re happy and cared for is something I naturally make time for every day. I focus on making pets feel comfortable, safe, and at ease by sticking closely to their normal routine. I know how important consistency is, so I follow feeding schedules, walk times, and any specific instructions carefully. When I’m in a client’s home, I’m very respectful of their space and make sure their dog is always supervised and within my sight. I pay attention to their behavior and energy so I can respond to what they need, whether that’s a long walk, playtime, or just relaxing together so they don’t feel alone. If I’m caring for a pet in my own home, I create a calm, safe environment where they get plenty of attention, exercise, and downtime. I really just try to treat every dog like my own and make sure they feel happy and cared for the whole time.
“Emma took such great care of Arya and she was so happy with her stay! Emma sent updates and pictures to me of my baby girl and kept me updated with any changes. I would definitely recommend her!”

“Nate is a wonder with my pups and super accommodating to me. This was my first time using rover and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! He sent pictures, and bonded with both of my dogs who are typically skeptical of new people. They felt right at home with Nate and I couldn’t appreciate it more.”

“This is Scout's second time at Jacqueline's for doggy daycare. She and Harley do an amazing job looking after Scout. Highly recommend her, she treats your dog as if it were her own.”

About: ***NOTICE FOR NEW & REPEAT CLIENTS*** I will be abroad in Japan for research Sept 2026-August 2027, after which I’ll return to Boston and resume pet services. You’ll find these months blocked off on my calendar. Thank you for your support and patience. I look forward to coming back and seeing the fur babies!!! *** I’ve had dogs in the family since I was a child, and they’ve been all sizes, temperaments and with different needs. I’ve worked with multiple R+ and balanced trainers in the Boston area and actively use training techniques throughout the day to help dogs who are selective-reactive, fearful, shy and/or have separation anxiety. I’m happy to incorporate any trainings you’re working on with your pups while they’re in my care***I do not believe pet services should be financially inaccessible. If you are struggling financially and need assistance, please reach out. I am a graduate student, and spend no more than 3 hours teaching/working on campus, typically in the afternoon, but my office is only 10 minute walk away so I’m rarely gone for long. For pets who would do best with full time WFH, my schedule is flexible. The rest of the time I spend either at home or outdoors at parks or on hikes. My life truly revolves around dogs. Stay at home movie nights with lots of treats or hangouts at the dog parks—you name it! I now have a car, so my serviced area radius has increased for walking and checkin services! I do not offer boarding/stay services in the client’s home.
“Susan took great care of Bean! She was flexible with finding a time to meet before the stay and sent many updates throughout the stay. She was very on top of Bean's special kibble/treats and Bean came home happy!”

“Wonderful and loving couple that clearly loves dogs. Did a meet and greet and sought out guidance on care. I look forward to them watching her again! My pup loved being there, and I had complete trust in them!”

Cindy was amazing with our dog Gia today. This was our first time with her, and our dog was already comfortable with her. Cindy was extremely communicative, professional, and sent many progress photos through the day. She was so loving and caring with our puppy, we will definitely be using her help again. Highly recommend her!

Angelena was so kind, communicative, and took such wonderful care of our dog. It was clear that our dog was happy, comfortable, and had the best time while we were away. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing she was in such great hands. We would absolutely book with Angelena again!

Maria and McAben are lovely people who accepted our last-minute request to care for our pup while we were at a Red Sox game. Our pup has separation anxiety issues and Maria snuggled and cuddled her until she calmed down and was very attentive in keeping me updated and sending photos. Very caring soul!

Ejin was great! Even though she’ll be moving soon, she was kind enough to help us while we search for a long-term daycare sitter. She sent us photos throughout Mochi’s stay, and it looked like Mochi was able to relax and get some good rest at her place. Mochi was very calm and content when she returned home. We really appreciated Ejin’s care and communication.
