Give me your hissy, medicated, high maintenance kitties! Hi I’m Val and I’m a cat lover. I’ve cared for cats my entire life (34 years and counting) and would love to take care of your kitties while you’re out of town! I can do the following: -Medications (shots, pills, liquids, topicals) -Specialized dietary needs (powders, toppers, etc) -Change filters on filtered water bowls -Light Grooming (brushing, front paw trims) -Litterbox maintenance -Can bathe cats if necessary (medical needs) -Will not judge you one single bit for being neurotic about your pet I have 3 cats, ages 5, 10, and 15. My 10 year old cat has severe allergies, so I have a lot of experience giving her pills, liquids, and shots. I also had to give her routine baths for a while, so I’m pretty good at that, too. My 15 year old is, well, old, and has health issues from time to time and sometimes pees/poops herself and also requires a bath. She also poops outside the litterbox and drags her butt on the kitchen floor. I tell you this to let you know that I’m happy to care for your cats no matter their medical status or age and will always clean up after them, judgement free. The 5 year old cat is a sour patch kid - sour then sweet - but I love her no matter her mood! She’s usually the reason for the scratches on my arm, but it’s my fault because I love to mess with her. I’ll love your cats too, even if they’re a little sour. Please reach out with any questions!

I also have cats and understand sometimes they throw up or poop outside the litterbox. I will always clean up any mess that I see/smell and will not leave it for when you get home! Cats enjoy a clean, calming home as much as humans do. Otherwise I will respect your cat's boundaries and give them pets if they want and will only pet with my eyes if that’s more their vibe.

Valerie took great care of our 6 kitties while we were away. It was a tall ask with lots of instructions. She handled it like a pro and was able to administer meds twice a day to our oldest, most skiddish boy. I felt confident that the kitties were in good hands.

Both our kitties had an awesome time while we were away thanks to Valerie! Luna even became best friends with her while we were away. Valerie as a sitter was a great communicator and asked questions for clarification when needed. She reached out to us twice a day with plenty of info and pictures of our kitties during feedings and play time. Everything on the checklist was taken care of perfectly, and we both really appreciate the care that she provided for our fur babies while we were away!! And so did they!!! Will definitely rebook in the future!
Highly recommend Valerie! She looked after our 3 energetic kittens for 2 weeks and was incredibly professional. Despite our kittens' mischievous nature, the house was still very clean when we returned. The photos she sent with every visit were a wonderful touch. Valerie is so great with animals. My cat is extremely skittish and takes time to warm up to strangers. Valerie earned Duchess’ trust quickly by respecting her space and letting Duchess approach at her own pace. Valerie is a responsible, rational, and reliable person.
Valerie is a highly professional, respectful, and compassionate cat lover. She has watched my feisty cat many times over the past six years and has always been wonderful. With three cats of her own, some of whom require daily medication, she has real experience handling pets with special or high-maintenance needs.
