“A truly 5 star experience. Cameron was easy to communicate with and work with. Just off vibe alone I knew my dog was in good hands when he was picked up. Throughout the day I was consistently updated with photos and videos of my dog out and about. I highly highly recommend Cameron to anyone in need of a dog-sitter. Next time I’m in Boston I will 100% be reaching out to him first. Finn will miss Cameron and Rosie a ton!!! 5 stars!!”

“Michelle did a great job providing a day of daycare for my dog. She is very easy to work with and responds to messages quickly. I greatly appreciated her flexibility with my adjustments to both the dropoff and pickup times. Most importantly, my dog was happy and comfortable going with her after our initial meet and greet. I'm pleased to have found Michelle and will definitely keep her in mind for future daycare needs.”

“Emma was a lifesaver! We needed to book hour of and Emma responded right away. We were not aware our Airbnb did not permit pets to stay unsupervised, we were only in Boston for the day and needed to find daycare in a hurry. Emma was responsive, kind and took great care of our dog. Super appreciative and highly recommend if in the area:)”

“This was our puppy’s very first time being away from us, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Kaitlyn kept us updated with photos and messages, which really helped ease our nerves. Our boy came back happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It’s such a relief knowing we have someone we trust for future stays. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable sitter!”

“Elizabeth and Rodrigo were great with Oscar. They were flexible when I needed to shift my drop-off and pickup times, which made my day so much easier. They sent a few photos throughout the day too, which I always love getting. Oscar came home tired and happy, so he clearly had a good time. Would book with them again in a heartbeat. Thanks you two!”

“Emma was really great! She always sent me updates on how it was going and was flexible about timing with my work schedule. My dog is super shy but she warmed up to Emma quickly :)”

“Laura is a wonderful dogsitter! She calmed down my anxious pup and sent me lots of pictures and updates throughout the day. My pup came home happy and tired. I'll definitely book again!”

“Nate is a wonder with my pups and super accommodating to me. This was my first time using rover and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! He sent pictures, and bonded with both of my dogs who are typically skeptical of new people. They felt right at home with Nate and I couldn’t appreciate it more.”

“Banapsha is amazing! She made an immediate connection with Peanut who has some separation anxiety and has been through a lot of recent medical issues. She gave me frequent updates, pictures and asked questions when she was unsure what I would prefer in terms of her care. I hope to hire Banapsha again when she is available!”

“Niusha was great with Mospy! Mopsy is still really young and has a ton of puppy energy, but she was able to entertain her the whole time! Mopsy was pooped by the time she got home. She even set up a little doggie play date for Mopsy since she loves playing with other dogs. Would definitely book again.”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Maria and McAben! My husband and I were in Boston for work for a week and brought our three-year-old miniature dachshund, Enzo, along with us. Since we were staying in a hotel, we needed someone to care for him during the day for three consecutive days — and Maria and McAben were absolutely incredible. From the very start, they made us feel completely at ease. Leaving your dog with new people can be nerve-wracking, but we felt 100% confident and comfortable the entire time. Their apartment is welcoming and dog-friendly, and it was clear that Enzo was treated like part of the family. They showered him with cuddles and attention, sent frequent photo updates, and checked in thoughtfully throughout the day. Their communication was outstanding — proactive, warm, and reassuring. It meant so much to know he was not only safe, but genuinely happy and loved. Maria and McAben are truly wonderful people who clearly care deeply about the dogs they look after. We would book them again in a heartbeat — 1,000% recommend — and feel confident they would do an amazing job with dogs of all kinds. Thank you both for taking such great care of our little guy!”

About: I grew up with my cousin’s dogs. We used to bathe them and put little jackets on them to keep them warm in winter. I get to have my own cat more than a decade ago, which is one of the most fortunate things that ever happened in my life. I started raising her when she was about one month old and bottle fed her. Now she’s a happy and loved teenager living her best life. I always tell people that if I weren’t studying what I’m studying now, I’d definitely choose to be a vet to live and work with animals! I’m currently a full-time PhD student at Harvard University. I’m in dissertation writing stage which means I have a lot of time on my own at home. I go out to take classes at times, but I’m at home most of time to make sure your cats are companied(of course, I’ll give them personal space as well)! I live in a one-bedroom, well maintained apartment. I will make sure that cats are away from windows. I will only open the windows of the room where the cats are not around
About: I’ve spent my whole life around animals — from helping raise dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, and hamsters in my own home, to professionally pet sitting and walking since I was a a young teen. What sets me apart is how naturally and intuitively I connect with animals of all kinds and how deeply I care about making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved when they're with me! I’ve had the unique (& humbling😄) experience of raising & training (crate, potty, leash) a beagle puppy as a 15-yr-old, while also helping my senior golden retriever through end-of-life care. I've also fostered and understand the unique needs of different breeds, temperaments, and how to meet pups where they're at. Whether it’s managing an energetic puppy's exercise routine, gently caring for a senior pet's slower pace, or understanding how to read a timid dog's body language—I’m highly attuned to the needs of every pet & always happy to follow special instructions.😊 My ultimate goal is to make sure your pet feels right at home with me & give you complete peace of mind knowing they’re in the most loving, reliable hands possible! I’m currently focusing full-time on pet care, so I have a very open & flexible schedule! Whether you need a midday walk, overnight care, or last-minute help, I’m available & happy to work around your routine. I genuinely love spending time with animals & I’m excited to fill my days/weeks giving your pet the attention they deserve. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or mine, their safety, comfort, and happiness always come first. I’ll follow your pet’s routine, keep your & their space clean and safe, and send regular updates (& pics). Any specific instructions should be discussed ahead of time, otherwise I’ll ask questions as they arise. I am highly attentive to communications (messaging/calls) when pet sitting for everyone’s sake! I live in a spacious, 3-bed 2-bath, 2nd story sunny apartment with plenty of room to play & relax. I have a lots of cat/dog toys, but happy to use yours if applicable. My neighborhood is very safe and quiet, with quick access to the street for potty breaks & right around the corner from a beautiful park with a fenced-in play area - plus walking distance from 2 fenced dog parks for extra exercise & playtime.
“Sandra went above and beyond to make both me and Koda feel so comfortable. She was communicative, reliable, and caring. I could tell Koda loved her and had an amazing time. I was so impressed with Sandra and will absolutely be reaching out to her again.”

