“Rebecca was very friendly and communicative. She scheduled a meet and greet to introduce our dog to her space and asked insightful questions. She has great experience caring for larger dogs, and our dog came home relaxed and happy.”

“Elizabeth and Rodrigo were great with Oscar. They were flexible when I needed to shift my drop-off and pickup times, which made my day so much easier. They sent a few photos throughout the day too, which I always love getting. Oscar came home tired and happy, so he clearly had a good time. Would book with them again in a heartbeat. Thanks you two!”

“this was our first time using rover—or having someone outside our family watch our newly adopted dog—and lynne helped us have a great first experience. she made us feel comfortable from the get go and, most importantly, our fur baby seemed to enjoy his day with her. we would be thrilled to have her dog sit for us again, and recommend her without reservation to others!”

“She is an amazing sitter! She gave frequent updates throughout the day, and really appreciated that she went above and beyond by sending a lot of pictures. Also, I really appreciate her flexibility. If you’re in Boston, highly recommend her as your pet sitter. Go Greta (and Juniper)! 🫶✨”

“Andrew and Ellen were great with Wallace! He truly loves them and Mango. I have such peace of mind when they take care of my dog, which is invaluable. They are super flexible and accommodating. Wallace and I have been so lucky to find them!”

About: I grew up with 2 Yorkies and bulldogs! I love dogs with my life. Dogs are like family to me. One of my Yorkies (they both live in my hometown) passed away recently due to her age, so I do know how to properly take care of dogs even when it comes to senior dogs or even puppies. I am always available to take care of dogs! I live with my boyfriend who works at home so he is available in case I’m not home. I go to law school so sometimes it does get busy but I’m always happy to take care of a baby (pet)! I take care of pets at my home by providing them a place for them to be able to sleep comfortably and play with their toys. I also think that talking to them calms them down and makes them more comfortable. Dogs are really smart and they do understand rules if you explain it to them!
“Anastasia was amazing!! Visiting Boston for my bday Nervous to leave our puppy but she was so incredible with Bella and sent us updates all day! Thank you!”

“Emma took such great care of Arya and she was so happy with her stay! Emma sent updates and pictures to me of my baby girl and kept me updated with any changes. I would definitely recommend her!”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life, including two Labrador Retrievers named Maverick and Goose, and a Beagle that I cared for over 10 years, so I’m very comfortable with daily routines, exercise, and understanding different personalities. I’ve also done several overnight house-sitting and dog care jobs, working with a wide range of breeds, from small dogs like pugs to larger, high-energy dogs like huskies. I’ve always had a genuine love for animals and caring for them. The first animal I really fell in love with was a manatee when I was about 5 years old living in Florida, and that kind of stuck with me. My time as a kid was spent at the beach boogie boarding out into the ocean hoping a dolphin would find me and become my friend. Growing up, I loved going to the aquarium and the zoo to learn about different animals, and I’ve always been especially drawn to red pandas and stingrays. That curiosity and appreciation carries over into how I care for pets—I really enjoy getting to know each animal’s personality and making sure they feel safe and happy. In addition, I have a lot of hands-on caregiving experience through taking care of my brother who has special needs, as well as working with special needs youth. That’s taught me to be patient, attentive, and very in tune with individual needs, which I bring into how I care for animals as well. Pet care honestly fits into my routine really naturally because it’s something I genuinely enjoy and look forward to. I have a part-time job in the mornings and some evenings, so I have a lot of flexibility during the day to spend quality time with dogs—whether that’s going on long walks, stopping by for visits, or just hanging out and keeping them company. I grew up with dogs and took care of my Beagle for 10 years, so I’m very used to building my day around their needs. It doesn’t feel like a task to me—it’s something I love doing. Being around dogs, getting outside, and making sure they’re happy and cared for is something I naturally make time for every day. I focus on making pets feel comfortable, safe, and at ease by sticking closely to their normal routine. I know how important consistency is, so I follow feeding schedules, walk times, and any specific instructions carefully. When I’m in a client’s home, I’m very respectful of their space and make sure their dog is always supervised and within my sight. I pay attention to their behavior and energy so I can respond to what they need, whether that’s a long walk, playtime, or just relaxing together so they don’t feel alone. If I’m caring for a pet in my own home, I create a calm, safe environment where they get plenty of attention, exercise, and downtime. I really just try to treat every dog like my own and make sure they feel happy and cared for the whole time.
About: I’ve helped care for friends’ and family’s dogs for several years, whether that means going on walks, feeding them, playing with them, or simply keeping them company. I love spending time with animals and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I’m patient, reliable, and always pay attention to each pet’s individual needs so they can have a fun and stress-free experience. :) I currently work online and have a very flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time to care for your pets throughout the day. Because I work remotely, I’m able to give them lots of attention, playtime, walks, and companionship. I’m flexible with timing and happy to work with your pet’s routine and needs. :) I live in a quiet residential neighborhood with a backyard and a park nearby, so your pet will have plenty of opportunities for walks and outdoor time. I keep my home clean, tidy, and pet-friendly to make sure it’s a safe and comfortable environment. I don’t have any pets of my own, so I can fully focus on giving your pet the attention and care they need while they’re with me. :)
“Tae took just a great care of Archie and it was very obvious that he had such a good time playing with Tae and her lovely Goldendoodle. He was also able to relax with the comfy bed that Tae provided. Will definitely ask for Tae’s help again in future!”

“Sandra went above and beyond to make both me and Koda feel so comfortable. She was communicative, reliable, and caring. I could tell Koda loved her and had an amazing time. I was so impressed with Sandra and will absolutely be reaching out to her again.”

“Nate is a wonder with my pups and super accommodating to me. This was my first time using rover and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! He sent pictures, and bonded with both of my dogs who are typically skeptical of new people. They felt right at home with Nate and I couldn’t appreciate it more.”

Cindy was amazing with our dog Gia today. This was our first time with her, and our dog was already comfortable with her. Cindy was extremely communicative, professional, and sent many progress photos through the day. She was so loving and caring with our puppy, we will definitely be using her help again. Highly recommend her!

She is an amazing sitter! She gave frequent updates throughout the day, and really appreciated that she went above and beyond by sending a lot of pictures. Also, I really appreciate her flexibility. If you’re in Boston, highly recommend her as your pet sitter. Go Greta (and Juniper)! 🫶✨

Angelena was so kind, communicative, and took such wonderful care of our dog. It was clear that our dog was happy, comfortable, and had the best time while we were away. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing she was in such great hands. We would absolutely book with Angelena again!

Maria and McAben are lovely people who accepted our last-minute request to care for our pup while we were at a Red Sox game. Our pup has separation anxiety issues and Maria snuggled and cuddled her until she calmed down and was very attentive in keeping me updated and sending photos. Very caring soul!
