About: I have been working personally and professionally with dogs for years. I've raised 3 puppies, and worked at a dog daycare/boarding facility, so I know all about keeping fur babies safe and happy. I have my own Golden Retriever who LOVES to make new friends! About: Like most reasonable people, I’ve loved animals my whole life. I spent many Saturdays as a young adult just hanging out and volunteering at the animal shelter because it made me so happy. I think what sets me apart from other sitters is that I’m very patient, self-aware, and I’m not easily grossed out. I’ve sat still for hours waiting for an animal to trust me enough to approach me. I make sure to read their bodies before extending my hand, and I am conscientious of making noise because I want them to be comfortable. I don’t have a weak stomach when it comes to shedding, drool, or accidents. I am a substitute teacher for elementary schools in the area and I work when I can, but there are many days when there are no listings available, or that I’m working partial days. I’m generally pretty free. I will follow the direction and guidelines of the pet owner to keep the animal safe. I am a cautious person and would not let somebody else’s pet outside without a harness or secure fence unless otherwise directed.
