About: I am a 28 year old dog lover who has had dogs my whole life! I have had multiple bichons as a kid and have spent a ton of time with a variety of family friends breeds! I have trained our dogs growing up with my family and spent a lot of time walking and keeping them busy throwing the ball around as my mom was a writer. I joined Roger to help save up for my September 2027 wedding and are hoping to help out some families with their pets while getting some exercise! Thanks so much for considering! I am an accountant who works 8-5. My break (when I would walk or drop in) is from 12-1. I would also do so before & after work. I have lots of experience with pets and am happy to safely care for your pet however you specify! We crate our pets at night, our yard is fenced in, ETC,

“We have used Carole several times now to look after our two tuxedo cats and we cannot recommend her enough! She’s always on time, she spends a ton of time making our cats feel loved, and is just the best! Seriously, I cannot think of someone I trust more with my cats.”

“Emily was fantastic! She has a very calming demeanor and was so patient with my active dog! She really kept me in the loop when I was away with updates and pictures of my dog, and made sure he was well cared for! Emily is a competent, trustworthy, reliable and warm dog sitter whom I highly recommend!”

“Angelica is a wonderful pet sitter, she is very friendly and responsive. She took good care of my cat and did everything that I requested and more. My cat loved her, and I had a worry-free trip knowing that my cat is in good hands. I will definitely book her again in the future and recommend her to my friends and family! Thank you Angelica!”

“Jessica was great! Booked a drop-in with short notice. She was responsive, flexible, and showed a care and understanding for my pooch's well-being as well as any concerns I had”

“Kathleen did a great job of caring for our elderly cat while we were on vacation and even learned how to administer the subcutaneous fluids he needs for his kidney disease. Most of all, she made sure to give him lots of love and attention.”

About: I am a recent college grad spending some time on my own, but greatly missing my pets! I have experience with all kinds of animals including medically complex pets, seniors, puppies, doodles and other hairy friends, and more! I am a part time intern working about 20 hours per week looking for some friends to fill my downtime. I can look after your animals any time of day with this flexibility. Good for weekdays and weekends! I follow a strict schedule with animals. Feeding routines, walks, treats, and training are all scheduled and followed to a T in my household. This makes it easy for me to apply these in other households.
“Stephanie is super friendly, reliable, and punctual. She has looked after my cat Musya several times already and it was a great experience. Will definitely book again!”

“Mara ~ Has been working with our pug puppy, Kiwi for over a month now. Helping her to be socialized and to learn how to feel comfortable around others. Mara has a calming presence & has patiently worked with Kiwi. I'm grateful for Mara's willingness to listen to and follow specific direction. Her flexibility and responsiveness are also appreciated. Mara has earned our trust, and her reliability has given us confidence that Kiwi is in good hands with her care.”

About: My mom is a dog trainer, so I grew up around dogs (and cats and other beings) and learned from her training. Not just how to work with them, but how to build their trust. Just like with humans, care is built on relationship. I'll always take the time to get to know your pet and am a gentle, steady presence. For the past four years, I was so lucky to have an incredible service dog by my side. Sully, a Labrador retriever, was with me 24/7 and we both learned a lot about how to communicate with one another. Sully passed away from kidney disease and cancer this past December, and I miss him tremendously. I'd like to honor his memory by being there for other animal families when they need it. Throughout his illness, I became proficient at giving pills, doing subcutaneous fluids, and adapting our playing to what Sully was up for. Families can count on me to take good care of animals who need extra help. I'm in graduate school Monday-Thursdays, but can offer care first thing in the morning and after 5 pm on weekdays. Most weeks, I can be available throughout Friday-Sunday When caring for pets in their homes, I start by asking their humans to describe their daily routines, what causes the animal stress or delight, and how they'd like their homes to be used. I'll leave things just as I found them. My apartment is small, but we have a big fenced yard. I've got plenty of toys, comfy beds for dogs and cats, water bowls, and treats at home, but I encourage folks to bring over anything that will help their pet feel at home in my place. For walks of more than 15 minutes, I’d likely use my electric wheelchair so that chronic pain doesn’t limit how much of a walk your pup would have.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was in elementary school, I have lots of experience with them and truly enjoy working with all dogs I’m currently working part time so i’ll be free from Wednesday night until Sunday, any other day will have additional fees that will be added In my home my little dog has lots of space to run around and has a huge field to play in behind my house, so having the zoomies isn’t an issue!
“Niusha looked after our cat while we were away for the holiday and we were very happy to see the many photos and videos that she shared of our kitty - he was clearly very well loved and taken care of!”

