About: I love all furry friends - I have a lovely cat, and I enjoy taking care of my friends’ puppies short or long terms. Taking them to long walks is my favorite part! I work on a flexible schedule, so I’m available on most weekday mornings or afternoons. I’d be ou-of-town on some weekends so pls let me know what’s your schedule like if pup needs walks on weekends! I have leashes (non-retractable) for small and medium dogs. I’m confident keeping pups of these sizes safe from traffic / other animals all the time. It’ll definitely be a plus if your pup know some commands!

About: I grew up surrounded by pets. Both my neighbor and my grandma had cats that loved to explore the outdoors, so I spent many summer days playing and exploring with them. During quarantine, my cousin got an Australian Cobberdog named Rosie. When they were away, I would frequently volunteer to be the one in charge of caring for her. In recent years, when my friends were away they would trust me to walk and take care of their pets. Over the years I have gained a lot of experience caring for cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes, and am so excited to meet your pet! During the months of May-August I am situated in Newton MA. During the months of September-April, I split my time between Amherst MA where I go to school at UMass and Newton. I think pet care is a two way street. About: I am a 28 year old dog lover who has had dogs my whole life! I have had multiple bichons as a kid and have spent a ton of time with a variety of family friends breeds! I have trained our dogs growing up with my family and spent a lot of time walking and keeping them busy throwing the ball around as my mom was a writer. About: Plenty of experience with all types of pets! I have been around dogs and cats all of my life and I currently own an AMAZING corgi named Macy. I am very comfortable around all dogs whether they are small or large. I love dogs and will definitely take wayyyy too many pictures of your fur babies. Your pets are your children and I am more than equipped to meet their needs. I lived with 4 dogs before so I’m very used to watching more than 1. Keeping your pets happy is my priority!!! I typically work 8-5pm at Texas a&m and I’m free outside of that! Depending on how close you were I could potentially let the dogs out at lunch. Your pets typically feel most comfortable in their own environment so while I can’t keep them at my house with my current housing restrictions I am more than willing to house sit so that they can feel at ease while you are away.

Lauren was amazing, she did a fantastic job taking care of our two cats, she came every day followed directions and sent us detailed reports on how they were doing with lots of pictures. Our cats were thriving and it was a great comfort to know they were in such good hands. We were having some work done in our bathroom while we were away and Lauren was really adaptable with the times she came over. She went above and beyond doing extras like bringing in our mail and feeding our fish. I will be hiring Lauren again next time we go away for sure!

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
