“Thank you Hong and Yuen for being so kind and understanding of Brady’s health needs. Thank you for administering his medication and tolerating his skin issue. And thank you for communicating so well during his stay. I give you the highest recommendation! Michele”
“Where do we begin...this was a hard choice when trying to find someone to watch our fur baby for 6 days. He got to know Barb and a visit to her home for a meet and great. Then another visit for half a day. He was in heaven. Barb sent photos throughout the day. He was in a good mood and not anxious at all. Then we left TicTac in her care for 6 days. So many pictures came to us. He definitely has made new friends and was cared for so well. I highly recommend Barb 🌟”

“Kira was excellent with communication and sent many updates with how Jasper was settling into his first stay. She was extra accommodating with a last minute request.”

“It was super easy to coordinate with Robert and Jen. First off, they asked good questions about Booster to ensure they were a good fit, which I really appreciate. They were also very communicative and sent lots of pics during his stay 🩷 He’s a senior pup on a couple meds so it’s hard not to worry about him but I’m thankful for their level of care and patience.”

“Lee and family were amazing with our dog! Great communication and he was very comfortable with them. We already have our next stay scheduled! Highly recommend. Thanks for taking such good care of him!”

“Kristina was great with my 3 month old puppy. This was the first time I boarded her so I was nervous. But all my fears went away quickly. Her dog was great with my puppy and I received several photos and videos during her stay. Will be using again!”
“Gomer had a great time staying with Holly and having River as a play/house mate! Gomer was exhausted when we got home and I could tell he had fun staying for one night at Holly's. I so appreciated how Holly kept me updated on Gomer, was extremely responsive and overall, a pleasure to meet. I definitely plan to call Holly again for Gomercare!”

“When we picked up our pup, you could tell her really enjoyed his time with Yulia and her family. He was happy to see us, but I'm pretty sure he would have been equally happy to stay with them. We will certainly be using Yulia's services again in the future.”

“It was totally comforting to have Lucy stay with Whitney and her husband. They were very nurturing, and very flexible with my timing. Lucy had a wonderful time there, and they treated Lucy like she was one of her own.”

About: I have extensive experience caring for cats from kittens to seniors, including administering oral medications. This includes my own cats and also family/friend cats. I have my own rescue pit mix dog who has needed some patience to build her confidence and I’m proud of the work we’ve done together in the 1+ years together. I’ve also worked as a kennel assistant handling meal times, medication, day cares, walks, and clean up. I have always loved pets, from hamsters up to big 100 lbs dogs. I will treat your baby with love and respect and understanding of their needs. I share pet care duties with my Fiance John who grew up with dogs and cats in his household and takes care of our two cats and rescue dog with me. We both work full time but I only work 4 days a week and John works 5 days but leaves later and gets home earlier than me. I handle the morning chores including pet meals and Phoebe’s first walk of the day. John handles the second walk of the day when he gets home from work and the second mealtime then. Night time, Phoebe always gets a walk before bed and cats get their last meal. On weekends and free days off together (I always have a 3 day weekend) Phoebe usually gets a trip out to a park, trail, or beach where she can either roam and get her running in. Phoebe gets playdates often with her dog besties who live nearby. Phoebe is crate trained and we have an extra crate on hand too as needed. Currently Phoebe and the cats roam free together when we’re at work because they’re trustworthy now but if a guest comes, we can separate rooms easily and use crates. In other clients homes, I will always follow the rules of the house. Dogs and cats alike will get lots of enrichment, walks, and playtime so everyone is satisfied and comfortable.
“Kim was wonderful with our dog Ziggy. She treated him as if he was part of her household! I received beautiful photos of him playing with her dog, her walks in the woods, and of him sleeping. I definitely recommend Kim. She has a caring way with her own dogs and my dog immediately seemed comfortable with her and them. Kim made me (and Ziggy) feel feel cared for!”

