Hi! I’m Ilsa! I have experience with pets of all sizes, ages, and personalities, and I truly enjoy getting to know each animal and what helps them feel comfortable and happy. I work from home full-time, so pets staying with me get lots of attention, supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. My partner, also helps share responsibilities during stays, so your pet will have plenty of care and attention while they’re here. I’m comfortable with puppies, senior pets, administering medications, following specific routines, and helping reinforce training and good habits. I especially enjoy working with dogs on consistency, structure, and positive reinforcement in a calm and patient way. We have a very friendly dog and two cats in our home. Our dog is extremely gentle, submissive, and gets along well with every dog she’s met. Our cats are very dog-savvy and used to being around visiting dogs, which helps create a calm and comfortable environment for everyone. I know leaving your pet with someone else can feel stressful, so I do my best to make the experience easy, comfortable, and fun for both you and your pet. My goal is to provide a safe, relaxed environment where your pet feels cared for, loved, and right at home.

Ilsa truly went above and beyond with my dog. My pup was having some medical difficulties which required meds to be given, and also baby wipes to clean a weeping wound. She took incredible care of her. Highly recommend!

Our 5-year-old poodle Louis stayed 6 days with Ilsa, her pup Fig, and her 2 cats. It was one of his best boarding experiences. He was well-cared for, with lots of activity and stimulation.

Schedule
I work from home and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets lots of attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. Between myself and my partner, Brooke, someone is almost always home, so your pet will have plenty of supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and time to relax in a calm environment while you’re away.

I have access to a fenced backyard as well as several wonderful parks and walking areas nearby, so there are plenty of safe and fun places for your pup to explore, exercise, and relax. I’m happy to follow whatever routine your pet is used to, including feeding schedules, walks, crating, medications, training routines, and bedtime habits. I know every pet is different, and I do my best to help them feel comfortable and at home while maintaining consistency with their normal care. Our home is calm, pet-friendly, and well suited for social dogs. We also have a very friendly dog and two dog-savvy cats who are used to being around visiting pets. Safety, supervision, and making sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for are always my top priorities.

A typical day
A typical day includes lots of attention, outdoor time, play, and relaxation based on your pet’s energy level and needs. I typically do around four walks a day, varying in length depending on the dog, weather, and routine they’re used to. I also like to utilize the fenced yard at least once a day so dogs can safely run around, explore, and get some extra energy out. Between walks, pets usually spend time relaxing with me while I work from home, getting attention, cuddles, enrichment, playtime, and potty breaks throughout the day. I try to keep the environment calm, comfortable, and fun while following the routine your pet is most familiar with.
