About: I love all furry friends - I have a lovely cat, and I enjoy taking care of my friends’ puppies short or long terms. Taking them to long walks is my favorite part! I work on a flexible schedule, so I’m available on most weekday mornings or afternoons. I’d be ou-of-town on some weekends so pls let me know what’s your schedule like if pup needs walks on weekends! I have leashes (non-retractable) for small and medium dogs. I’m confident keeping pups of these sizes safe from traffic / other animals all the time. It’ll definitely be a plus if your pup know some commands!

About: I’ve had cats since I was 8 years old. With the 16 years of experience with cats, I believe every fur baby needs a home away from home. Like with every pet parent, I strive for the best with my cat. If you choose me to watch your fur baby, I will provide the best and safest environment for them. Do they need a room to themselves? You got it. Has explosive diarrhea? I have cleaning supplies. Medical issues? Another way to keep me on my toes. I hope you consider me as a prospective aunt to your kitter cat or doggo and can’t wait to fill up my camera role with adorable pictures. I look forward to hearing from you 💕 I am a grad student at Brandeis University. My classes are usually over by 2 pm, so after then I’m usually at my apartment caring for my cat and completing schoolwork. So needless to say, I have a lot of flexibility within my schedule for your pets individual needs. If I am doing home visits, I would like to visit the clients home a day or two prior to the arranged visit(s) to understand the animals needs and to see if we would be a good fit. I believe it is important to establish an understanding with the animal in question before I frequent the premises so there isn’t any unnecessary stress for your pet. In regards to boarding, I have a medium sized apartment that would be good for any cat or small-medium dog. There are multiple grassy areas for bathroom breaks and walks around the premises. You will have to provide me with your animals usual schedule (times for bathroom breaks, when and how much time are committed to walks, feeding times, etc.) so I can build my set around them and their needs

About: Hi there! I’m an experienced dog care provider dedicated to giving local pups the absolute best care. With professional experience co-owning a pet service business and years of hands-on dog handling, I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own. My main priority is making sure your pup stays safe, comfortable, and right on schedule for their visits. Whether we’re out on an energetic walk, dropping in for mealtime, or relaxing during an overnight stay, you can count on clear communication, prompt updates, and plenty of cute photos. Looking forward to connecting with you and your pup! Pet care is a core part of my daily routine. I build my schedule around consistent walks/visits, feeding times, and any special instructions so pets are never rushed or squeezed in. Throughout the week, I keep communication steady with updates and photos, and I stay organized with notes to keep each pet’s routine consistent from day to day. I care for pets the same way in any space: safely, calmly, and according to their routine. In a client’s home, I follow your instructions closely for meals, walk/play schedule, and house rules. I keep everything clean and secure, and I send clear updates and photos each visit. In my home (for boarding), I provide a calm environment, regular potty breaks and exercise, close supervision, and a consistent routine with the right balance of attention and downtime based on your pet’s personality and energy level.
“Cassie was amazing, she is a loving caring young lady. If I could give her 10 stars I would. I highly recommend her. She took excellent care of my puppies with lots of love and fun. She also took great care of my house so all I had to do when I came home was to love on my puppies and unpack and relax.”

About: Hello! I live by the Charles River in Watertown. I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule so I enjoy dog walking and pet drop-ins for pure joy. If you book with me, seeing your pet will be a highlight of my day. You can count on me when it comes to communication with you and love for your baby. I bring toys and treats, and can work with shy furry friends. Follow my journey at maggiewalksthe617 on Instagram I work full time from home in HR as a comp analyst. My schedule is very flexible. I want to schedule walks adhoc during the day or after work! When entering a clients home I will treat the area with care, make sure to lock up, check for water for the animal. I will do my best to find an appropriate outdoor/garage trash for the waste as well.

“Alison treated our cat very well while we were away. She was able to give him his medicine with no issues and sent us lots of photos of them playing. Our cat can be a bit feisty, so it was great to see her manage him so well.”

“longfei and Luning are so helpful taking care my cat. Everything is done professionally and friendly. Most importantly, she seems to be happy. Will definitely recommend!”