“We left our dog for an extended 11 day trip. We were worried about leaving our sensitive rescue pup, but Tomoe and her family couldn't have been more welcoming and loving to our dog. We received tons of great pictures and videos throughout the stay, and Tomoe made sure to provide lots of exercise for our sporty breed. We know we can always leave Cedar with someone who will treat him as we would. Thanks so much , Tomoe!”

“Betsy was a great sitter - very thorough and careful in getting to know my dog’s preferences and letting him see her very nice home and yard! Easy to communicate with and my pup seemed super happy :)”

“Our dog Gus has stayed with Sue many times and he absolutely adores her! Almost as much as we do :) She is amazing with him and we always know he’s in great hands when he spends time at her house.”

“Andy did a great job caring for Wally! He was very communicative and sent lots of updates. Wally had lots of walks, playtime, and time spent relaxing—and came back home a very happy pup! I highly recommend Andy!”

“Another wonderful experience booking with Chuck. Took great care of our cat, Binx, and followed all instructions to the letter with plenty of communication and updates during the trip. We came home to one very happy cat, which is always unusual but amazing for Binx! Thank you again, Chuck! We will definitely book again! :)”

“Sandra has taken care of our cat a couple times now and has always done a great job. She’s very caring and our cat clearly really likes her too judging by all the pictures we received. Our last booking with Sandra was a longer one and we felt our little cat was in great hands and didn’t need to worry about her much at all.”

“Perfect just as expected! Flawless work, and Koshka and us are very grateful for Kathleen’s punctuality, responsibility, care and going an extra mile with no questions asked. Very much appreciated.”

“I had a great experience boarding my cat for a last minute weekend away. They made sure my cat was comfortable with a separate room (since he has dietary restrictions), equipped with a cat tree, bed, bowls, and litter box. They were able to administer his medications easily. Communication was consistent & I got photo and video updates throughout. I was able to have an anxiety free weekend and my cat got a vacation too! I will definitely book next time I need a sitter.”

“We got detailed daily updates on the cats and Rilee was very communicative and consistent with timings of check ins. The cats were happy and healthy when we returned.”

“Royce was absolutely exceptional! Our cats, Mo and Kip, absolutely loved her and she was able to quickly make our very shy cat, Mo, feel comfortable. She was also very responsive, sent great updates and photos and was flexible to come for an additional visit when our flight got cancelled. We would definitely recommend using Royce for your next week/weekend away!”

“So grateful that we were able to find Caroline last minute! She was attentive and did a great job of taking care of our cat. We appreciate the pictures that Caroline sent and are looking forward to having her over again!”

“My cat loves Alyson and so do I! She took such great care checking in my 2 year old cat. She fed, cleaned, and played during the time I was away. She made sure everything was taken care. She was super communicative and easy to chat with while setting up details as well. Will rebook!”

About: I've taken care of cats for many years for people around my neighborhood and friends. I have experience with very social kitties and more independent ones as well. I'll play with them, pet them or just feed them, whatever floats their boat.

About: Along with growing up with two dogs and helping to raise a puppy as a teenager, family friends and neighbors have relied on me to take care of their dogs and cats since I was ten. As a regular volunteer at cat shelters, I have worked with cats with special needs (i.e. cerebellar hypoplasia and hyperthyroidism), and those with behavioral issues. As a student on the pre-veterinary track, I have shadowed and volunteered at vet clinics to better understand the care that goes into your pets' health, as well as cat body language and low-stress handling. Besides dogs and cats, I also have experience with a myriad of animals, such as hamsters, rabbits, chinchillas, guinea pigs, mice, fish, hermit crabs, geckos, snakes, tortoises, and turtles. I have experience in preparing special diets for pets and other animals with specific health needs, and in senior dog care.
About: I am a responsible and dedicated pet caregiver with hands-on experience. I take care of my 4-year-old dog, ensuring she is healthy, active, and happy. I enjoy spending time with animals, whether it's playing, walking, or attending to their basic needs like feeding and grooming. My experience has taught me the importance of patience, attention to detail, and providing loving care to pets. I understand how valuable it is to keep them comfortable and safe, and I strive to offer the best care possible to every animal under my responsibility. I work part time so I am mostly free in the mornings and evenings Monday 9-2; 7-9 Tuesday 9-2; 7-9 Wednesday 9-11:30; 7-9 Thursday 9-2; 7-9 Friday 9-2; 7-9 I can also do weekends if available Whether it’s walking, feeding, or playtime, I treat every pet as if they were my own. Their happiness and your peace of mind are always my goals. I understand constant supervision ensures pets are safe during playtime, feeding, and rest. Also, I take time to understand each pet’s unique personality, needs, and preferences.

