I've been a dog lover from the day I was born. Dolly and Rocket (Dalmatian and Golden Retriever) were my two childhood dogs that made me fall in love with man's best friend. When I lost Dolly and Rocket to old age, I began working at a local pet sitting service. It was the best decision I ever made. The 2 years of working as a professional pet sitter allowed me to experience a wide range of dog breeds, personalities, and ages and also exposed me to caring for cats. The demands of college required that I stop my pet-sitting but now that I have graduated , I am excited to return to pet sitting and get back to providing love and care to four-legged companions! I do pet-sit with my fiancée, Ameer (check him out in the photos). He has joined me for many pet sits over the years and is another devoted animal lover! Please let me know if there are any hesitations or questions about the both of us caring for your fur baby, especially if your little one is hesitant around men. Caring for your little one is a two-person job: I take the morning and evening shifts while Ameer handles the midday times. When I’m working in office during the day, Ameer stays with your little one to keep them company and handle any needs during the day. Then, I am there for long walks in the afternoon/evening and early morning walks to start your little one’s day off right! We treat your pets and home as if they were our own. This means above and beyond care to make sure your pets needs are met and your home is respected and kept clean. We are home bodies and love to curl up on the couch with a book/movie and a furry cuddle buddy next to us!

About: Hi! I’m a college student with a lifelong passion for animals. I grew up with both dogs and cats, fostered (and later adopted!) two rescue kittens, and recently raised a puppy who just turned one. At home, I care for 3 cats and 2 dogs, so I’m very comfortable with multi-pet households and understand the different needs of both young and senior pets. I’ve even looked after mice! Being around animals makes me feel at home, and I’d love the opportunity to give your pets the same love and attention I give my own. I am free anytime after 5pm M-F (excluding commute) and have open availability on weekends! However, I am happy to accommodate to whatever your needs are! I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible — from feeding schedules and playtime to walks, medications, and cuddle sessions. I’m attentive to their body language, energy levels, and individual personalities to make sure they feel safe and loved! “I am so thrilled with my experience with Emily. This is only our second time using rover and we have a very energetic and unique 2year old dog so it can be nerve wracking, but she was understanding and amazing with him. She made note that he didn’t go to the bathroom on their walk so made sure to take him out again before she left which shows how much she cares. She also used some commands with him which is great for him to practice. She followed my directions on where and how to walk him and they played with his favorite toys.
