“Arianna is amazing. My dog loves her so much and they seem to be having the best of time together. She is caring, patient and sends a lot of pictures to keep me updated. I know I don’t have to worry about my dog when he is with her. Such a pleasure to have Arianna as my dog sitter! I 100% recommend!”

“Melissa did some drop ins on our cats over Christmas week and it was a huge relief knowing we didn’t have to worry about them while we were gone. She cleaned the litter boxes, fed both of them, and gave one their daily medication. I would definitely book her again! Thank you Melissa!”

“Annaliese has checked in on our very shy kitty a couple times - she is one of the few people Lola will come out for. Great communication and detailed report cards. Awesome sitter all around :)”

“Serena was super attentive to my cats medication needs, provided ample playtime and connected with my cat while I was away. Her extensive experience with cats shows and I would definitely book her again. Serena did a great job.”

“Tawana took amazing care of my senior cat with health issues and navigated the various medications like an absolute pro. I am looking forward to working with her again.”

About: HI, I'm Liz. I love animals and being outside. I have experience caring for young and older dogs. Over my life, through friends and family, I've become friendly or gained the acceptance of several different breeds and mixes of terriers, labs, chihuahua, pit bull, poodle, and goldens. When my sister got her border collie Carla 14 years ago, I fell in love with this bright pup with boundless energy. As she grew into her own dog, her personality emerged more - her quirks, apprehensions, and joyful playfulness that she carried with her from puppyhood, to senior. From diaper pads, to diapers. I loved every opportunity I got to care for her. No matter the breed, energy level or age, I would treat your pup with the same enthusiastic care and attention I gave to Carla every chance I could. I am generally free in the mornings to early-late afternoon and some evenings. My other job is part-time with evening hours. I have a car, so can get to you easily. I am not available in the afternoon on Tuesday and Friday. I have a two-bedroom first floor unit, and no roommates. I am next to a park and there are several other parks and trails within a few blocks of me, as well as hiking trails in the Fells less than 2 miles away. I can have a cat overnight. I can provide care at my house during the mornings and early afternoons for one large dog, or two small dogs. For service at/from your home, I can provide care and companionship, walks and exercise, some medication dispensation, and some overnights for your pet.
“Was able to come a check in on my baby last minute before the storm! I got stuck out of the country and was not going to be home when I thought and she made sure he was okay. Thank you so much. A life saver!”

“Katherine went above and beyond in just a single visit. It was immediately clear how much she genuinely cares for animals, especially cats. Finding a trustworthy cat sitter can be surprisingly difficult, so we feel incredibly lucky to have found Katherine!”

“Natalie did a great job taking care of my cat while I was away. She was well cared for. Communication with Natalie was excellent in setting up the visits and during when any potential issues came up.”

“She was absolutely wonderful caring for our cats while we were away. She checked in reliably, handled everything we asked, and gave us real peace of mind while traveling. On top of that, one of our senior cats had an emergency during the visit, and she handled the entire situation with so much care, calm, and thoughtfulness. It was an incredibly stressful situation for us to manage from afar, and she was genuinely helpful every step of the way. Her care for animals is obvious, and we would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and dependable cat sitter.”

“Natalie is incredible! She not only spends time with my kitties but makes sure they are healthy and happy! She is so helpful with my Socket’s medical needs and makes me feel comfortable knowing they are well cared for while I’m away. Thank you again for another wonderful visit!”

About: I’ve had animals of all kind my entire life, from guinea pigs to pugs to rescue mixes, and everything in between. I’ve worked as a professional dog walker caring for up to 8 dogs at a time. I take great pride in treating all of the animals like my own! My goal is to work in pet care full time! I’m available Monday through Friday, any time between 8am and 5pm. I am also available on weekends if communicated in advance. I tailor my care to each pets individual routine to maintain consistency and minimize their stress. I am comfortable greeting dogs who have free rein of their home or dogs who are crated during the day. I would love to take your pet for walks, to play in a nearby park or yard, or just stop in for potty and snack breaks - whatever they need!
“Sabrina took great care of our old lady cat and gave her so many Christmas cuddles. We appreciated the detailed reports from each visit and knew that our cat was in great hands. Sabrina was very friendly and responsible and we'd love to have her watch Ms. Kitty again in the future. :)”

“Brittany was so wonderful to work with! She took care of my cat for a weekend and sent a thoughtful update after each visit. I'm so grateful and would definitely choose her again!”

Jenin is the absolute best sitter in the Boston area! My wife and I travelled for 9 days and selected Jenin to watch our 2 kitties. She was timely each and every day and shared great photos and a thoughtful recap each day. She even went above and beyond and stopped by extra times since she lived to close. She did not just come in, feed them, and leave. She took the time to figure out their personalities and build an actual relationship with our picky girls. We have a gecko as well and she checked on her to make sure her water was filled, which was not part of the gig! Also, we were delayed returning to the US and she stopped by 2 more times for us before we landed without even requesting us to book/purchase! She will be our GO TO sitter each and every time we travel!

Josh is a rockstar! This was his second time doing drop-in visits with my shy cat, and within a few days she was greeting him as he arrived and accepting not just pets but also brushing from him, which is astonishing for her! He’s clearly perfectly attuned to what cats need to feel safe and comfortable and I’ll be thrilled to have him watch my girl in the future.

I’ve booked with Szu yu before and can’t emphasize enough that she is reliable, communicative, and caring. I highly recommend her with your fur-babies. She visited my 3 cats 2x a day while i was out for the weekend, and I felt secure in that she’d keep them safe and cared for while visiting. Thanks, again, Szu yu!

Liz was amazing with our three cats! She was incredibly communicative and detail-oriented from the start. She came over to meet our babies beforehand and asked great questions, which made everything feel seamless while we were away. Our cats can get pretty anxious when we’re gone for too long, but Liz was so wonderful with them that we barely saw any of that anxiety this time. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. We would absolutely recommend Liz to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to look after their pets!

Emma was very helpful in coordinating logistics for watching our cats, and went above and beyond during the visits, even cleaning up some messes our cats made while we were away. She also sends nice visit summaries and photos of the cats after each visit. 5 stars!

Karina did drop-ins for our 2 cats while we were away for a few days and she was awesome! Very quick to respond, provided lots of photos and updates. Our cats warmed up to her very quickly which was huge! You can tell she really loves cats and has a lot of experience caring for them. Will definitely be booking her for future pet sitting needs!

Can definitely recommend Diana for cat sitting! She was patient, gentle, and attentive with my cat, and took the time to let her warm up at her own pace. I felt very comfortable knowing my cat was in good hands while I was away. Would happily book with her again!

Allison was absolutely wonderful! She is incredibly caring, kind, and attentive, and my cat Barbie loved her. She took such great care of Barbie while I was away and made me feel completely at ease knowing the at Barbie was in such good hands. Her updates after each visit were very detailed, helpful and sweet, and I especially loved all the adorable photos she took of Barbie! It was so reassuring to see how happy and comfortable Barbie was with her. I highly recommend Allison and will absolutely ask for her help again in the future. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of Barbie! ❤️❤️

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
