About: I've been a pet sitter for family, friends, and neighbors for many years. As someone who grew up with dogs and currently has several cats, I am skilled in caring for a range of dog sizes and animals with various personalities and needs. I work from home, which allows me lots of time to devote to animal care. I take daily evening walks and would love to take your pet with me. About: Growing up in TX and visiting family in India, I've spent a lot of time with animal friends - dogs, cats, goats, cows, chickens, and sometimes horses and monkeys(!). I've been pet sitting on and off for most of my life. I'm EMT-certified (for humans) and just love creatures and critters of all shapes and sizes. I work part-time and live in Somerville (seasonal assistant coach for the Harvard Women’s Varsity Volleyball team until early December playoffs) and we usually have practices from 4-6pm and run film a few times a week during the day. Some weekends we’re traveling for away games. I’m happy to work out best times to drop by! My sublease doesn’t allow pets, and I don’t love staying in someone’s home overnight when they’re not there for liability and safety reasons, but if you’re in dire straits we can definitely talk about it! I love going on walks and have a ton of energy, so I often feel like the doggos are taking me for a walk. Ha! We can talk about how much exercise they need, and where you prefer I walk them!!
About: I am a recent Simmons School of Library and Information Science graduate, work part time at a library the afternoons, and have been a part of the Somerville (Union Sq.) community since 2023. I've been walking dogs and caring for pets here and there since 2018, and regularly since summer 2025. My experience includes cats ages 1.5-16, dogs ages 10 months-15.5 years, and one rabbit, but open to watching other house pets with instructions. I am able to handle low-moderate difficulty dogs of all sizes, some reactivity ok. I have regular clients that I see for walks, in-house visits, and overnight stays. I am cat and dog first aid and CPR certified and for cats I am able to administer pills and inhalers (no injections). I love all animals, but have found that I am able to befriend most cats in particular. I am communicative with clients, and can send daily photos and pet reports upon request. I look forward to working with you and your pets! Outside of work and my current clients, I am typically available in the mornings 9:30-10:30 or earlier, evenings 5 or later MTW, 6:30 or later Thurs, and 3:30 or later on Fridays. I am able to travel about 30 min by walking or public transit from Union Sq. in the mornings, 30 min by walking or transit from Harvard Sq. or Union Sq. in the evenings, and will consider further locations on Friday afternoons and weekends (probably an hour from Union Sq. max.) I do not offer boarding in my home, but I have done multiple drop-in visits and overnight stays for cats, dogs, and a rabbit. I am tidy and respectful of the homes I visit, and am careful to leave doors locked when I am out. I am communicative and notify pet owners immediately if there are any issues or concerns.
About: I supported and dog-sat a recently adopted dog from an abusive environment over the past four years. Happy to work with anxious dogs or dogs that need lots of quiet time and space. Patient with different needs. I work remotely on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays and can shift responsibilities around to visit before and after work and at lunch, or stay during the day to work. I'm very careful with cats or dogs that try to escape and experienced with keeping them in when I enter or exit. I'm watchful for dogs picking up food on walks and generally watchful for safety.

About: I have had a wide range of dogs, cats and other miscellaneous pets throughout my lifetime and I have a lot of experience with taking care of them. I have trained both of my current dogs in basic obedience (sitting, laying down, come, stay etc). I have loved animals for my entire life, and enjoy taking the time to get to know the individual needs of each animal in order to best care for them. I have in-home dog sat several times before, and I am very attentive and able to cater to any need your pet has while walking, sitting or playing with them. I also used to volunteer at the animal shelter, and I took one of my dogs to a training class to learn proper care and techniques. My husband and I recently got a adopted a puppy and we did a lot of research and “on-the-job” learning of how to raise a well-behaved dog! I am a grad student preparing for a new year! This summer, I have the time to spend time with your pets! My schedule is super flexible and I am able to care for the needs of your beloved animal! My style of care varies a bit from pet to pet. I really enjoy training, and getting to know different animals. An important part of pet care, especially for dogs, is to make sure they have their mental and physical needs met. About: I am 26 years old and I have been dog walking and house sitting with dogs and cats since the age of 11. I grew up in a house with 2 dogs and helped out throughout all the puppy phases. In high school I had a chinchilla and 3 years ago I got my own cat, so I am now much more familiar with their needs (I found the show "My Cat From Hell" especially helpful). I have a lot of experience with both anxious and energetic cats and dogs. I can administer oral medications and will make sure your pet eats their whole meal. I am currently working from home, so schedule is very flexible just propose a day and time and I will let you know what works! I can only care for pets in other people's homes, my apartment is not pet friendly. I am very mindful of animal communication styles and am good at helping tentative animals come out to play.
