About: I have tried to live life around as many animals as possible. Grew up with dogs and cats and now am a proud cat dad. I pride myself on being punctual, responsible, and caring. I have taken care of dogs for family and friends for years. Being a Rover customer has encouraged me to be the best possible sitter, walker, visitor that I could be. I respect people's boundaries and animal's boundaries as well. I would prefer to meet you and your pet before we confirm sitting or visits just to make sure everyone is comfortable(especially your pets!). I am currently working part time and have lots of available time to walk, sit, and visit your cats or dogs. I can do multiple visits per days in Somerville if need be. I would prefer to take time to meet you and your pets before booking. I fully understand the concerns of having people in your home and treat spaces like I would want my home treated. I'm happy to clean litter boxes per directions and would always put things (food, leashes, toys, etc..) back in their place as directed. if you were to be out of town and asked me to retrieve mail, monitor lights and other utilities I would do that to the best of my abilities as well. As someone who has had Rover sitters come visit my cat Pepper I appreciate that extra effort that many of them have put forth. I would also be happy to communicate all visits through the app or phones with pictures and quick updates.

Nathan took great care of our two cats during a two-week trip, and we would happily book him again. He was reliable, communicative, and easy to work with, and he sent regular check-ins that gave us real peace of mind while we were away. During each visit, he handled everything we needed — feeding, checking the litter, playing with the cats, making sure they were happy and comfortable, and even tidying up a small mess one of them made — all without any fuss. We also appreciated his patient help when our Litter Robot got a little finicky mid-trip. Overall, Nathan was thoughtful, dependable, and clearly cared about making sure our cats were well looked after. We were all very glad to have his care.

We feel so fortunate to have found Nick! Literally the day after our meet and greet, we learned we needed to travel out of town for a family funeral. Nick accepted the drop-in sitting job on short notice, came when he said he would, followed all our cat care instructions and gave our boys some quality time consistent with their individual needs. Isabel was an incredible sitter for our special needs cat, Maeby. Maeby is diabetic and needs to be on a strict feeding/insulin shot schedule and Isabel handled everything perfectly. This was the first time we have had to be away from our cat since her diabetes diagnosis so we were quite nervous about the whole thing but after meeting Isabel and getting her check-in updates, we definitely felt much more relaxed and comfortable knowing Maeby was in great hands. I highly recommend Isabel and will 100% invite her back to take care of Maeby in the future.
Courtney was absolutely fantastic! She went out of her way to make a special trip to meet Dolly beforehand, and it was clear from the start how much she genuinely loves animals. She took wonderful care of my cat and was incredibly accommodating when an issue came up with the key. I had unfortunately left her with a lock that wasn’t working properly, and she handled the situation with patience and resourcefulness. I felt completely at ease knowing Dolly was in such caring and capable hands.
