“Nicole was absolutely wonderful with our cat, Marx. Not only did she check in on him daily while we were away but she truly cared for him making sure he got plenty of attention, love, and mental stimulation in addition to the basics of food, water, and litter cleanings. Could not be happier in selecting Nicole to care for our family member.”

“Nick was great with our cat Delilah! He was very professional and came and met her ahead of time. She was very comfortable with him as we saw through many cute photos! We would definitely book with Nick again.”

“These gals are amazing! My puppy loves them. They always leave a great review of their tone with Cai, and the best pictures. Thank you Meagan and Morgan loving my pup and taking such good care of him!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have experience caring for both small and large breeds. Back home, I have two dogs—a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Samoyed—and I’ve spent years walking them, playing with them, and making sure they get the exercise, attention, and care they need. I’ve also cared for smaller breeds, including Shih Tzus, so I’m comfortable adapting to different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or just wants companionship, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I work in research at Brigham Women’s Hospital and usually finish around 3–4 PM, so after that I have time dedicated to pet care. On weekends, I’m available for the full day. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always respect their routine and follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications (if needed), and any special preferences. I understand that staying in a familiar environment helps pets feel comfortable and secure. I make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship while keeping the home clean and treating it with the same respect I would my own. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and worry-free while you’re away.

About: I grew up with dogs and have loved them my whole life. I've dog sat for friends and co-workers, including overnight stays, and always treat your pet and home with the utmost care. I take pride in leaving your home just as clean as I found it while making sure your pet gets plenty of love, attention, and cuddles so that you don't have to worry while you're away. I work remotely Monday-Friday with a flexible schedule that allows me to take breaks to care for your pet and give them lots of love during the day! I am able and willing to travel to you and take great pride in being a considerate, tidy, and responsible houseguest. My goal is to leave your home looking like it did before I arrived!

“Molly did a great job taking care of my girls! She was very thorough and had great communication. I came back to a clean apartment and happy cats :) 10/10 would recommend!”

About: I am a recent physical therapy graduate from Boston university and looking to make some money while I study and prepare for my licensure boards exam. I am great with pets and have many years of experience from undergrad and from taking care of friends and family pets. I have experience with big dogs from having one myself growing up, as well as cats and smaller dogs. I also know a little about animal physical therapy and can help your pets with stretches and daily exercise, although I am not licensed! i would love to help take care of your furry babies! I am free everyday and will mostly be using my time to study for my boards exam so I have plenty of free time to help take care of pets! My apartment does not allow pets but I am more than willing to take your pets on walks and come watch them at your home or check in on them to feed them and take them out.
About: I’m friendly, reliable, and love spending time with dogs. I’ve cared for family and friends’ pets over the years, including my family’s Goldendoodle, two dogs for a months long house stay, and several other dogs, cats, and even a gecko. As a graduate student in clinical psychology, I bring patience, kindness, and communication to every visit. I’m currently focusing on dog walking and drop-in visits and have a car. My graduate school schedule gives me flexibility, and I do my best to keep my calendar up to date. I’m also open to boarding an easygoing, well-behaved dog on a case-by-case basis. My goal is for you to feel confident that your dog is happy and well cared for. I’ll always keep dogs leashed on walks unless you’ve given other instructions. I’ll also carefully follow your care routine and send as many photo and text updates as you’d like.
About: Hi, I’m Emma! There is nothing I love more than nurturing and caring for pets who unconditionally love us. I have a very flexible WFH schedule and a desire to fill my day with some companionship. I currently work a remote schedule, with availability throughout the work week. Most weekends I am traveling, but may be able to accommodate if given notice. Able to adjust walking, play, and meal times to meet your pets needs. I can guarantee your pet will be in loving hands, with regular updates and photos
“Yaxin did a great job taking care of my cat. She is punctual and gives my cat some extra attention so he isn’t lonely while I am away. She is also extremely responsive.”

“Natalia saved the day when she agreed to a stop in visit with Angelina at the last minute. I am hesitant to leave Angelina for even a brief period with someone new. Natalia made me feel at ease and more importantly Angelina felt at ease! Thank you Natalia.”

“Alexandra was so great with Maker! She always included pictures from her visits and answered quickly when I messaged her for any reason. She was great! Occasionally a little late with scheduled times but that doesn't bother Maker at all so she was perfect for us!”

About: What sets us apart as sitters is that caring for dogs has always been a part of our lives. I grew up with a family dog, so from a young age I learned the importance of patience, consistency, and love when it comes to raising and caring for pets. My boyfriend, Jahn, shares that same love for animals and lives with me, so he’ll also be helping care for your dog. During college, we’ve continued to care for dogs—ranging from playful puppies who need extra training and attention to senior dogs who require gentle care, daily medication, and special routines. Because of this experience, we’ve become very attentive to each dog’s unique needs, whether that means reinforcing positive habits, providing companionship, or ensuring they get the right balance of exercise, rest, and care. We don’t just “watch” pets—we treat them like family and make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while their owners are away. I currently work from home three days a week, which allows me to spend a significant amount of time with my dog throughout the day. On the days I work in the office, my boyfriend, Jahn, who is a student at MPCHS, is able to come home from campus to check in, take our dog outside, provide fresh water, and spend time with him. Between the two of us, we have a consistent routine that ensures our dog is never left alone for extended periods and always receives the attention, exercise, and care he needs. Pet care is an important part of our daily routine, and we work together to make sure all of his needs are met. In my home, pets are free to roam around the apartment and make themselves comfortable. Whether that’s lounging on the couch or snuggling up in their favorite spot. I want them to feel safe, relaxed, and at home. I also make sure they get plenty of exercise and stimulation. We go to the dog park regularly, where they can socialize and play with other friendly dogs, including those of my friends who often bring their pups along. This way, your dog gets both companionship and fun in a safe, positive environment. Most importantly, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I make sure they’re cared for, happy, and loved while you’re away.
About: My name is Jane and I have always loved spending time with animals! I grew up with a cat, and have a high energy dog at home so I know how to handle when it comes to fast & fun walks! I currently work full time, but I love spending my weekends with dogs! I’m available Saturday and Sunday, with flexible times throughout the day. Please reach out with any questions! I enjoy spending time outside and making sure each pet is getting the exercise and time needed to feel healthy and happy during the day!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Brookline
Sydney is amazing!!! She has lots of experience working with dogs and it shows. Mine can be a bit rowdy at times but she had them sitting and calm within like a minute of being there! She’s super sweet and communicative as well. We would 100% use Sydney again. I had 0 concerns after meeting her and our experience was great!

Teylah is incredible! She watched our rescue pitbull Junebug while we were away for a few days, and was more than capable of handling June's anxiety, high prey drive, and reactivity with other dogs. She asked a lot of thoughtful questions when we first met and knew just how to make our senior dog feel comfortable. We loved all the photos and updates, and Junebug looked so happy! We highly recommend Teylah!

Nadia was absolutely amazing with our dog, Finn! From the moment i met her, we knew he was in great hands. She was incredibly caring, attentive, and kept us updated with photos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Came home to Finn happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It was obvious that Nadia treated him like he was her own. She went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable, exercised, and loved. I would recommend Nadia to anyone looking for a trustworthy, reliable, and genuinely caring dog sitter. We will definitely be booking with her again. Thank you, Nadia, for taking such wonderful care of Finn!

Megan was awesome! She took such great care of our dogs while we were visiting Boston, checking in on them, taking them for walks, and spending quality playtime with them. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were happy and well cared for while we explored the city. Her communication was excellent, with regular updates that made the whole experience completely stress-free. We truly appreciated her help and wouldn't hesitate to book with her again. Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