About: I love using Rover to find care for my own doggos :) On my own, I have raised my two senior pitbulls, Brave and Skylar. I adopted them both as senior pitbull rescues and these dogs are my whole life. These days it’s just me and Skylar (11 years old little lovebug) as Brave passed a few years ago. Skylar is the sweetest big sister doggo :) my furry little sausage. I’m a working academic and artist so I’m very flexible since I mainly work from home. I would love to take care of your pet :) I studied at Columbia for undergrad then both Cambridge and Harvard for graduate school so I’ve been living in the Boston area for 4 years now :) My pets are my whole life, so I would care and treat yours as though my own :) Please let me know all the details of your pet.
About: Hi there 👋! I’m an animal lover and current dog mom to a lab mix, Felix. I also grew up with all sorts of fur and furless pets. Felix and my partner will be away all summer so I’m looking to fill the void with another pup to love and take care of as my own during this time. Happy to be your speed-dial petsitter after the summer as well, and Felix will be your pups new bff. I fully WFH so your pup will rarely be left alone! With working from work, I am easily able to go on 3+ daily walks and have play sessions during the day. Having my own dogs has taught me where to walk for the best sniff spots and what treats are the yummiest. I am flexible and can adjust to each dog’s individual needs but providing care to my own dog has made the following my standard routine; walking 3-4 times per day, playing, feeding, medication administration, and bathing.

Roman had a wonderful time! I loved the updates and the pictures throughout his stay! It definitely makes my fur mom heart a little more settled knowing the great care he is in and updates on what he’s doing during his time! Definitely came home nice and sleepy!!

I am very happy with Lynn's care of Fiona. Her attentiveness and care for our 9-month-old puppy was evident, and--even more important--Fiona seemed to thoroughly enjoy her day with Lynn (which was long: from 8am to 8pm). A few days before the 'big day' Lynn arranged a 'meet and greet' at a nearby park, and Fiona took to her immediately. So, when it came time for us to leave Fiona in Lynn's care, the transition was seamless, and Fiona went along happily. I will definitely ask Lynn to watch Fiona on my future trips to Cambridge/Somerville.

Veronica and her husband are fantastic! they’ve watched our senior dog Calamari a number of times and have been so goodie with her every time. Veronica sends plenty of updates & photos. She also has been able to administer daily meds for Calamari, which is a huge help. 10/10 recommend leaving your pup with Veronica!! thanks again both 🙏🏽

Wendy has been an amazing pet sitter for Bruno. She is very proactive in sharing regular pictures and updates, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. She is also very flexible and accommodating with pickup and drop-off schedules, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. What we truly appreciated was how engaged she kept Bruno—she spent time playing with him and ensured he felt comfortable and happy. It’s clear that she genuinely cares for the pets she looks after. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!

Teddy lover staying with Lauren for day care! I will definitely be using her again on a regular basis for my long shifts. She always responded so quickly and had pictures of Teddy just hanging out or on their walks. I love that she is close to a park so Teddy can walk around some green space and not always on the busy hot city sidewalks. Thanks Lauren!

William and Krystal have been watching my three-year-old dachshund, Enzo, every week for the past month or so, and I truly cannot recommend them enough. They are incredibly thoughtful and communicative in the best possible way. I never worry when Enzo is with them because they consistently share updates, photos, and details about how he’s doing, which gives me so much peace of mind. They genuinely treat Enzo like he’s their own — taking him to the park, giving him so much love and attention, and making sure he’s happy and comfortable. Enzo can be pretty anxious, so it says a lot that he’s always so calm, relaxed, and excited to see them. They’re also extremely observant and attentive to his needs, which I really appreciate as an anxious dog mom myself. They’ve even given Enzo baths before, which is such a thoughtful touch and just shows how much they care. I completely trust them with my dog, and more importantly, Enzo clearly trusts and loves them too. I would highly recommend William and Krystal to anyone looking for caring, reliable, and genuinely wonderful pet sitters.