About: I’ve loved animals my whole life. I got my first dog when I was 10, and I’ve always had cats growing up. Over the years, I’ve cared for friends’ dogs while they were away or needed occasional help, and I even took in a friend’s Husky for an extended period. I enjoy going on walks and have a great walking path right next to my apartment, so your dog will get plenty of exercise and attention. I treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I am a high school dean throughout the school year and am on break all summer! I will be home for the next few weeks and can be completely dedicated to your pet! Once the school years starts I am back home by 3:30pm and stay home for the most part. I live alone in a quiet, pet-friendly apartment with no children or other pets, so your pet will have my full attention in a calm, safe environment. My home is cozy and secure, making it a comfortable place for pets to relax. I always follow each pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions you provide. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space with respect and make sure their pets feel comfortable by keeping their routine as consistent as possible.
“She was absolutely wonderful with my babies! She paid close attention to all of my instructions and took great care of Moonlight and Luna. She spent time playing with them, kept everything neat and tidy just the way she found it, and even replaced the paper towels she used. Overall, she was such a thoughtful and reliable sitter.I’ll definitely book her again if she’s available!”

“Had a pre meeting prior to the visits to get to know us and make sure we are a good fit. Appreciated that. Highly recommend Traci. She is wonderful. Provided feedback, photos and was consistent. Thanks will use her again.”

About: While I don’t have my own pet, I have been around and taken care of dogs quite often. I regularly take care of all my loved ones’ cats and have had cat sitting jobs as well. I’m a responsible and reliable doctoral graduate who will do a good job, and be sure to keep solid communication with clients! I currently work and study full time from home. I am quite flexible with my schedule and can often help out on weeknights and weekends too! I have an unfenced large yard as well as a large house. I can go on runs, (I’m an avid runner who ran cross country and track in high school!) and I absolutely love playing with dogs. My neighborhood is very friendly for dog walks, with fellow dog walkers around! I don’t have a dog or other pets, so no interactions would disrupt dog-sitting. I have three roommates who can give the dogs extra love :)
“Ilana was an amazing cat sitter to our two cats. One of them required medical attention unexpectedly and she was so supportive and communicated with us every step of the way. She went above and beyond, even gathering extra supplies as the cats needs changed. Our family was so grateful that we had such great cat care while we were traveling internationally.”

About: I’m not just a dog lover—I’m a proud dog mom of 9 years! I know how much your pup means to you because I feel the same way about mine. I bring the same care, attention, and love to every walk and drop-in as I do with my own dog, Dobby. I currently have a hybrid work schedule and work from home Mondays and Fridays. So Mondays and Fridays are pretty open. Tuesdays and Thursdays I would be available after 6pm so please feel free to message me if interested. Weekends I am available! When I drop in to care for your pet, I treat your home and your furry friend with the same respect and love I give my own. I always follow your care instructions closely—whether that’s feeding, potty breaks, playtime, or medication. I keep things calm and comforting for your pup, so they feel safe and happy.

About: Hi there, my name is Jose and I am so excited to meet you and your dog. I have cared for and looked after my own dogs as well as the dogs of friends and neighbors for most of my life. Your dog will be begging to stay with me because I strive to understand the needs of each dog on an individual basis and give 100% effort to make sure those needs are met. I love dogs and I love learning as much as I can about them. I constantly study and learn new things about dog behavior and implement them when possible using positive reinforcement methods. I have handled dogs of all sizes, breeds and energy levels. I love dogs because of their boundless enthusiasm and love for even the simplest of things. Your dog will love me because I give tons of attention, playtime and belly rubs! You can rest assured that I will treat your dog like if it was my own! Animals fascinate me and I definitely describe myself as an animal lover. So if you have other creatures that need care from someone experienced, I can help you with them too! I'd love to meet you and your dog to discuss your individual needs. Let's set up a meet and greet so we can learn more about each other!
“Amy was incredible! Very communicative and responsive. She really went above and beyond to take great care of our senior cat while we were away :) We are so grateful and would 10/10 recommend!”

“Melissa took excellent care of our two kitties while we were away for vacation! She not only gave them plenty of attention and cuddles, but also worked to keep our place tidy. I would ask her to take of our kitties again in a second!”

About: I have been around dogs all of my life, once I was able to properly hold a leash there was no stopping me from hanging out with our 4-legged furry friends! I am a frequent dog walker for coworkers, friends, and family. I also have dog sat on multiple occasions for coworkers, friends, and family whenever they needed me. Most importantly I rescued a very active and very spoiled French Bulldog 6 years ago and he has made my love for dogs even stronger somehow! As much as I love dogs, I also love cats! I will make friends with any sort of animal if I am able to! I work a hybrid schedule for a corporate office. I am in the office on Tuesdays & Wednesdays, and I work from home the other 3 days. Monday, Thursday, Friday I take personal walks on my lunch break as well as after 5pm and would love for a furry friend to join me! Saturdays & Sundays I am open as well! Happy to walk your pup wherever in the neighborhood or area, we'd get out steps in! I have walked dogs in the past ranging from 15lbs, all the way up to 120lbs!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
