About: A lot of my experience comes from caring for my girlfriend's two dogs, who are basically my two best friends—a Japanese Chin and a Lhasa-Poo. Whenever her parents are out of town, I'm usually the one taking care of them. We've even watched them for weeks at a time while their family was traveling, so I'm comfortable with everything from feeding and walks to playtime, keeping them on their routine, and making sure they get plenty of attention. I've also known our Lhasa-Poo since she was a puppy. When she first came home, my girlfriend and I spent that entire first week with her, helping her adjust to a new environment, keeping her company at night, and making sure she felt safe and comfortable. More than anything, I'm just a huge dog lover. Whenever I go back home to India, I spend a lot of my time hanging out with the neighborhood stray dogs. They've become part of my visits home. I know every dog is different, and my goal is always to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you're away. I'll care for your dog the same way I care for the dogs in my own life: with lots of attention, affection, and plenty of updates so you know they're doing well. I work from home, so I'm around throughout the day and have a very flexible schedule. That means I can take dogs out for regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and make sure they're never left alone for long. I love staying active, so I'm always happy to fit in extra walks or outdoor time if your pup enjoys it. I also welcome boarding on most weekends, unless I'm out of town, which isn't very often. My goal is to make sure your dog feels comfortable, gets plenty of attention, and sticks to their normal routine while you're away. I live in a very dog-friendly apartment, and I'm very used to sharing my space with dogs. I help care for my girlfriend's two pups regularly, so having dogs around the house is something I'm completely comfortable with. In my home, dogs are welcome to roam freely and make themselves at home—they're welcome on the couch and in any room unless you have different rules you'd like me to follow. I know every dog has their own routine, so I'm happy to stick to whatever they're used to, whether that's crate training, scheduled feeding times, or specific walking routines. About: I love spending time with and taking care of my friends’ pets whenever possible! I’ve been trusted to cat sit (drop ins with Benji or Tiki for a couple of days at a time) and dog sit (cared for little Teddy at my apartment for two weeks while his parents were away) for my friend’s furry little ones on several occasions. While I love having fun with the animals in my care, I will always prioritize their safety when I am with them. In addition to loving my friends’ pets, I spent a year nannying for families with dogs whose care I was entrusted with. I looked after (picked up from day care, walked, and fed) two golden retrievers (Kody and Bella) as well as 8 month old Vizla puppy, Yofi! Spending time with them was the highlight of my days and I can’t wait to have a pup in my own home. I’m a student and available early mornings, evenings, and weekends! I also have time during the day to drop in on your pet or take them out for a walk! I’m a student full-time but I have some time before, between, and after classes every day! My weekends are pretty free, they just require a little bit of extra planning to make adequate time for your pet. I will always follow your rules/routines while your pet is in my care, whether it is in my own home or at yours. I will always treat your pet the way I would want mine to be treated. I will also communicate as frequently/infrequently as you’d like, I make it a habit to keep pet owners up to date with our activities!

I'm happy to clean litter boxes per directions and would always put things (food, leashes, toys, etc..) back in their place as directed. if you were to be out of town and asked me to retrieve mail, monitor lights and other utilities I would do that to the best of my abilities as well. As someone who has had Rover sitters come visit my cat Pepper I appreciate that extra effort that many of them have put forth. I would also be happy to communicate all visits through the app or phones with pictures and quick updates.
