About: I love every kinds of pets when I was a little girl. I was always happy to see a cat even thought get scratched by one. My owe cat was a homeless cat found on the street in New Jersey and now he is a 20lbs fat cat happily live with me. And I take care of my mom’s dog a lot-he is a very playful Shiba Inu. I’m currently in a gap year so I have plenty of time to take care and play with your pets. I’m absolutely a responsible and caring sitter you can trust. As a very neat and clean person, I also have plenty of experience taking care of cats and dogs. I always make sure they’re comfortable, and take care of them in a way that never disturbs or bothers them.

“What an amazing experience this was! Karoll was so wonderful with my Diego. Communication was right on point with her. I was very nervous as this was my first time using the service. She answered all my questions before booking and was so responsive. Diego felt immediately comfortable with her. She sent us pictures while we were away on vacation. It was great to see that he was ok and doing well. He came back home healthy and happy. I feel so lucky to have found someone who made me feel so safe leaving him in her care.”
“Zelun was so good with our dog. We will definitely be using zelun in the future. He sent lots of photos and had great communication. He also brought Iggy on many adventures each day like the park and nice walks!”
“Amy took a great care of my dog! He usually gets anxious at new places, but I can tell he was very comfortable and had a lot of fun at Amy's. I appreciate meet and greet before the boarding, and the updates throughout!”

“Rachel did an amazing job taking care of Kaia for a week! She was super responsive, accommodating, and adored Kaia very much. Definitely felt like my pup was in great hands.”

“Jennifer was super responsive and communicative. I was up to date on what Teddy was up to! He also seemed very happy when I picked him up so he must have had a good time !”

“Tiffany did a great job watching our older dog, Jack for four days. She is very thorough, was great at communicating and sent daily updates and photos. And most importantly, when we went to pick him up, Jack was happy and healthy and seemed to have really enjoyed spending time with the other dogs. It's clear that Tiffany is passionate about caring for animals, and we'll definitely use her services again in the future.”

“Josiah and Arlene were AMAZING!! So glad to have found them. They were so sweet with Nova, very communicative, and so easy to work with. Nova absolutely loved his time with them and he can be a high maintence boy!! They handled him and his anxiety in crowds and gave him the best weekend!! Will definitely use them agaib”

“I am very glad I found John, as he was such a caring & attentive & calm sitter for slightly anxious dog. He gave routine updates & pictures to keep me informed of how things were going, & I can tell my dog had a very comfortable stay. I will definitely be booking John again!”

“I’m always extra worried when I leave Bear but I felt like he was in really great hands with Yuliet! She sent lots of great updates while I was away and he was a very happy boy! Would love to have Bear stay with her again sometime”

“I felt safe and comfortable leaving my dog with Kat! She was available for questions and provided frequent updates, my dog was sad to leave her house!”

“Brendan is incredible. He's watched our doggie twice and has taken immaculate care for her. He researched her breed to understand how she responds to things and what she needs and how she thrives. She was excited to go back and stay with him which really, really takes all of our stress and worry away and we were able to enjoy time on our vacation knowing she was in his hands being cared for. Brendan's just a great guy all around. We always have great little conversations and we look forward to seeing him every time. Just a totally great vibe with humans and dogs :) Thank you, Brendan!!”

“Christina was amazing! I booked last minute and she was eager to take care of Beru for the weekend. She sent lots of photo updates. Beru has some quirks and Christina was more than capable and happy to accommodate Beru’s personality. Would 100% book with her again!”

“Alex was amazing! Our friend couldn't take our 14yo poodle over the weekend due to a previous commitment, we had a conference to attend and time was running out. I found Rover.com and thought we'd see what it was all about. Thankfully the stars aligned and Alex's profile popped up as being close by and he was available. We scheduled a call to talk about Lucky. It was important to us to find the right fit for our 14 yo rescue. Once I read through Alex's reviews and talked to him, I knew he was definitely the perfect fit for us and Lucky. We set a visit so they could meet prior to our trip and Lucky immediately felt comfortable with Alex. Alex sent updates several times a day and a video of Lucky playing and going for a walk. He knew it was really me that was the nervous one ☺. Lucky had the time of his life, made a new friend and we definitely have Alex on speed dial now. Being able to find someone your dog immediately feels comfortable with takes a weight off your shoulders and knowing they're in good hands and having fun allowed us to attend our conference without worry. Thank you Alex - you rock!”

“Yet another great experience with Yesika! Communication is top notch and she was gracious and flexible with my schedule. I received so many great pictures that were a wonderful reassurance for me. My two dogs were very happy when I picked them up and are peacefully sleeping off their fun vacation with Yesika.”

“Svetlana did an amazing job taking care of Kaia! She absolutely adored Kaia and sent so many updates. We felt at ease and did not have to worry about Kaia during our time away.”

“Akhil and his family were absolutely amazing! This was my first time ever leaving my baby girl, Nala, with strangers, and they went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. They sent frequent updates, pictures, and even arranged a video call so I could check in on her. Nala is a rescued dog and tends to be scared of strangers at first, but they were so patient and thoughtful that they quickly won her over. She’s also a very picky eater, but they spoiled her with treats to make sure she ate well. I can’t thank them enough for the care and love they gave her. I will definitely trust them to take care of Nala again in the future!”

“Ilya was phenomenal with our dog Olive. He gave her a lot of attention, taking her on many walks every day. Olive typically goes on hunger strikes when we're away and that she ate so much of her food every day is the best testament to the care Ilya offers.”

“Patrick took great care of my dog over Thanksgiving. He was communicative during the planning process and while he was sitting my dog, he sent daily videos and updates. Highly recommend Patrick!”

Our golden retriever loves her time with Kimberlyn so much!! She’s spent many weekends with her and always comes home happy and tired from all the fun had. Kimberlyn is an excellent communicator and great about sending updates. We would absolutely book again with her!

I couldn’t be happier with how Rachel took care of our pups!! She sent pictures often, was super responsive throughout the whole week she had them and she was amazing at taking special care of my husky and all the medications she had to take as she was healing her paws. Seriously the best dog sitter of all time!!! An enormous thank you again Rachel from us, Chance and Kayla 🤩

Weronikka and her husband took care of my dog for five days and did an amazing job. I had never met her or even spoken to her on the phone, before, so I was pretty nervous. But even before I left on my trip, she made me feel comfortable. Her constantly positive communication gave me confidence that I had left my baby with the right person. I will definitely ask her to take care of Herbie again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
