I’ve spent the last 6 years raising and training my own dog from puppyhood into a well-mannered adult, and I recently rescued another puppy who I am doing the same with. I’m very comfortable with everything from potty training to socialization and routines. I understand how important consistency, safety, and communication are, and I treat every pet like my own while respecting your wishes and routine. You’ll get regular updates, photos, and a very loved on puppy when you get home. I’m currently working virtually so I have a lot of time on my hands for your best friends! I’m open to be flexible to your needs. When pets stay with me, I try to make things feel as close to “home” as possible. I follow your routine for feeding, potty breaks, and playtime, and I’m big on safety as well. I build in a mix of exercise and quiet time so pets feel calm and comfortable. I also make an effort to send regular photo updates so you always know how your bff is doing! When I’m caring for pets in their own space, I respect your home and your rules. I keep to your schedule, tidy up food/litter areas, and make sure everything is exactly how you left it. I pay attention to behavior and appetite, watch for anything out of the ordinary, and give plenty of love while you’re away. You can expect clear communication, check-ins, and honesty from me!

I provide house-sitting and during the day animal care, and I love spending time with animals in fenced-in yards and/or going on plenty of walks—whatever your pet prefers! About: I have had a wide range of dogs, cats and other miscellaneous pets throughout my lifetime and I have a lot of experience with taking care of them. I have trained both of my current dogs in basic obedience (sitting, laying down, come, stay etc). I have loved animals for my entire life, and enjoy taking the time to get to know the individual needs of each animal in order to best care for them. I have in-home dog sat several times before, and I am very attentive and able to cater to any need your pet has while walking, sitting or playing with them. I also used to volunteer at the animal shelter, and I took one of my dogs to a training class to learn proper care and techniques. My husband and I recently got a adopted a puppy and we did a lot of research and “on-the-job” learning of how to raise a well-behaved dog! I am a grad student preparing for a new year! This summer, I have the time to spend time with your pets! My schedule is super flexible and I am able to care for the needs of your beloved animal! My style of care varies a bit from pet to pet. I really enjoy training, and getting to know different animals. An important part of pet care, especially for dogs, is to make sure they have their mental and physical needs met. I am happy to spend time working with your pup (whether in training or socialization practices), exercising them, and making sure they have everything they need. I look to build a bond with the animal to make sure they feel safe as well!

Matilde has taken care of our cat, Ellie, multiple times now and she is truly the best! She is so thoughtful, compassionate, and always goes above and beyond to make sure Ellie is happy and well taken care of. Ellie can be a bit spicy and timid, but Matilde is incredibly patient and always respects her boundaries. We feel completely comfortable and at ease knowing Ellie is in her care when we are away!
Serena is an excellent cat sitter who was willing to accommodate a last minute booking. She is very detailed in her updates on each session and was even willing to scoop litter and take out trash before we returned. Amanda was so great! She was so easy to communicate with and she sent lots of pictures so we knew our cats were in good hands. Helena took fantastic care of my cat Liuliu. She kept me posted on the feeding schedule, shared what she noticed about my cat and apartment, and asked extremely thoughtful questions. Liuliu had a hard time adjusting to staying with friends during my leave, but Helena's steady, gentle presence helped her settle right back in. It brought me great comfort to see how well Liuliu was doing with Helena around, and I loved all the pictures and videos she shared along the way.
Valerie did an amazing job taking care of our two cats. She provided great summaries of the visits with fun pictures. One of our cats can sometimes be a bit fussy to eat and she handled it with ease. We would definitely recommend Valerie and would have her sit again for us in the future!
