About: I've always loved animals - I grew up around them on a small farm, took a couple years of animal science schooling, and currently volunteer on the Canine Enrichment team at a local shelter. Throughout these experiences, I've helped care for all kinds of animals with all types of needs. I'm no stranger to administering medications, redirecting reactive dogs, and knowing when a puppy "needs to go." So we know 15 minutes is kind of a vibe. If you're in the Boston Metro or North Shore area, we can probably make it work. 𝙄 𝘿𝙤𝙣'𝙩 𝙃𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙖 𝘾𝙖𝙧! I do! Just let me know and I can likely do pickup and drop-off. The number I put in my profile is a general estimate. I'll look at how much gas it will take to reach you, plus time, then I'll send you a quote. It'll probably be cheaper than ridesharing! I work freelance from home - so I have tons of flexibility to work around your pet's schedule (or, your hectic schedule!). There are just two exceptions: -> I currently volunteer once a week at the animal shelter on Mondays from 11 to 1. This is the only hard-and-fast time that I need to be out of the home. -> I do run a morning route with other animals. This means your pet will be alone for between one to four hours per day. Otherwise, there is almost always someone in the house. -> Sunday are blocked by default on my calendar because I host my friends for board games. If you need a Sunday, please ask in your DM and we might be able to work something out. - Before the appointment, we will align on expectations and your pet's daily needs. This will help us maintain a consistent routine and minimize stress to your pet. If any items seem challenging to fulfill, I'll proactively inform you of that. - If your pet will be visiting my home, they must tolerate cats. All boarding appointments will have a free Meet and Greet so we can screen for prey drive to ensure the safety of both animals. - If you're booking a boarding appointment for one dog, I might accept a boarding appointment for a second dog from a different family that is a similar size. If you'd like exclusive access to the house, please say so! - If you're booking for a cat, we will not book a new dog at the time that you reserve without your express permission. They will only stay with other cats and small animals. - While my yard is technically fenced, your dog will always be leashed and taken on walks for their safety.

About: Hi! I work in education and have loved caring for dogs (and cats) in my free time. Growing up, I regularly pet sat for neighbors and friends, and in 2023 I adopted Sophie, who truly deepened my passion for understanding canine behavior and care. I love taking her on long walks, attending training classes, and exploring new places together. Through raising Sophie, I've become especially interested in the human–dog relationship and how clear communication builds trust, confidence, and a strong bond. For the past 2+ years, I've worked closely with a professional dog trainer, gaining hands-on experience with a wide range of behaviors, including reactivity, anxiety, and boundary-setting. Sophie is now fully off-leash trained, and that journey has taught us not just how to care for dogs, but how to truly understand them. I am comfortable working with dogs of all temperaments and always prioritize each dog’s safety, comfort, and individual needs - because no two dogs are the same. Whether your dog thrives on high-energy adventures or prefers a calm, structured environment, I'm happy to meet them where they are and provide attentive, compassionate care. **Service Area:** I service clients within a 15-minute driving radius of East Watertown. Bookings outside this area may be accepted on a case-by-case basis and will include an additional travel fee based on distance and time (calculated via Google Maps): • +$5 for 15–20 minutes • +$10 for 20–25 minutes • Or $1 per additional minute beyond that I'd love to meet you and your pup! I am currently working full time and am available for boarding/house sitting on weekends or any drop in care or walks needed in the evening on weekdays.
