We love dogs and have a lot of experience with them from helping socialize dogs at a doggy daycare to fostering and now caring for our own two dogs, Mocha and Orbit. We have lots of experience with nervous and anxious dogs as well as dogs that just need to burn some energy. We’ve used Rover for our own dogs too, so we know what it’s like to trust someone else with your pup. We really try to provide the kind of care, communication, and peace of mind we’d want for Mocha and Orbit. Kavita works from home full-time and Saunak has a flexible schedule, so we’re able to give our guests plenty of attention throughout the day. Mocha and Orbit also love having new friends visit, but we have the space to separate dogs when needed. We’re excited to get to know your dog and their routine so we can make their stay as comfortable, fun, and home-like as possible! I work from home full-time and have a flexible schedule. This means I can accommodate most schedules and make time for frequent walks, potty breaks, and playtime throughout the day! We live in a residential area with a fenced in yard, so your pup can have frequent outside trips. I also work from home full-time, so your dog is never left unattended. About: I've grown up around animals my whole life and have always loved taking care of them. I've had multiple dogs at a time in my family, both big and small, so I'm very comfortable with different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I've been taking dogs on walks, playing with them, feeding them, and helping take care of them for as long as I can remember. I've also spent a lot of time caring for cats, including very small kittens, so I'm comfortable with cats as well. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and getting to know them. I Work from home Part time so your pet will not be home alone for long stretches of time. He will join us and our dog Muesli in our home, and get lots of attention. My dog and I go on two 45 minute walks a day as well as a short walk to the grass before bed time (of course we can talk about your dog's regular walking schedule as well). We don't have a private yard, so dogs are always kept on a leash when we're outside unless we're inside a completely enclosed dog park. I’m also careful about making sure doors and gates are secure and keeping an eye on dogs around things they could get into or eat. I’m happy to follow any instructions for your pet's routine, food, medications, and any specific things they need.

About: Growing up in TX and visiting family in India, I've spent a lot of time with animal friends - dogs, cats, goats, cows, chickens, and sometimes horses and monkeys(!). I've been pet sitting on and off for most of my life. I'm EMT-certified (for humans) and just love creatures and critters of all shapes and sizes. I work part-time and live in Somerville (seasonal assistant coach for the Harvard Women’s Varsity Volleyball team until early December playoffs) and we usually have practices from 4-6pm and run film a few times a week during the day. Some weekends we’re traveling for away games. I’m happy to work out best times to drop by! My sublease doesn’t allow pets, and I don’t love staying in someone’s home overnight when they’re not there for liability and safety reasons, but if you’re in dire straits we can definitely talk about it! I love going on walks and have a ton of energy, so I often feel like the doggos are taking me for a walk. Ha! We can talk about how much exercise they need, and where you prefer I walk them!!

About: I am a recent graduate of Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. My family is split between the US and Guatemala. In the last couple of years, I have discovered that I really enjoy working with animals. We have many dogs in Guatemala, some of whom we have rescued. I also have a very special cat named Butter. My animal-related work experience includes working as a Daycare Attendant at Create Escape in Belmont and as a Tub Attendant at Laundromutt in Cambridge, as well as at BYOD in Boston. In both positions, I handled animals and looked after their well-being and safety. I have experience taking care of dogs in groups and dogs with different personalities and physical needs. For example, one of our dogs in Guatemala has partial paralysis of his body. I am also an artist and love doing portraits of dogs emphasizing their different personalities. I am available anytime during the week as well as holidays, morning and evening hours. I am available on short notice. I can also do overnight stays. I am observant and look out for behavior and mood changes. I make sure that the environment is safe for the animal. Getting to know an animal is very important to me because then I can better ensure their well-being. Communication with the pet owner is very important to me; understanding what special needs the animal has.

About: I have tried to live life around as many animals as possible. Grew up with dogs and cats and now am a proud cat dad. I pride myself on being punctual, responsible, and caring. I have taken care of dogs for family and friends for years. Being a Rover customer has encouraged me to be the best possible sitter, walker, visitor that I could be. I respect people's boundaries and animal's boundaries as well. I would prefer to meet you and your pet before we confirm sitting or visits just to make sure everyone is comfortable(especially your pets!). I am currently working part time and have lots of available time to walk, sit, and visit your cats or dogs. I can do multiple visits per days in Somerville if need be. I would prefer to take time to meet you and your pets before booking. I fully understand the concerns of having people in your home and treat spaces like I would want my home treated. I'm happy to clean litter boxes per directions and would always put things (food, leashes, toys, etc..) back in their place as directed. if you were to be out of town and asked me to retrieve mail, monitor lights and other utilities I would do that to the best of my abilities as well. As someone who has had Rover sitters come visit my cat Pepper I appreciate that extra effort that many of them have put forth. I would also be happy to communicate all visits through the app or phones with pictures and quick updates.

I have my own dog so 3-4walks on the weekend is our normal. I would consider weekdays, but we would have to talk because I work full time on site M-F, so during the week they would have a 20-30min morning walk and 1-2 afternoon walks. I have a well mannered dog friendly dog at home and I would care for your pet like I would mine…which means a lot of attention. Dogs would have to be able to do 3 flights of stairs or be pick-up-able
