“Nicole was absolutely wonderful with our cat, Marx. Not only did she check in on him daily while we were away but she truly cared for him making sure he got plenty of attention, love, and mental stimulation in addition to the basics of food, water, and litter cleanings. Could not be happier in selecting Nicole to care for our family member.”

“Zilalai was amazing!!! My very shy cats warmed up to her upon meeting on our meet and greet. She’s prompt to respond & followed our notes to the T! Will definitely book her again in the future :)”

“I had to take one of my cats to the emergency vet the night before a week-long vacation, and it was very reassuring having Isabel taking care of her while I was away - administering medication, and managing the surgical cone. Isabel did a great job handling the last-minute adjustment to the level of care that was needed, and was cheerful through the whole thing!”

“Nick was the best dog sitter! We had drop in visits scheduled, and he was so intentional with spending time with our pup on each one. We will definitely be booking with Nick for our next trip!”

About: I used to have a pet hedgehog and currently have a dog which I primarily took care of throughout Covid! Now that I am in college, I occasionally dog sit when I’m home. I have a lot of experience with different sized dogs that have various needs (medication, walk schedule, etc). I will be in Lewiston, ME between April 20th to May 31st and would love to pick up a few dog walks a week! I am a student at Bates College (living on campus) and will be taking a class Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10am-1pm starting May 4th. I can provide walks lasting from 30 minutes to an hour ideally before 10am. Evenings and afternoons also work depending on other commitments that day. I am also available to pet sit in the evenings as well (1-2 hours). My schedule is flexible, so feel free to propose what works best for you! I like to allow my dog to wander around the house whenever he wants (no cages). He likes to go outside in our fenced-in backyard, and we walk him 2-3 times a day depending on his afternoon mood. He is a very happy dog and loves to cuddle! He is also a big ball focused dog, so we love to play with him at the dog park!
About: I am a lifetime pet owner to a dog and cat, Truffle and Izzy. Aside from growing up with animal siblings, I have also worked as a dog walker, for large dogs, a doberman named Zeke, and small puppies, a Portuguese water dog named Cleo, and a range in-between. I have also house sitted for dog and cat owners. I am a college student waiting for the fall semester to start back up again, so I am largely free! I am an early riser so getting those morning walks is no probably! As well, I am available for boarding most days of the week. At home, I am all about playing and hanging out with my dogs and cats. Being with animals all my life has allowed me to know when things are getting too rowdy or when a dog or cat just wants some space. I'm all for fun and games unless there are rules that need to be followed. A counter that is off limits, section of house, or a specific nighttime routine, and I am not playing around but being stern yet gentle.
“Connor was amazing. She was reliable and I fully trusted that my fur babies were well taken care of while we were gone and enjoy our vacation. She provided daily pictures and updates! I’d book again.”

About: I grew up with both dogs and cats, and love them both! I have experience with animals who are friendly and anxious, and may need a little bit more attention. I work a very flexible schedule during the week, and am free on weekends. Evenings and nights are best for me, but I can come in on mornings too. I always aim to keep your pet as comfortable as possible, and want to keep the routine as normal as I can for them, whether that’s crating or frequent walks, or even just hanging out with them.
“I couldn't have asked for a better pet sitter for my cats! Alexa went above and beyond to make sure they were happy, well-fed, and loved while I was away. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. It's clear she genuinely cares about animals, and I returned to two very content kitties. I highly recommend Alexa to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and compassionate to care for their pets!”

“Emily was amazing. She took great care of our dogs and was very understanding and accommodating when unforeseen circumstances led us to booking at the last minute. Will definitely use again in the future and recommend her!”

About: My name is Jane and I have always loved spending time with animals! I grew up with a cat, and have a high energy dog at home so I know how to handle when it comes to fast & fun walks! I currently work full time, but I love spending my weekends with dogs! I’m available Saturday and Sunday, with flexible times throughout the day. Please reach out with any questions! I enjoy spending time outside and making sure each pet is getting the exercise and time needed to feel healthy and happy during the day!
About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals since I was 10. I can’t imagine my life without my dogs since they are a part of my family. I know how nerve wracking it is to trust someone with your pet, but it’s my promise to love them like my own and give them the care they deserve. I’m big on keeping pet parents posted with pictures and updates so I can take away that anxiety attached to being away from your pets. Pet care is integral to my daily routine. I dedicate time each day to exercise, feed, and engage with pets, ensuring their well-being. Weekly, I adjust activities based on individual needs. Even though I don’t currently have a pet, dogs have always been a part of my family. I take pet care seriously. I follow your pet’s specific routines, ensure their environment is safe and clean, and provide attentive care, including exercise and mental stimulation.
About: Outside of family pets growing up, I have experience raising, training, and caring for a golden doodle puppy at 23. I was also the partial caretaker for a rescue dog from 2016-2018. Since then I’ve taken care of roommates dogs, and have built a repertoire as a dependable pet sitter amongst friends. I love long walks and outdoor fun, but am just as happy being a couch potato pal. I am currently a full-time graduate student with this summer off, so i am generally available all weekdays and weekends. I occasionally will be unavailable due to travel, but no more than 2-5 days at a time. In my spare time i enjoy playing rec league volleyball, currently just once a week for a few hours. I believe in maintaining a calm and comfortable environment for your pets, especially if it is a first time interaction. Giving them time to warm up to a new person also allows me time to understand their temperament and what to avoid when caring for them. Pets understand their schedule and have habits and I’ll do my best to meet them where they’re most comfortable.
“Kayla did a great job with my dog, Archie! She is professional, courteous and follows directions. I’m always worried to leave Archie with sitters, as he needs extra guidance on walks. but Kayla handled him like she had been watching him for years. I look forward to hiring her again!”

Weijia did a wonderful job taking care of my dog! She was very responsible, attentive, and easy to communicate with. She kept me updated and made sure my dog was comfortable and well cared for. I really appreciated her help and would happily book with her again. Highly recommended!

Liza is a professional and we will certainly keep her in mind for any future needs. She was extremely attentive to the specific needs of our pups, ensuring that she had all the instructions/details ready to go before we even left for our extended trip. Her Rover cards/visits were thoroughly documented and her communication was top-notch, giving us the peace of mind we needed to enjoy our vacation. Our pups easily fell in love with her! She’s a no brainer to hire!

I needed last-minute care for my dogs, and they were incredibly helpful and responsive. Meaghan communicated well throughout the visit, and sent plenty of updates and photos, which gave me great peace of mind. Most importantly, my dogs were comfortable with her right away, and it was clear they were well cared for. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!

Veronica is absolutely amazing with my puppy! Shes reliable, caring, and keeps me updated throughout the stay, which gives me complete peace of mind. It was obvious she genuinely loves animals and treats my dog like her own. I come home to a happy, well-cared-for dog, and I won’t hesitate to book with her again. Highly recommend Veronica to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog sitter!

Gabriel was wonderful with my pups! He was very communicative and flexible with my whacky schedule, and he took the time to come over in advance to meet them first and introduce himself so they wouldn’t be meeting a strange for the first time during their drop in. I can’t recommend him highly enough!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