“Michelle is amazing!! She looked after our two cats for a week and was so good to them. They can be anxious when we’re away and Michelle was very caring and attentive to their needs. She was also highly communicative from the moment we first got in touch and throughout our time away, sending us detailed updates and lots of pics and videos of the cats, so we never had to worry. She went out of her way to spend lots of time with them and take care of things around the house that we didn’t even ask her to! We really appreciate her doing such a thoughtful and thorough job, and look forward to hiring her again. Highly recommend!”

“Cassie was so wonderful with both our cats! She was very attentive to their needs and followed the guidelines we left for them. She gave us updates on them both. They were well taken care of. Cassie did an excellent job and we will hire her next time to care for our cats. We highly recommend this young lady to care for your pets.”

“Yi W. Was very responsive and took great care of Duke. She was also very open to my guidance about Duke’s needs and routine. She sent regular updates and photos. I recommend her and will take Duke back to her.”

“We use Caroline regularly and she’s an intuitive pet care provider that’s responsive to what your pet needs while respecting the wishes of the owners. Would not hesitate to recommend!”

“I highly recommend Ling & Ye...they were fantastic! Our schedule was more dynamic than we had intended and they were very flexible. Our boy Riley, 1-year old Golden, had great time and can't wait to get back to see his new friends!”

“I’ve known Junho and his adorable dog Boki since Boki was just a tiny three-month-old puppy, back when we first met in our apartment building. Over the years, I’ve seen how much care Junho gives to Boki, and how gentle and kind he is with other dogs he meets on their walks. When Junho started Rover, I knew right away that I could trust him with T-Rex. My dog requires extra care and attention due to specific conditions, and Junho followed all of my instructions thoroughly. He even sent me multiple photos and updates without me having to ask, which gave me so much peace of mind. If you’re looking for a sitter, I highly recommend Junho. He’s easy to work with, and his wonderful dog Boki will make a great companion for yours. Boki is super friendly and loves to play, but also knows how to give space if another dog isn’t in the mood.”

“Sean is very attentive to our dog's needs and Bailey loves staying in his home. We have always used Sean for daycare when visiting the Boston area and he gives us great peace of mind knowing Bailey is having a fun day too. We highly recommend Sean as your sitter!”

“Rowley had a great day with Ismael and came home very tired from playing all day. Ismael was super easy to communicate with and very helpful (as this was our first Rover experience). Great all around.”

About: I have had dogs almost my entire life. I have been pet sitting on dog vacay and rover for the last several years , before my dog Dora passed away two years when she was 14 years of age. I stopped pet sitting , and was grieving for a while. I am now ready to get back to dog sitting , and want to experience joy of pets again, even if on a temporary basis. I have two children , 8 and 4, and they have been exposed to dogs and cats until recently . We want to have a chance to play with doggies again, and love them! At the moment I am unemployed, and home with my 4 year old. A dog would easily fit in our daily routine, as the dog parents require. I live in a condo association, on the third floor. I do not have a yard, but I will be able to walk your doggie.
“Daisy had a great day with Stef! Stef met with us in advance to meet Daisy and learn about her daily routine and requirements. She made it very easy to drop Daisy off and pick her up and also sent a few pictures during the day. Stef took her out for three walks, one of them was a car ride away from Stef's home which was an adventure for Daisy. It was almost hard to get Daisy into the car as she didn't want to leave. Daisy was so tired that night and into the next day, but was very happy. We are looking forward to having Stef take care of her again!”

