About: I love all furry friends - I have a lovely cat, and I enjoy taking care of my friends’ puppies short or long terms. Taking them to long walks is my favorite part! I work on a flexible schedule, so I’m available on most weekday mornings or afternoons. I’d be ou-of-town on some weekends so pls let me know what’s your schedule like if pup needs walks on weekends! I have leashes (non-retractable) for small and medium dogs. I’m confident keeping pups of these sizes safe from traffic / other animals all the time. It’ll definitely be a plus if your pup know some commands!
About: Proud dog-owner for the past three years! Grew up in a house cosplaying as a petting zoo- cats, frogs, dogs, hamsters, you name it! Extremely flexible, willing to adapt, and excited to get to know your pets! Just a teacher trying to make enough money to have a career of not making enough money #fortheloveofthegame I currently teach full-time, so evenings and weekends provide the most availability. However, with summer around the corner, my availability will be expanding! After mid-May, I will have availability from 3:30 PM onwards. I currently live in an apartment in West Harlem with my 4-year old mutt. She warms up to most doggos, but an intro would be necessary! The apartment is near multiple parks, and I am located in a walkable area.

About: My family has always kept animals-horses, cats, dogs, and anyone else who needs a home. I love animals of all kinds and am a pet owner myself, so I understand the importance of providing quality care to your animal. I am a full-time graduate student with primarily evening classes, so I have lots of flexibility to take care of your pet(s)! I am available on the weekends for overnight stays and can be available during the week as well. Your pets safety and happiness always comes first. From providing care that suits your animals unique personality, to ensuring safety , I do everything I can to keep your pet happy and safe.
“James was an excellent caregiver for my cat. He came over early to see the house and meet Finbar, sent nice updates and pictures. I would be happy to use his services again.”

“Asmahan has been great! She was very understanding that our anxious dog takes a few visits to warm up to new people. She was patient and had great instincts with our pup. We are looking forward to continuing to hire her in the future!”

About: I have raised dogs and cats since I was a kid. I've done everything from bottle feeding to crate training to grooming and administering medication. I work full time and have a partner who is around during the day. I have a very well kept schedule of making sure the animals are well cared for in the morning and taken care of in the evenings. I have an unfenced yard in a culdesac, the neighbors are very friendly and I take care of the yard to make sure it is free of anything that might be dangerous
“Jessica was great! Booked a drop-in with short notice. She was responsive, flexible, and showed a care and understanding for my pooch's well-being as well as any concerns I had”

About: Dogs have been a constant part of my life, as I’ve grown up with 2–3 dogs in my family. Being around and caring for them has always been something I genuinely enjoy. As a teacher, I’m also looking for a way to earn some extra income, and I know that spending time with animals is something I find relaxing and rewarding after a busy day. I’ve dog-sat for family friends on multiple occasions, including caring for dogs with specific routines and tight feeding schedules. I understand how important it is to stick to a pet’s normal routine so they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away. I’m responsible, patient, and attentive, and I truly enjoy spending time with dogs. Whether it’s going for walks, playing, giving them plenty of attention, or simply keeping them company, I want every dog in my care to feel safe and loved. I’m also comfortable following specific feeding instructions and making sure pets receive the care and attention they need throughout the day. For me, pet sitting isn’t just about making sure a dog is fed and taken care of—it’s about treating them like family and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I am currently working a M-F work schedule. Monday: 7:30-1:30 Tuesday: 7:30-4 Wednesday: 7:30-5 Thursday: 7:30-4 Friday: 7:30-4 When caring for a pet in a client’s home, I make it a priority to keep their normal routine as consistent as possible. I’ll follow any specific instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and other daily routines. I know that pets can feel more comfortable when things stay familiar, so I do my best to make their time without their owners as stress-free as possible. I’m also respectful of my client’s home and will make sure everything is left clean and as I found it. I’m happy to provide updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind while they’re away. My goal is to care for every pet as I would my own.
“Kay did a nice job with drop in visits for Ted. She sent plenty of photos with her very detailed updates, and was always very responsive to messages. Will definitely use her services again.”

“Sarah did a wonderful job looking after our two cats. Her updates were very detailed and really helped in letting us know how things were going back home. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter”

About: I’ve had pets my whole life of all breeds and sizes. I’ve pet-sat for neighbors and friends and helped many with training their own fur-babies. I travel a lot for work, so my weekly schedule varies, but if I'm in town, I'm happy to visit your babies on whatever schedule works best for you! I care for pets as if they were my own in amount of love and care they receive, but the way I handle them depends on the owner’s preferences and the routines they’re used to!
“Sarah was excellent! She was very prompt and thorough in all of her communication leading up to and during the drop-in visit. She took great care of our dog. I highly recommend Sarah!”

