About: I have been a pet sitter in the Boston/Cambridge area for the past 2 years with experience working with cats, dogs, and birds. I largely work with cats and dogs that might need a little extra attention. Does your furry friend need medicine 3 times a day? I do that. Does your dog have leash aggression or very specific likes and dislikes? I’ve dealt with that too. Separation anxiety? Check! Senior dogs struggling with incontinence? I’m here to help. Currently, I offer house sitting (taking out trash, plant care, etc), drop ins, pet sitting (2-3 walks, medicine if applicable, feeding, play time), pet walks, and feeding. I can sometimes accommodate last minute bookings and am available most holidays, evenings and weekends. I love pets and will often spend a little extra time with them if you're worried about them being left alone. I offer pet sitting in my client’s home to keep pets in the environment they feel safest. Before pet sitting for the first time, I will always ask that we meet, take a walk or have a chat with your fur baby present so that we confirm it’s a good fit for everyone. I’m here to learn from you, not run in as an expert or an uncaring sitter.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my deep compassion, patience, and experience with dogs who need extra attention—especially those with anxiety or special routines. I have hands-on experience caring for senior dogs, puppies, and pets who struggle with separation anxiety. My own dog, Sasha, has anxiety, so I understand the importance of gentle care, consistency, and emotional support. I treat every pet like family, and I’m committed to creating a calm, safe, and loving environment while you’re away. Whether your pup needs long walks, slow introductions, or just a cozy lap to nap on—I’ve got you covered! Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I have Mondays and Tuesdays off, which gives me plenty of time for daytime walks and drop-ins. On other days, I’m able to fit in visits between school and work—and I don’t mind doing late-night drop-ins if your pet needs evening attention. Caring for animals is something I truly enjoy, so I’m happy to make it a priority in my schedule. I’m dependable, flexible, and always focused on making pets feel safe and loved while you’re away. I only offer pet care in the client’s home because I believe pets are happiest and most comfortable in their own familiar environment. I follow your pet’s routine closely—whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, or administering medication. I respect your space, keep things tidy, and make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. My goal is always to provide reliable, stress-free care that gives both you and your pet peace of mind.

About: I have tried to live life around as many animals as possible. Grew up with dogs and cats and now am a proud cat dad. I pride myself on being punctual, responsible, and caring. I have taken care of dogs for family and friends for years. Being a Rover customer has encouraged me to be the best possible sitter, walker, visitor that I could be. I respect people's boundaries and animal's boundaries as well. I would prefer to meet you and your pet before we confirm sitting or visits just to make sure everyone is comfortable(especially your pets!). I am currently working part time and have lots of available time to walk, sit, and visit your cats or dogs. I can do multiple visits per days in Somerville if need be. I would prefer to take time to meet you and your pets before booking. I fully understand the concerns of having people in your home and treat spaces like I would want my home treated. I'm happy to clean litter boxes per directions and would always put things (food, leashes, toys, etc..) back in their place as directed. if you were to be out of town and asked me to retrieve mail, monitor lights and other utilities I would do that to the best of my abilities as well. As someone who has had Rover sitters come visit my cat Pepper I appreciate that extra effort that many of them have put forth. I would also be happy to communicate all visits through the app or phones with pictures and quick updates.

About: I’ve spent my whole life around big dogs and am happy to take care of any breed and temperament. My friends and family have trusted me to pet sit countless times. This has included everything from pop in visits for Bernie the St. Bernard, five mile hikes with Phish the collie, and week long stays with Jaco the boxer. I’m comfortable with all types of dogs and look forward to meeting your pup! I work fully remote in Cambridge so my weekday schedule is relatively flexible. I’m available for walks/drop-ins from 7am-9am, again in the afternoon from 12pm-1pm, and in the evening from 4pm-9pm. I’m not available on the weekends. I’ll always be sure to sure to enter your home with a calm and respectful demeanor, making sure your dog feels comfortable. I’m very experienced walking large dogs and am confident in my ability to keep any dog happy and safe while walking. This includes reading a dogs body language to know when to remove your dog from an unsafe situation.