“Betsy and David are super nice and their home very well kept. They have a solid process in place to welcome both dogs and humans and Maikoh was super well cared for and came back super happy! Thank you”

About: I have been caring for animals my whole life but have been doing it as a part-time job for the past 3 years. I love caring for animals & enjoy long walks! I am a local mom with plenty of time for walks, boarding, and/or sitting as my children are a bit older so this job fits perfectly with my current situation & personality! I love animals so much! Our home is very tranquil and we have a seven-year-old female labrador who loves other dogs and meeting new friends. And anytime I am in someone’s home. I treat it as if it were my own with the utmost respect.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have always had them as part of my life, so being around animals feels very natural to me. My last dog, a 12-year-old schnauzer mix with complex needs, recently passed away, and caring for her through her senior years only deepened my patience, attentiveness, and understanding of dogs who need extra support or routine. I really love animals and treat every dog like my own—with kindness, calm energy, and lots of care. I understand how important it is to feel completely comfortable leaving your pet with someone, and I take that responsibility seriously. I’m available for morning walks and drop-ins and would love to help care for your pup!
“Brianna was great! She dog-sat for Juno, our 8 year-old Bernedoodle, in our home for 10 days. She came by for a meet and greet a few days beforehand to get the lay of the land and meet Juno. Bri is a great communicator , which gave us comfort, as we were leaving our dog and house with someone we only recently met (albeit with excellent references). We got lots of pics and updates, and our home was immaculate upon our return. Very professional. Will hire again. Highly recommend!”

“Our dog Cav seemed to have a great time at Shuai's daycare. The pick up and drop off process from our home was very easy and convenient and Shuai was very thorough in understanding our Dog's needs in advance and catering to his specific requirements. We received multiple updates and photos throughout the day of Cav playing with other dogs and having fun during his day. As first time dog owners we were very impressed and will use Shuai again soon as needed.”

About: I am a 32-year-old living in a house in Newton (with a fenced-in backyard!) with flexible work hours. I work from home, and I'm a writer so hours are flexible, so I can take your dog for a walk whenever you need me to. I am responsible, kind, and athletic, and would love taking your dog on a long neighborhood walk, a dog park, or another location you'd prefer. Lastly, I am a previous pet owner myself -- growing up I had an incredibly energetic golden retriever dog, as well as a cat who lived 15 years. I also used to volunteer at the Ipswich Animal Shelter because I love all animals! I work a 9-to-5 job from home, but my role as a writer means I have limited meetings — so I have a lot of flexibility to take your pup for walks and play with him or her throughout the day. I follow the owner’s advice when it comes to how to make the animal feel safe and comfortable in my home. I ensure I am always aware of where the pup or cat is and watch them so they don’t get themselves into harm’s way, and I follow the animal’s lead when it comes to whether they want to be picked up or pet or whether they want space to explore a bit. I work full-time from home, and as a writer I have a flexible schedule to play and walk your pet throughout the day as well as on weekends. We have a house in Newton, and I always ensure anything potentially dangerous is off the floor before a pup comes over. I also make sure they have their own space in my house on a dog bed or blanket with toys so they feel safe and welcomed.
“Five stars doesn’t feel like enough- I highly recommend Charlie! My dog’s excitement level goes through the roof when I say Charlie’s name. Charlie’s responsible, caring, fun, and shows a genuine love in caring for animals. I feel a real sense of comfort having such a kind and attentive sitter for my dog! I’m truly grateful!”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 9, and probably even younger! I grew up with a Black Lab who was the sweetest boy. I took care of him throughout his life - bringing him on walks multiple times a day, feeding him, cleaning up after him, and always playing and spending time with him. I have also taken care of my friends’ dogs whenever they were away and needed someone to check in! I’m currently in studying in college in Boston but am very flexible on weekends, along with Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays after 12pm once I finish classes. I spent 14 years living with my dog and understand what it takes to create a safe and clean space for dogs! I am very attentive and I’ll be able to keep your dog safe. When I get back home after walking dogs I play with them for a bit, make sure they have plenty of water, and do whatever the client asks of me!
About: I absolutely adore pets. I have owned a cat and a dog, and have pet-sat for numerous animals. I can't think of a better job than getting paid to do something I would do for free. My promise to you is that I will treat your pet with the utmost care, as if it were my own. I am a recent college graduate with some time before I start my full-time job. I am flexible with scheduling, and I'm happy to work with you to best support you and your pet's needs. I heavily prioritize the safety and well-being of the pets I watch. I am vigilant to ensure that pets receive all the exercise, medication, and other care they require while also giving them the attention and love they deserve. I truly enjoy and am passionate about providing the best experiences for the pets I watch!
“Michelle was so nice and Cookie loves her. She was very accommodating and you could tell she knew what she was doing. I will definitely book again! Thanks Michelle!”

