I work M-F 7am-4pm, so I’m available to walk dogs or check in on your furry friends after I I get off during the weekdays, and available all day during the weekends. I have a dog and four cats. I’m unable to watch dogs in my apartment because of this, but I can housesit cats as long as you’re comfortable with them being confined in a bedroom! My experience as a vet tech has lent me to many skills in taking care of senior dogs, puppies, and those that need medications. I’m very comfortable with administering injectable and oral meds, as long as your dog/cat is cooperative!

About: I’ve had my own dog since early on in my childhood until adulthood. I started rover, when I still had my 11 year old golden retriever, he has recently passed away but I loved our daily walks and understand the need for a dog walker sometimes! I understand the needs of a dog and how dogs need attention. I’ve dog sat other dogs for my friends and have always been a dog lover since early on and love meeting new dogs! I am currently a full time registered nurse working nights. I will try to update my schedule on a regular basis as pet care would be worked into my days off & my schedule does vary every month! It was clear that Charlie was comfortable with her and very well cared for, which meant a great deal to us. I am so thrilled with my experience with Emily. This is only our second time using rover and we have a very energetic and unique 2year old dog so it can be nerve wracking, but she was understanding and amazing with him. She made note that he didn’t go to the bathroom on their walk so made sure to take him out again before she left which shows how much she cares. She also used some commands with him which is great for him to practice. She followed my directions on where and how to walk him and they played with his favorite toys.
