About: I love all furry friends - I have a lovely cat, and I enjoy taking care of my friends’ puppies short or long terms. Taking them to long walks is my favorite part! I work on a flexible schedule, so I’m available on most weekday mornings or afternoons. I’d be ou-of-town on some weekends so pls let me know what’s your schedule like if pup needs walks on weekends! I have leashes (non-retractable) for small and medium dogs. I’m confident keeping pups of these sizes safe from traffic / other animals all the time. It’ll definitely be a plus if your pup know some commands!

About: I am a lifelong dog lover and animal person. I grew up riding horses and spent years at the barn caring for the horses, dogs, and cats. I've had my own dogs and taken care of other people's. I would love to take your dog for walks and spoil them with love! I am also licensed in my town and have pet sitting insurance outside of Rover's insurance. I have a flexible job and work from home most days. I can fit in walks or be around the house with your dog. I have a secure and good sized fenced in yard and live near a dog park as well if your dog is okay with other dogs. I balance spoiling dogs with lots of love, treats, and pats with making sure dogs get whatever individual care they need including feedings, exercise, and medications if needed.
About: I’ve owned and cared for animals my whole life, both cats and dogs and all ages, needs, shapes and sizes! Our animals deserve above and beyond care far beyond just refilling the bowls when your out. I currently work full time in the Cambridge/Brighton area and my hours are roughly 7-3 so I’m available for early morning, afternoon, and evening care as well as weekends. About: My mom is a dog trainer, so I grew up around dogs (and cats and other beings) and learned from her training. Not just how to work with them, but how to build their trust. Just like with humans, care is built on relationship. I'll always take the time to get to know your pet and am a gentle, steady presence. For the past four years, I was so lucky to have an incredible service dog by my side. Sully, a Labrador retriever, was with me 24/7 and we both learned a lot about how to communicate with one another. Sully passed away from kidney disease and cancer this past December, and I miss him tremendously. I'd like to honor his memory by being there for other animal families when they need it. Throughout his illness, I became proficient at giving pills, doing subcutaneous fluids, and adapting our playing to what Sully was up for. Families can count on me to take good care of animals who need extra help. I'm in graduate school Monday-Thursdays, but can offer care first thing in the morning and after 5 pm on weekdays. Most weeks, I can be available throughout Friday-Sunday When caring for pets in their homes, I start by asking their humans to describe their daily routines, what causes the animal stress or delight, and how they'd like their homes to be used. I'll leave things just as I found them. My apartment is small, but we have a big fenced yard. I've got plenty of toys, comfy beds for dogs and cats, water bowls, and treats at home, but I encourage folks to bring over anything that will help their pet feel at home in my place. For walks of more than 15 minutes, I’d likely use my electric wheelchair so that chronic pain doesn’t limit how much of a walk your pup would have.

Our cats were thriving and it was a great comfort to know they were in such good hands. We were having some work done in our bathroom while we were away and Lauren was really adaptable with the times she came over. She went above and beyond doing extras like bringing in our mail and feeding our fish. I will be hiring Lauren again next time we go away for sure!

Avery was awesome! She watched my kitties for multiple days while I was traveling and I came home to very happy and content cats. She brushed and played with them, and gave their oral medications every morning. She always sent a detailed description of each visit with lots of photos. I will be rebooking Avery in the future!
Kyra did a great job caring for my two cats, sometimes coming twice a day to feed, water and litter. Kyra also gave ear drops to Nike who had an infection. She sent pictures and was in contact, and I think the cats really liked her. I trust her and would certainly book Kyra again.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
