“Amanda was thoughtful and delightful to work with for drop-in care. Our puppy Rosie just had surgery, so had to restrict her activities and be carried up/downstairs. Amanda followed Rosie's post surgery care instructions and kept Rosie calm and happy. We loved the picture updates. Amanda patiently sat outside with Rosie to get fresh air. Amanda was always on time and very flexible for last minute changes. Would definitely recommend Amanda.”

About: Hello, I would like to say I have had the joy of having dogs and petsitting throughout my life and have loved every aspect of it. My dog, Holly, lived to be 18 years old under my care. I took care of her from when she was a puppy until the end of her senior years so I have a wide range of knowledge on aging dogs. I have a lot of energy so keeping up with a dogs' exercise needs will be no problem. And to me, dogs are family. My dog was like a little sister to me so I understand the trust involved in letting someone else take care of them. I can assure you I have a wealth of compassion for animals, and, given the opportunity, I will care for your dog as if they were my own. Thank you for considering me to care for your dog and I hope you have an amazing day! My schedule is pretty flexible. As of this month I have all day Thursday and Friday available as well as the rest of the week as long as the pet care ends by 2pm. If this doesn't work for you please reach out so we can find a solution! I will keep this updated as my schedule opens up. My home has 2 locked doors to get in and is in a very safe part of Somerville. I currently have a gecko who I feed daily and ensure he has a balanced diet and regular vet appointments as well as enrichment. When I had dogs and cats in the past I was outside for hours every day playing with them and making sure their lives were happy and fun. It brings me a lot of joy to see animals happy and enjoying life. Their lives are so short I want to make every moment a great one.