About: Hi there, my name is Jose and I am so excited to meet you and your dog. I have cared for and looked after my own dogs as well as the dogs of friends and neighbors for most of my life. Your dog will be begging to stay with me because I strive to understand the needs of each dog on an individual basis and give 100% effort to make sure those needs are met. I love dogs and I love learning as much as I can about them. I constantly study and learn new things about dog behavior and implement them when possible using positive reinforcement methods. I have handled dogs of all sizes, breeds and energy levels. I love dogs because of their boundless enthusiasm and love for even the simplest of things. Your dog will love me because I give tons of attention, playtime and belly rubs! You can rest assured that I will treat your dog like if it was my own! I don't just love dogs, but enjoy spending time with all animals. I've cared for cats, domestic birds like Parrots and Canaries, turtles, rabbits, fish and even horses! Animals fascinate me and I definitely describe myself as an animal lover. So if you have other creatures that need care from someone experienced, I can help you with them too! I'd love to meet you and your dog to discuss your individual needs. Let's set up a meet and greet so we can learn more about each other!
“Absolutely Amazing! Tanya took care of our cat while we went to Spain for Christmas and New Years. She is extremely responsible, trust-worthy and really good at communicating! She even took out our trash for us! Would totally recommend to anyone. Thank you, Tanya✨?️”

“Deirdre took amazing care of my dog and cat while I was away for the weekend. She was timely, reported every trip and even sent along photos to show my animals were in good care! When there was a medical situation, she informed me which made me feel like my pets were in good hands. Will definitely be using Deirdre for my pet care needs in the future!”

About: I grew up surrounded by pets. Both my neighbor and my grandma had cats that loved to explore the outdoors, so I spent many summer days playing and exploring with them. During quarantine, my cousin got an Australian Cobberdog named Rosie. When they were away, I would frequently volunteer to be the one in charge of caring for her. In recent years, when my friends were away they would trust me to walk and take care of their pets. Over the years I have gained a lot of experience caring for cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes, and am so excited to meet your pet! During the months of May-August I am situated in Newton MA. During the months of September-April, I split my time between Amherst MA where I go to school at UMass and Newton. I think pet care is a two way street. I can only provide my best care if I know your pets needs. I preform my best when I know everything I need to know about your pet.
“Grace is awesome! She is very communicative and happily worked with my random schedule. I couldn’t be happier. And my dog loves Grace as well. He is all about people but he knows his favorites and Grace is one of them. She is great to work with!”

Angelica was totally great with my very sensitive pup who was anxious due to a recent move. She came by to meet us first then was very detailed and caring in all her visits and gave thorough accounts. My dog became much calmer. I will hire her again and highly recommend Angelica.

Lily is reliable and attentive. Lily's calm energy matched Burt's high puppy energy. Lily supported and followed the rules, always engaging and asking for clarification to give Burt the best experience. He absolutely adored Lily. Highly recommend having Lily be with your dog.

It’s hard to tell who has more fun when Megan walks Clare! Today, they explored far beyond what I booked Megan to do. We ‘ve been relying on Megan for two walks each time we call on her, and she’s very responsible, considerate, and loving to Clare, always adding tummy rubs and topping off her food and water before she leaves.

Kyra did a great job caring for my two cats, sometimes coming twice a day to feed, water and litter. Kyra also gave ear drops to Nike who had an infection. She sent pictures and was in contact, and I think the cats really liked her. I trust her and would certainly book Kyra again.

Jamie was absolutely wonderful! This was my first time booking with her, and I left what felt like a million notes and instructions. Jamie took the time to read every single one and followed them so thoughtfully and carefully. It was clear from the start that she genuinely cared about providing the best possible experience for both me and my pet. She was kind, attentive, communicative, and incredibly detail-oriented throughout the entire stay. Knowing that someone took the time to understand all of my routines and preferences gave me so much peace of mind. I am so grateful for the excellent care Jamie provided and would absolutely book with her again without hesitation. Highly recommend!

Natasha was Great! She watched over our 4-month old puppy while we went out on our own for the first time. She got him through the whining and right into playing, training and resting. She took pictures, and gave us a thoughtful report on what she saw, based on her experience in training dogs. Highly recommended!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
