About: I've had dogs and cats in my life since I was 5, currently own cats and have owned and fostered dogs in the past. Neighbors, family, and friends have relied on me to check in, feed pets, play, and go for walks. I have experience with a wide variety of dogs of different sizes and ages and cats of different personalities and ages. This is only our second time using rover and we have a very energetic and unique 2year old dog so it can be nerve wracking, but she was understanding and amazing with him. She made note that he didn’t go to the bathroom on their walk so made sure to take him out again before she left which shows how much she cares. About: Hi! My name is Celine and I’m new to Rover :) I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember! Even though I didn’t grow up with one because of my dad’s allergies, I’ve always jumped at any chance to care for friends’ dogs. I’m very active, so I love going on walks, playing, and making sure pets get lots of attention and exercise. Ive also read a lot about how to take care of certain breeds of dogs (example: Dachsund) and what exercises and mental stimulation they will need. I’ve dog sat many times over the years and enjoy every minute of it. I’m thinking of getting a puppy next year so would love to use Rover as a start! Please be aware that I will be moving to CT/NYC November 21st! So I will be available in Boston until then :) I currently am working hybrid (Tuesday-Wednesday) in office, but my partner works fully remote Monday-Friday (He also loves animals and has a dog of his own at home, so he would be able to take care of any dog/cat while I’m at work for a couple hours)! On the days where I work from home, I have time throughout the day to go on a walk, make lunch, etc. I will have plenty of time to take care of pets throughout the week/weekends. I care for pets by making sure they always have fresh water available and that they feel comfortable, safe, and happy in my care. During walks, I pay close attention to a dog’s body language and energy levels, and I adjust accordingly if they seem uncomfortable or overwhelmed. About: I've grown up around dogs and love spending time with them. I deeply miss my family dog who I always spoil when I visit. Outside of my family I regularly am my friends go to care taking/ walking person. I'm comfortable with dogs of any size except extra-large breeds. I can also give medication that's mixed into food, though I'm not set up for injections. I live with roommates who also have pet care experience in a quiet household. My schedule is flexible I work from home, so I can offer more consistent attention and some flexibility around visit times. My neighborhood has several parks nearby and is easy and pleasant to walk around, so walks are never just a quick lap around the block. I am currently working part time and am available for weekly or even daily times! My schedule will be updated regularly to reflect any unavailability ahead of time. My home is currently pet free and I have a large living room area they can explore around. Before any pets visit I make sure there isn't anything that they shouldn't interact with. I clean the space and check for any plants that may need to be moved around and I can keep them crated if needed too.

She cleaned his litter box and water fountain, brushed him, played with him, brought him toys, and consistently stayed longer than the time we had scheduled. She also sent us wonderful pictures and updates, which made us feel completely at ease while we were away. The best testament to how wonderful she was with Clyde was how calm and content he was when we got home. It was honestly as if we had never left. Serena is an excellent cat sitter who was willing to accommodate a last minute booking. She is very detailed in her updates on each session and was even willing to scoop litter and take out trash before we returned. She just clearly loves hanging out with cats and our boy loved his time with her. Highly recommend!
