“I couldn't be happier with the service provided. They communicated with me daily for an entire month, sending me pictures and videos of my dog meeting new friends and going on fun long walks! I could tell my Greyson was extremely happy and comfortable and well taken care of every day. They had him for his birthday and they even sang him happy birthday. They are an excellent family with lots of love for animals.”

About: I've always loved animals - I grew up around them on a small farm, took a couple years of animal science schooling, and currently volunteer on the Canine Enrichment team at a local shelter. Throughout these experiences, I've helped care for all kinds of animals with all types of needs. I'm no stranger to administering medications, helping dogs settle down, and knowing when a puppy "needs to go." While my life used to be an abundance of animals, now I just live with my sweet little kitty, Chef Mac. So, don't hesitate to reach out - I have plenty of space in my home and my heart for your pet! 𝑬𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑭𝒐𝒓: * The Usual: Dogs, Cats * Lil Fuzzy Guys: Guinea Pigs, Hamsters, Rats, Ferrets, Chinchillas, Rabbits * Barnyard Animals: Horses, Chickens, Goats * Scaly Friends: Bearded Dragons, Snakes By the way, I love taking pictures and writing as a hobby. So, you'll be getting a lot of informative, photo-rich updates! 𝑭𝒓𝒆𝒒𝒖𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒍𝒚 𝑨𝒔𝒌𝒆𝒅 𝑸𝒖𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 "𝙸'𝚖 𝚘𝚞𝚝 𝚘𝚏 𝚛𝚊𝚗𝚐𝚎!" Send the request anyway! I tell Rover I'm willing to drive 15 minutes. We all live in Boston, right? So we know 15 minutes is kind of a vibe. If you're in the Boston Metro or North Shore area, we can probably make it work. "𝙸 𝚍𝚘𝚗'𝚝 𝚑𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝚊 𝚌𝚊𝚛!" I do! Just let me know and I can likely do pickup and drop-off. The number I put in my profile is a general estimate. I'll look at how much gas it will take to reach you, plus time, then I'll send you a quote. It'll probably be cheaper than ridesharing! I work freelance from home - so I have tons of flexibility to work around your pet's schedule (or, your hectic schedule!). There are just two exceptions: -> I currently volunteer once a week at the animal shelter on Mondays from 11 to 1. This is the only hard-and-fast time that I need to be out of the home. -> I do run a morning route with other animals. This means your pet will be alone for between one to four hours per day. Otherwise, there is almost always someone in the house. -> Sunday are blocked by default on my calendar because I host my friends for board games. If you need a Sunday, please ask in your DM and we might be able to work something out. - Before the appointment, we will align on expectations and your pet's daily needs. This will help us maintain a consistent routine and minimize stress to your pet. If any items seem challenging to fulfill, I'll proactively inform you of that. - If your pet will be visiting my home, they must tolerate cats. All boarding appointments will have a free Meet and Greet so we can screen for prey drive to ensure the safety of both animals. - If you're booking a boarding appointment for one dog, I might accept a boarding appointment for a second dog from a different family that is a similar size. If you'd like exclusive access to the house, please say so! - If you're booking for a cat, we will not book a new dog at the time that you reserve without your express permission. They will only stay with other cats and small animals. - While my yard is technically fenced, your dog will always be leashed and taken on walks for their safety.
“Linda took amazing care of our girl Olive while I was away for work. She is a very experienced dog sitter and asked all the right questions during our meet and greet. She was flexible with pick up and drop off and communicative through the week. Would definitely use her again!”

“Michelle took exceptional care of my very nervous and anxious dog. I received daily pictures and updates while I was away letting me know how my pup was doing. Would absolutely book Michelle again!”

“Kaitlyn was so good with my pup, Franklin! Her communication was quick and she was so great with sending me pictures. Will be trusting her again with my dog soon!”

“The best experience I have ever had with a sitter! Christina was extremely flexible and communicative! She provided photos of our pup having the best time all weekend and frankly our dog was less than impressed with us when we picked her up. Will definitely be booking her again.”

“My dog had an excellent time with Kaisi. Kaisi sent lots of pictures of her dog and mine at the dog park, walking in fresh pond, looking so relaxed and happy. Thanks Kaisi!”

“**Read this if considering booking with Carlotta... On a routine visit to MGH my husband was admitted. As Murphy's Law dictates: What can go wrong.... the car died 2 days in and I had the dog with me. After a few days I msg'd some Rovers explaining our situation and asking if they had availability. Within MINUTES Carlotta replied: ABSOLUTELY! What can I do to help? At times like this those are some the kindest words you can hear. I had been so nervous dropping Pookie off not even having spoken but after that exchange I knew he would be just fine. When I did drop him off, I had to apologize. My little friend looked like a rag-a-muffiin. He had very obviously spent an inordinate amount of time in a hospital garage. It just wasn't an issue. Carlotta thought nothing of washing him, brushing him out and returning him smelling like the swetest birthday cake. Our pups feel so much that we do, a visit like this was just what Pookie needed. Carlotta sent several pics during Pookies time with her and it was CLEAR he was more than comfortable in her care. If you are a first time Rover or have a nervous friend Carlotta is the pupsitter for you. Her kindness this crazy week was soo appreciated by us. She will 100% be our go-to Rover in Boston. TY Yet Again Carlotta”

“Andy did a great job caring for Wally! He was very communicative and sent lots of updates. Wally had lots of walks, playtime, and time spent relaxing—and came back home a very happy pup! I highly recommend Andy!”

“Lynne was fantastic when we needed someone last minute on NYE!! She was attentive to my pup’s sensitive stomach, and sent tons of photos and updates. Thanks, Lynne!!”

“Dohwee is an excellent dog carer, dog’s best friend and he really spend so much time to care and pay much attention to our dog Churro. Dohwee not only make sure churro is feed on time and follow instructions on her daily care routines but also play with churro a lot. Churro seems so happy and safe when she is with Dohwee. When churro says goodbye Dohwee, I can feel her little sadness… I feel so lucky that i found Dohwee to take care churro when I travel for 2 weeks. Cannot speak enough good words about Dohwee and his wife for helping out”

“Isabella is amazing at taking care of Marvin and Mellow. We shared our concerns when it came to us being nervous but she gave us loads of reassurance and kept us up to date. This was our second time with her, and she was great! No complaints.”

“Piper came back happy from Belinda’s! Belinda was very responsible, flexible, and made sure to slowly introduce Piper to her own pup! If I am back in town with Piper I will definitely reach out to her again!”
Aggasiz-Harvard dog parents share their Rover experiences
My dog was so happy to meet a new trusted human in Shuhua! The stressful morning that lead to same-day booking for boarding was eased greatly by the comfort and gentle attention received in this home. So grateful for the help, plus my dog got to have an impromptu sleepover/vacation haha.

Kat and Matthew were so excellent with my dog. Last minute, I was able to book with them after another sitter cancelled on me a few days before I left for a vacation. They worked with me to figure out all the details last minute, and I’m so grateful. Then, after flights were delayed, and I couldn’t make it back to town in time, they graciously offered to keep my dog one additional night. They also sent me daily updates with tons of pictures and videos, which I also really appreciated. This last minute booking turned out to be the perfect fit.

Thank you so much, Jinyu, for taking such amazing care of Koda! We could really tell she felt comfortable and happy with you. We truly appreciated all the updates, photos, and the love and attention you gave her during her stay. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands. Thank you again for treating Koda like family, we would absolutely love to book with you again in the future 😊
