Love cats at every life stage!
I've owned cats most of my life, and taken care of them from being kittens to end of life. I'm most familiar with shy, temperamental, and older cats, and am experienced giving medication, whether in pill form, topicals, inhalers, etc. I've assisted friends in cat introductions to help ease the stress. I'm a firm believer in listening to how cats are trying to communicate with me, and giving them the best care while respecting what makes them comfortable. You can expect an update per sitting with picture(s).

Delanie was super flexible with our schedule, and she seems to really care about the happiness of our cat Nellie. She even brought her own toys and got her to play (Nellie normally doesn’t like playing, especially not with new people. Delanie’s got some sort of magic). Would highly recommend and will book again if she allows us.
Delanie was amazing! The amount of attentiveness and care she put into caring for Dakota from the very beginning was incredible, and I couldn’t be more grateful. I had a complex situation of needing to board my baby last minute for a trip when she was only three weeks post-op. She kept a close eye on her recovery and made sure she was comfortable and safe the entire time. She turned an extremely stressful situation around by giving me peace of mind the entire time I was away. It’s clear that Delanie truly cares about the animals she looks after. I would absolutely trust Delanie again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate person to board their pet with, I promise they will be in good hands!

My 2 cats" 2nd stay with Delanie. Even better than the 1st stay which was a high bar. My male scaredy cat didn't complain at all on the way and settled and was relaxed immediately. Gives me hope to be able to travel train him. Both cats got top notch care. Being able to board my cats with Delanie for 2 stressful pest removal treatments at my condo was a humongous relief.
Outstanding. Even my scaredy male cat adjusted quickly and looked right at home in the photos. Excellent communication and care for the cats. My cats stayed in a whole room of their own. It had everything for them to be comfortable and plenty of room for their things that I brought. The fact that Delanie is less than a mile from my house is a plus but it would be worth boarding my cats with her if I had to drive.

Schedule
I'm currently a full-time pet sitter with a fairly flexible schedule. I'm available late mornings, midday and evenings for drop in visits, and for boarding. I work everyday of the week.

Safety, trust & environment
For in home visits, I like to have a conversation about your pets regular routine, either in person or over the phone to make sure I have all the information needed to keep your pet safe, comfortable, and happy. For boarding, my home has 2 large rooms appropriate for cats, which allow me to safely keep boarding cats separate from my own 2 cats, while providing them plenty of space to play and relax. I also keep my home quiet to help keep the environment as stress free as possible. All rooms, bedding, and litter boxes are thoroughly cleaned between boarders.
Pets
A typical day
For drop in visits, I typically start with feeding, move to litter, do a sweep to check for hairballs and other messes, and then spend the rest of the time giving pets and doing their preferred play, i.e. wand toys, catnip toys, balls, etc. I adjust as needed, adding in time for medications, cleaning, or adjusted feeding schedules.
