Whether it was running with my grandmother's Husky, or cleaning her English Bulldog's ears, wrinkles, and eyes, I've been caring for dogs of all sizes since I was a young kid. Before moving to MA, I cared for my late family dog for 10 years, a beautiful yellow Labrador Retriever (in need of special care as a senior pup), and occasionally cat-sat for some friends. Since September of 2021, I’ve been regularly walking dogs and pet-sitting with Wag and Rover. I started in the Medford/Somerville area, and now service Allston/Brighton.

I can crate your dog if needed, or brush your long-haired cat's coat frequently, and will follow any specific instructions given to me. I can guarantee that all my attention will be on your furry friends, ensuring they are safe, hydrated, fed, and happy. I also love being active, so I can spend lots of time playing with them.

Helena took fantastic care of my cat Liuliu. She kept me posted on the feeding schedule, shared what she noticed about my cat and apartment, and asked extremely thoughtful questions. Liuliu had a hard time adjusting to staying with friends during my leave, but Helena's steady, gentle presence helped her settle right back in. It brought me great comfort to see how well Liuliu was doing with Helena around, and I loved all the pictures and videos she shared along the way.
Helena gave outstanding care to my cat Otis while we were away for 2 weeks. She stayed in my home and not only did she give love, attention and grooming to my fluffy himalayan cat, but she took care or my home in a conscientious, responsible manner. There were various vendors and issues that came up and Helena responded immediately and had great follow up. Otis was happy and relaxed when we got home and the house was immaculate. Do not hesitate to hire Helena. She allowed me to have a great vacation and not worry about Otis or my house.
Helena was great. Agreed to take a last minute holiday weekend booking and was wonderful for my cat. Followed the scheduled checkins, was very detailed in visit notes, took pics and videos, and overall was very kind to my cat.
Helena, as always, took wonderful care of our cat Luna. I regularly received photos and videos, which was great. Luna was happy, relaxed, and clearly very well looked after — and that’s exactly what matters! Thank you so much, Helena! ❤️
Helena has once again taken wonderful care of my cat while I was away. My cat was happy, well-fed, and clearly well looked after, and I came home to a spotless apartment. This was the first time leaving my new kitty with a sitter while I was away. I was of course a bit anxious to leave her with a stranger, but Helena quelled all of my anxiety the minute we met. She was WONDERFUL with my little nugget. Not only did she take excellent care of her, but she also sent frequent updates accompanied by multiple photos the whole time I was gone. She also offered to pick up a few things that I didn't get to before I left, which was extremely helpful to me. I greatly appreciated everything she did and it made me feel so much better about being away despite really missing my girl. I would HIGHLY recommend Helena to anyone for pet sitting and will definitely hire her again. Thanks Helena!!

Schedule
When I’m not pet-sitting, I’m managing a smoothie shop! I have a (mostly) flexible schedule aside from working four 7-8 hour shifts every Wednesday through Saturday, though the exact times vary weekly. While this means I can’t give 24/7 care to your fur baby, I will show them all the love and attention they deserve in the time we do share together. Thank you for allowing me to spend my free time doing something I wholeheartedly enjoy: spending time with sweet animals!

If you give me detailed instructions on how you prefer to care for them, I am more than capable of satisfying both you and your pet's needs.
