“We couldn’t have had a better experience with Betsy and her family taking care of our furry guy. He had such a wonderful time and we received frequent updates with photos. Her kids told us stories about him when we picked him up- they made him feel like part of the family. We hope to have him stay with them again!”

“Andreas took such wonderful care of our small doodle. He seems to genuinely love dogs, and our pup had a great time staying with him. He also sent along many photos and updates of their day. 10/10!”

“Michelle always takes excellent care of my girl, Gertie. She is responsive, provides regular updates, and is the kind of auntie every pup hopes to have. Gertie can't wait for her next sleepover there!”

“Jordan did an incredible job taking care of Spud for a last minute weekend boarding at her home. Spud clearly had a great time and was well taken care of. Much appreciated and would love to use her services again!”

“Guillermo took care of our dog Amos for nine days. He was an exceptional care provider. He went above and beyond taking Amos to the vet, giving his prescribed medication and even returning to the vet for a refill. Amos had plenty of walks. We received many pictures of Amos which my family really enjoyed. I would definitely re-book with Guillermo.”

“Thank you Barbara and Jenn for taking great care of Bonnie. We knew she was safe and having fun while we were away and are very thankful to have had that peace of mind!”

“Tyler and Meichen were awesome with Milo! They kept sending us pictures, took him for multiple walks and it was clear he was super happy and having a great time. They really took great care of him, and we felt so at ease knowing he was in good hands. I’d totally recommend them to anyone looking for dog sitters—they’re the best!”

“Thank you again John. Walking dogs in a dense urban setting is not without its challenges. John is so experienced with this and we can head out of town without concern for our dog when he's in John's care.”

“Kaitlyn was so wonderful! She communicated regularly and was calm and understanding when Allie had a bout of stomach issues. Allie came home happy and tired, the perfect combination!”

“Alanis was super responsive and easy to work with setting up pet sitting for Denver. I loved that she sent me an update and picture after the first night and was very responsive during the visit as well. Denver came home one happy pup!!!”

About: I have extensive experience caring for cats from kittens to seniors, including administering oral medications. This includes my own cats and also family/friend cats. I have my own rescue pit mix dog who has needed some patience to build her confidence and I’m proud of the work we’ve done together in the 1+ years together. I’ve also worked as a kennel assistant handling meal times, medication, day cares, walks, and clean up. I have always loved pets, from hamsters up to big 100 lbs dogs. I will treat your baby with love and respect and understanding of their needs. I share pet care duties with my Fiance John who grew up with dogs and cats in his household and takes care of our two cats and rescue dog with me. We both work full time but I only work 4 days a week and John works 5 days but leaves later and gets home earlier than me. I handle the morning chores including pet meals and Phoebe’s first walk of the day. John handles the second walk of the day when he gets home from work and the second mealtime then. Night time, Phoebe always gets a walk before bed and cats get their last meal. On weekends and free days off together (I always have a 3 day weekend) Phoebe usually gets a trip out to a park, trail, or beach where she can either roam and get her running in. Phoebe gets playdates often with her dog besties who live nearby. Phoebe is crate trained and we have an extra crate on hand too as needed. Currently Phoebe and the cats roam free together when we’re at work because they’re trustworthy now but if a guest comes, we can separate rooms easily and use crates. In other clients homes, I will always follow the rules of the house. Dogs and cats alike will get lots of enrichment, walks, and playtime so everyone is satisfied and comfortable.
“Stefan and Mimi were fantastic with Loki, our two-year old Icelandic sheepdog. We were planning to leave Loki for a full week with a friend while our family went on vacation, but due to a last-minute crisis, our friend could not look after Loki. We contacted Stefan at 9pm on the evening before our flight. Stefan responded immediately. I took Loki over to meet him and Mimi at 10pm that same evening and had a good feeling. Stefan sent us tons of photos of Loki interacting with the other dogs that were in and out of his place while we were on our vacation. I think the whole family is super nice people and very experienced with dogs. My wife and I really appreciated our first Rover experience and would highly recommend Stefan to anyone.”

About: I’ve had and taken care of dogs my whole life! I have four dogs at home in Wisconsin (golden retriever, black lab, and two German shepherds!). I miss them a whole bunch and would love the opportunity to hang out and take care of any dogs! As a recent college graduate, I currently have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, daycare, and overnight stays throughout most weekdays and weekends. I love spending time with dogs and can provide plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and companionship while you’re away. I’m also happy to accommodate your pet’s specific routine whenever possible. I understand that every dog has unique needs and routines. I prioritize safety, clear communication, and following owner instructions carefully. I’ll treat your pet like my own, providing a safe, loving environment with plenty of attention, exercise, and care while you’re away.
“My dog had an excellent time with Kaisi. Kaisi sent lots of pictures of her dog and mine at the dog park, walking in fresh pond, looking so relaxed and happy. Thanks Kaisi!”

“This was our cairn terrier's third stay with Oana and Oliver. We feel very comfortable and confident leaving Lizzie with them. They're great communicators, easy to work with and our dog is well cared for while we're away.”

“Lexi was so kind and patient with our reactive pup. Though we have usual routines to recommend for our bud, she was still slow to come out of her shell but Lexi remained vigilant, communicative, and reassured us from afar that she was still in great hands. Thank you Lexi!!”

“Charlie had a great stay with Christina! I was nervous leaving Charlie and Christina sent photos throughout the stay so I could see what she was up to. Charlie had lots of walkies and snuggles and enjoyed her visit.”

“Ann and her husband took incredible care of our dog. She sent updates and photos regularly while we were away. She was also very accommodating with the drop off and pick up schedule, and was able to accommodate a last minute schedule change. It’s clear that Ann and her husband are dog lovers and go and beyond in their care. We will definitely use them again!”

“Zelun was so good with our dog. We will definitely be using zelun in the future. He sent lots of photos and had great communication. He also brought Iggy on many adventures each day like the park and nice walks!”
Cambridge Highlands dog parents share their Rover experiences
Ari and Sara are fantastic sitters, and I highly recommend them! They have watched Pipa several times and she is always so excited to go back to their house and see them. She gets along great with their dog, Bond, and always comes home happy and relaxed. Ari and Sara are incredibly responsive, flexible, and genuinely caring. It gives me great peace of mind knowing Pipa is in such good hands with them when I have to go away.

I had a great experience. Bok was excellent at communicating and sending photos and updates, and took excellent care of my dog Gatsby. Bok was very punctual and at the same time accommodating when my flight was delayed. My dog was clearly happy to to stay with Bok and his loving family, I could tell it from all the photos, and I felt that Gatsby liked it so much that he was even a bit reluctant to leave😅 I will be happy to use Bok’s services again. Totally recommend it!
My dog was so excited to go back to Todd’s for an overnight stay. He had the best time whenever he goes there, gets plenty of walks, lots of attention, and comes home such a happy camper. Todd is a trusted sitter for us and I will continue to book with him whenever I need somewhere for my dog to stay!

My dog Rory had the best time with Margaret!! Margaret was communicative and sent photo updates every day which was great. She also went above and beyond to do fun activities with Rory including daily fetch, long walks, etc. Rory looked so happy in all the pics and I’m sure she misses her new friend Margaret!