About: I supported and dog-sat a recently adopted dog from an abusive environment over the past four years. Happy to work with anxious dogs or dogs that need lots of quiet time and space. Patient with different needs. I work remotely on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays and can shift responsibilities around to visit before and after work and at lunch, or stay during the day to work. I'm very careful with cats or dogs that try to escape and experienced with keeping them in when I enter or exit. I'm watchful for dogs picking up food on walks and generally watchful for safety.

About: Spent extensive time caring after my families dogs & cats as well as the pets of my neighborhood. I also look after my friends cats and dogs of Boston and Maine. Comfortable with walking, playing with, feeding, and even some light training with dogs. I don’t have certifications with dog training but I would be happy to reinforce training you do with them for some light commands. I work in sales in a fairly fluid environment. I spend some time at home and the rest of my time around the city and greater Boston. Drop in pet care/walking fits perfectly into my schedule as I can work from my computer and travel when needed. I do have a fenced in yard but I’m not currently accepting pet care in my own home outside of the critters I already have. I may open up to this in the future but I do use a lot of space In my car already.

About: I have taken care of dogs as long as I can remember. I volunteered at my local animal shelter throughout middle and high school where I socialized puppies and took adult dogs out for stress relief. I take care of my parent’s dog, as well as neighbors and friends’ dogs when they are away. I’m the biggest animal lover in the world and would love to be a trustworthy friend for your dog until I can adopt one of my own! I do not work until 11am Monday through Wednesday and would love to help care for your dog these mornings or anytime on the weekends! I am extremely respectful and am committed to treating your dog like I do my own. I understand that every dog has their own needs and personalities, and I will always follow your preferences and requests to make you and your dog comfortable.

About: I've taken care of all kinds of dogs from young to old, big to small, lively to mellow, since I was young. I grew up with dogs in the household and moved on to dog-sitting for neighbors and friends. I have experience taking puppies to training school and working with food-oriented and play-oriented dogs. I'm currently working four days a week, typically through the weekend, so I'm happy to play with your pup anytime on those off days (usually Wednesday, Thursday and/or Friday).My My apartment sadly does not allow pets, but I am happy to take your dog out and about for a stimulating walk or play with your puppy at home.

I have spent several years volunteering at animal shelters, currently work as a paralegal at a firm that helps animal sanctuaries and rescues, and have a very flexible schedule. I have worked with several animals with a wide variety of personality types. I especially love pit bulls!!! I work from home, so I am very flexible! I am generally available before 11 am on all weekdays, and all day Tuesdays and Fridays. I am free on Thursday afternoons as well. I am incredibly gentle with animals and have experience working with several types of personalities, from enthusiastic to shy, from more aggressive to very anxious. I am familiar with animal body language.

About: I’ve had my own dog since I was young and have professional cared for dogs since I was 16. I absolutely love being around dogs, and I’m always down to play fetch or go for walks. Neighbors and family members have relied on me as a responsible, attentive caregiver. My schedule is really flexible. I’m comfortable staying overnight, and can work on a long-term or short-term schedule. I work remote, so I will be able to hang out with your pets all day. I am very respectful of my client’s space. I typically request a visit with a client before a job to go over all the info beforehand, and then I treat your home as if it were my own - keeping it clean, hanging out with pups.

About: I have had a wide range of dogs, cats and other miscellaneous pets throughout my lifetime and I have a lot of experience with taking care of them. I have trained both of my current dogs in basic obedience (sitting, laying down, come, stay etc). I have loved animals for my entire life, and enjoy taking the time to get to know the individual needs of each animal in order to best care for them. I have in-home dog sat several times before, and I am very attentive and able to cater to any need your pet has while walking, sitting or playing with them. I also used to volunteer at the animal shelter, and I took one of my dogs to a training class to learn proper care and techniques. My husband and I recently got a adopted a puppy and we did a lot of research and “on-the-job” learning of how to raise a well-behaved dog! I am a grad student preparing for a new year! This summer, I have the time to spend time with your pets! My schedule is super flexible and I am able to care for the needs of your beloved animal! My style of care varies a bit from pet to pet. I really enjoy training, and getting to know different animals. An important part of pet care, especially for dogs, is to make sure they have their mental and physical needs met. I am happy to spend time working with your pup (whether in training or socialization practices), exercising them, and making sure they have everything they need. I look to build a bond with the animal to make sure they feel safe as well!
