About: Along with growing up with two dogs and helping to raise a puppy as a teenager, family friends and neighbors have relied on me to take care of their dogs and cats since I was ten. I've worked with all types of dogs, from Shih Tzus to Pit Bull mixes. I'm the one in my family who takes the dogs out on long hikes (or for short walks around the block once they get older), brushes their teeth and fur, gives them baths, and trims their nails. I'm a regular volunteer at cat shelters in cat care, and as a student on the pre-veterinary track, I have shadowed and volunteered at vet clinics to better understand the care that goes into your pets' health. Besides dogs and cats, I also have experience with a myriad of animals, such as hamsters, rabbits, chinchillas, guinea pigs, mice, fish, hermit crabs, geckos, snakes, tortoises, and turtles. I have experience in preparing special diets for pets and other animals with specific health needs, and in senior dog care. Over the summer, I work at my internships in animal care for much of the work day, but that leaves afternoons, evenings, and early mornings for me to check in on your pets and give any care they need (breakfast/dinner, walks, baths, etc.). Over the school year, I will have more hours available to fit in more time with your pets (i.e. walking and bathing/grooming, more playtime, etc.). As a lover of all creatures, I take the safety of both pets and wildlife seriously. As such, I will always supervise pets that are outside in yards and keep them on leashes outside fenced-off areas so they are not a danger to others or themselves. If transporting pets in my car, I will keep them safe and secure in a carrier/crate. As a college student who has shared living spaces with new people before, I understand the importance of respecting others' belongings and boundaries. During drop-in visits, I will be sure to respect your home and any rules you may have for your comfort (i.e. no shoes in the house, specific dishes/silverware for pets only, general cleanliness, etc.).

About: I've been around dogs my whole life. I have cared for many of my own, neighbors', and friends' pets throughout my life. I love getting to know different dogs and their personalities, walking, and playing with them. I'm a local college student with a pretty flexible schedule especially in the summer and during school breaks. I am willing to accommodate for off hours. I have experience with difficult and anxious pets, as well as different sizes of dogs. I'm a pretty active individual, but also love to chill on the couch if that's more your pet's speed.

My last dog, a 12-year-old schnauzer mix with complex needs, recently passed away, and caring for her through her senior years only deepened my patience, attentiveness, and understanding of dogs who need extra support or routine. I really love animals and treat every dog like my own—with kindness, calm energy, and lots of care. I understand how important it is to feel completely comfortable leaving your pet with someone, and I take that responsibility seriously. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 9, and probably even younger! I grew up with a Black Lab who was the sweetest boy. I took care of him throughout his life - bringing him on walks multiple times a day, feeding him, cleaning up after him, and always playing and spending time with him. I have also taken care of my friends’ dogs whenever they were away and needed someone to check in! I’m currently in studying in college in Boston but am very flexible on weekends, along with Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays after 12pm once I finish classes. I spent 14 years living with my dog and understand what it takes to create a safe and clean space for dogs! I am very attentive and I’ll be able to keep your dog safe. When I get back home after walking dogs I play with them for a bit, make sure they have plenty of water, and do whatever the client asks of me!
