“Rebecca communicated well before we met and throughout the weekend, as well as provided adorable photos and updates during her visits. I would recommend Rebecca to anyone looking for a great pet sitter!”

“Hillary was a great find in the "eleventh hour" of my search for service. She dropped in and took really good care of my dog while I was far away for the day. I felt confident from our first texts and Hillary's generous effort to come to my home for a meet n greet. Hillary followed through with great communication, lots of photos and follow up texts. I would call her again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her services ! Thank you so much!”

About: I have been the family/neighborhood cat and dog-sitter for years. From small little puppies and cats to Bernese Mountain dogs even larger than me! I am currently working part-time as a teacher so there is flexibility in my schedule to make time for pet visits, walks, or even overnight stays. I take long walks almost daily so having a furry companion with me would make them that much better. I always make sure any doors that need to remain shut are kept closed so no pets make their way into something they shouldn’t. Allergies are always noted in my phone, along with closest animal hospital just in case.
“Amanda was amazing!! All updates were thorough and she took so many good pictures, she spent lots of time playing and cuddling with our cat, who clearly loved her too :) highly recommend!!!”

“Sasha was a diligent and kind sitter for our cat. He’s an energetic cat but Sasha kept him entertained, loved, and most importantly safe during the holiday season. I highly recommend you retain her services.”

About: I lovingly cared for my dog Porter for 16 years, through puppyhood, adolescence, and being a senior doggy who needed special medical treatment. I also rescued his sister Chloe and had her for about five years before she passed on. I work from home, so my schedule is quite flexible. I would love to zip out in the middle of the day and take your pooch for a spin around Arlington. I currently have no animals in my home and I’m not sure I’m quite ready for another pet, which is why I’m trying out Rover for other doggies that need walks and pets
About: Truly can’t decide if I love cats or dogs more, since I’m lucky to have owned one of each. I'm comfortable with pets of all sizes, cat-sit regularly for my friends and have experience in house-sitting/walking dogs. My love of animals also extends to respecting their need for space and safety which includes reading their cues to determine how to interact with them. I’m more than happy to send photos if you miss them and can water any plants! I’m currently in an online grad program and job searching, so evenings are the majority of my availability. I usually walk or take public transportation to bookings. My cat of 15 years, Daisy recently passed away from cancer. Attending to her declining health and increased medical care was emotionally difficult but I gained experience in giving oral, dermal, and sub-dermal medication. If your pet has medical needs I will treat them with the same care. I enjoy playing with pets who come to me or who simply want gentle pats and to be called silly versions of their name. For those more stand off-ish I give them space and the invitation to connect with me.
About: I’m a Cambridgeton , dog walker. I’ve dog walked every single square in the Cambridge area. My goal is to give your pup a happy and careful walk/stay. I have a great passion for animal. Furthermore, they always been a part of my life. I find animals teach us a lot about connection, unconditional love and healing. Our family dog was (Toots) an English Springer Spaniel. Years later, I adopted my kitty (Sofia) a tortie. I’ve done volunteer work with Broken Tail Rescue. Assistance with cleaning, feeding, giving medication and adoptions. I have a “Papillon Chihuahua” named Brady. And a Black Lab Bailey. I own two dogs. PUP CARE! (personalized care). For drop in visits. I prefer to stay at my home. Happy, to drop in for care. We have a dog run outdoors so the pup can relieve and exercise. Additionally , I’m close to a dog park. Dogs whom frequently go to the dog park play a bit rough so please be aware of the situation. I just have appointments and I take some classes. I have plenty of time to care for a pup. I have time for walks , feeding and playing. Sometimes, I have to run an errand. I always take the pup out before I leave. Gone no more than an hour . I have a beautiful apartment , there are great places to walk, we have a dog park. In the front and back of the building there are areas where the dog can play. I don’t mind dogs on furniture. As long as they behave.
“Karen and her husband are amazing! I felt so comfortable leaving my cat knowing she wasn't alone for too long and was being played with and fed. She sent me tons of photos and let me know when she was coming and going and was super reassuring and kind. Would definitely recommend!!”

“Eleanor did an excellent and thoughtful job caring for my dog who had an unexpected medical emergency that was very serious. She helped her through the process and I’m very grateful to have had her help in that situation. She is a kind and responsible caregiver and I certainly recommend her.”
“Caroline was very friendly. She did a great job taking care of our cat Leo while we were away. Would highly recommend and rebook with her again the next time we go away! Thank you Caroline”

“Lorena took great care of my cat while I was away. She shared photos of him and gave me updates via his visit card. She also communicated quickly leading up to the visit. I would book Lorena again!”

“Will did a FANTASTIC job taking care of my 3 crazy Bengals. I was very nervous because this was my first time leaving them with someone since they were kittens and also my first time using Rover. We communicated while I was gone and he told me what everyone was up to, which really put my mind at ease…took goofy pictures, and I I could tell the litter boxes were changed and they had plenty of food and water. 💦. More importantly, they seemed very happy and chill, so clearly had been taken care of with attention and kindness. So altogether, I could enjoy my trip and not stress about leaving them at home. Thank you, Will. Great sitter!😻😻👍”

“Julia dropped-in in a pinch to take Jake out for a walk and a quick yard play with our neighbor pup. Jake was delighted to see a familiar face and mom was very grateful :) thanks Julia!”

About: Hello! My name is Mackenzie. I have always loved animals, and I'm currently enjoying life with my lovely Samoyed, Nymeria (Meri). I typically work in biotech but was just recently laid off, so I am free to return to Rover once again! This means I have a very flexible schedule to provide whatever pet care services you require. I am very detail-oriented and will always ensure I have the information I need to do the best job possible. Please let me know if you have any questions! I have just been laid off from my 9 to 5, so I am currently building a new schedule for the first time in almost four years. My typical routine that I will be working around is always a minimum of three walks a day for my dog. We live next to Fresh Pond, which is basically dog and nature paradise (miles of nature trails and many other animals if you are unfamiliar). I am very deliberate in creating a space that is clean and free of hazards. I think having my dog has been instrumental in making me more aware of every possible thing an animal could get into, and I am naturally very mindful of safety in general. I am respectful of other people's homes - always acting like you are in front of other people is honestly just good general life advice if you think about it.

Lara was absolutely wonderful! She was incredibly responsive, communicative, and kind throughout her stay with our cats. She followed all of our instructions carefully and was diligent about keeping us updated, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Most importantly, our cats felt extremely comfortable and happy around her—which is the ultimate sign of trust! I would have no hesitation whatsoever leaving our cats in Lara’s care again. She is someone I genuinely trust in our home and with our pets, and I would absolutely rebook and recommend her to anyone!

It's always a relief to know that Caitlin's looking after Jenny when I can't be there. I know Caitlin not only takes care of food, water, and other necessities. She also spends time with Jenny and let me know how she's doing. I absolutely recommend Caitlin for anyone's pet sitting needs.

Natalie is truly one of the kindest and most accommodating sitters that I have met. Her communication is excellent and she went above and beyond for my pet's care. I got super anxious leaving my pet alone and she made sure to send me photos and take care of my little kitty. I recommend her to everyone for pet sitting <3
