About: My partner (Henry) and I love to watch dogs together! We have been surrounded by dogs our whole lives, from small picky eaters to large dogs that can run for miles. Growing up around dogs, we know that they are all different and respond to new people differently, but we have had positive experiences in taking care of family’s, neighbors’, and friends’ dogs in the past and have a ton of energy to do so. We love spending time outside and with dogs and have dog-sat before, including experiences wherein we did not stay in the owners’ home, but visited frequently to walk and feed their dog, and we have dog sat in our own home, so we are comfortable with adapting our services to any of your needs. We both have hybrid work situations, so one of us is always working from home at any given time and are used to being flexible with a pet’s schedule. We take care of pets like they are our own, in the past when we have boarded dogs in our home we have adapted to what the pet is and is not allowed to do (ie sleeping in the bedroom or not etc.)

My dog Richard was my best friend, and being apart from him during the war in Ukraine was heartbreaking, so I know what it feels like to worry about a pet you love. At home I try to make every dog feel like they truly belong with us, not like a guest we’re “watching.” I follow your instructions closely for meals, treats, commands, and any house rules you have, and I keep their routine as close as possible to what they know so they feel safe and relaxed. We live in an apartment in East Boston with my husband and our dog Millie, and we’re surrounded by great walking paths and dog parks, so pups still get plenty of fresh air and time to explore during our normal outings. Inside, they can rest on a cozy bed or hang out near us on the couch if that’s okay with you, and there’s always someone around to keep them company. I also love sending photos, short videos, and little updates during the stay, so you can see your dog’s happy face and feel calm while you’re away.

“Eddy has been doing an incredible job taking care of our 5mo old Vizsla! He has been able to be flexible in working around our schedule for pickup/dropoff on daycare days and for overnight boarding. He sends plenty of pictures throughout the days he has her to reassure us that our puppy was having fun and getting what she needs - we were honestly getting worried that she wasn't going to have missed us! When we get her back it's clear that she has gotten plenty of time to play and is usually out for the count most of the rest of the day. Definitely recommend going with Eddy if you have a dog that loves to play with other dogs!”
