I am responsible & love all pets!
For as much as I love dogs, I've never actually owned one! I did own a rabbit for 7 years and had a foster rabbit for several months. I have dog/house sat for friends, family, multiple bosses, and folks who have found me via Rover. I have experience working in shelters in NY and Australia, working with stressed out, nervous, and overly excited pups. I am confident taking care of any age range and breed, I've had experience with everything at the shelters! I just got my first kitten in January, a small Tuxedo cutie, and live with my partner and their 13 year old Tuxedo. I have given topical and oral medications to cats and am well versed in everything from kitten to senior cat needs! My friends also jokingly call me the pet whisperer because dogs and cats alike seem to love me almost immediately, and of course I love them back with head scratches and belly rubs!

I am very respectful of others' spaces and aim to leave the house better than I found it. I always make sure to clean up after myself, take out trash/recycling, and am more than happy to get the mail, packages, water plants, etc.

Alanna was AMAZING! Spending 10 days at our home with our elderly cat, she went above and beyond helping us while we were away. She took great care of our kitty and left the place in better shape than we did! We truly enjoyed our vacation more knowing that our fur baby was in such good hands.
This is the second time I hired Alanna to watch my cat and I'll definitely be hiring her a third time! Her communication was great, and I was living for her photo updates and summaries. Highly recommend!

Alanna did an awesome job watching Bandit! She was accommodating and had excellent communication from the meet & greet to the end of the booking. I loved her regular updates, and I appreciated her willingness to give Bandit oral medicine during the drop-ins. I'm grateful she was available and will definitely be booking again :)

I work full time but am 100% remote. I am more than happy to spend as much time as physically possible giving your pet attention :)