“Julia was great! Totally reliable, pleasant and kind. Our dog can be wary around new people, but he warmed up to her just about instantly. She knows how to work with “nervous” mutts. I’ll definitely request her again if I need a dog walker.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all kinds since I was a child. I have experience walking and pet sitting for dogs from puppies to adults and seniors. I am in the process of looking for a new job, which means that I currently have availability late morning to late evenings most days. I take safety very seriously. I make sure to follow any directions you leave behind. I only let dogs off leash in fenced in areas, and even then only with the owners permission. I make sure dogs and cats are safely indoors before I leave - and crate them if that is requested.
“Ani is a fantastic choice for dog walking or dog sitting. From the first time she met with our dog , Shadow, I could tell how good she would be. She knew exactly how to draw Shadow in, and make her feel comfortable and connected. The second time, a month later, Shadow was ecstatic to see Ani again. That’s the proof evidence that I look for when determining if my dog is connecting and happy and safe with her walker/sitter. Ani is great at getting back to me promptly with the app, and provides lots of timely updates during her stay. She has been on time and very responsible and respectful of my home. Ani has been a delight to work with and we feel 100% comfortable leaving Shadow in her care.”

“Our dog Lincoln had an amazing time with Stefan and his family. I was very nervous to leave him, as we recently moved to Arlington. I shouldn’t have worried at all! Stefan eased my mind by sending me pictures and updating me on what he was doing. After a day, I started thinking that Lincoln was on a vacation! He got love, he played with other dogs, got exercise, and at night was snuggled in bed. His stay exceeded my expectations, and I would leave Lincoln with them anytime. He had a great time. Thank you Stefan and family! I hope Lincoln can come back! ?❤️ And thank you for his little doggie bag!”

“This was our second time working with Jess, and Duke was happy as can be. We loved the photos of Duke interacting with the other dogs and having a great time. Won't hesitate to have Jess watch Duke again.”

“Dana is the best sitter around! He went above and beyond when we forgot to bring a leash and bowl insisting he could take care of it and that he would buy a leash! He is so kind and understanding. Best of all, once again Bella absolutely loved her stay with Dana”

“If we could give more than 5 stars, we would. We went away for our wedding for over 2 weeks and Kevin was beyond incredible with our dog, Kaya. He was so thorough prior to her stay and treated her as if she was his own. We received daily updates and were so excited to see Kevin’s thorough review of her day. Thank you so much! You are the best dog sitter we’ve ever had!”

“Jordan was absolutely fantastic! She treated Addie like she was her own! We were so happy that we booked our next boarding the same day we picked Addie up from this one!”