“Angela took great care of our dog during a weekend away. She is an excellent communicator and sent lots of pictures too keep us posted of drop ins and walks. Would definitely ask her to help us out next time we need to go out of town.”

“Thank you for taking such good care of baby Leo. I missed him so much while I was away but knew he was in good hands. Leo hopes you’ll take care of him again next time I’m away. ❤️?⬛?”

About: Plenty of experience with all types of pets! I have been around dogs and cats all of my life and I currently own an AMAZING corgi named Macy. I am very comfortable around all dogs whether they are small or large. I love dogs and will definitely take wayyyy too many pictures of your fur babies. Your pets are your children and I am more than equipped to meet their needs. I lived with 4 dogs before so I’m very used to watching more than 1. Keeping your pets happy is my priority!!! I typically work 8-5pm at Texas a&m and I’m free outside of that! Depending on how close you were I could potentially let the dogs out at lunch. Your pets typically feel most comfortable in their own environment so while I can’t keep them at my house with my current housing restrictions I am more than willing to house sit so that they can feel at ease while you are away.

Your pup will be treated like family every step of the way. Pet care is a consistent part of my daily routine, including walks, feeding, playtime, and attentive care, ensuring pets feel safe, active, and well looked after. As a dog owner myself, I provide attentive, structured care with feeding, walks, playtime, and comfort, treating each pet like my own in a safe, calm environment.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a little girl! From owning my own three crazy golden retrievers to being trusted with my neighbor’s, family’s and friend’s pups, I have always loved being around dogs. I am a teacher and am currently off of school for the summer so I have plenty of time to walk and play with your pups! I plan on continuing dog walking part time through the school year as well! I love going on long walks, enjoying the summer sunshine and exploring around Boston. I would love for your furry best friend to join me!

Kyra did a great job caring for my two cats, sometimes coming twice a day to feed, water and litter. Kyra also gave ear drops to Nike who had an infection. She sent pictures and was in contact, and I think the cats really liked her. I trust her and would certainly book Kyra again.

Michelle was the absolute BEST with our little pup while we were out for a few hours. He’s just 11 weeks old, so he’s a bit needier than the standard drop in. Michelle took the challenge on willingly as a recent puppy mom herself, ensuring she understood his routine thoroughly so she could replicate it. Her kind nature, clear communication, and thorough updates helped us relax and enjoy our first real night out since bringing our puppy home. Will 100% book with Michelle again!

Alyssa was amazing for my dog and me. Highly recommend. I had a last minute business trip and she was able to drop in to save the evening and walk Louie while I was out of town. And it was her first walk with us. She knew just what to ask during the meet and greet and then again right before the walk to make it be a success for her, me and most importantly Louie! Thx!!!!

Katie took wonderful care of my puppy, Mabel, over the past few months. She walked her regularly several days a week and was always communicative. It gave me real peace of mind knowing Mabel was in such good hands. I would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible and caring dog walker.

Kathleen saved us in a pinch. We had a change in plans about a month before a trip. We usually board our dog and use friends for cat sitting. Our dog is often not friendly to strangers so we needed a housesitter. A few other leads on Rover fell through or didn't have a car. We had a meet and greet with Kathleen and that was all it took. The 2x/day drop-ins worked perfectly and kept both animals safe and sound during a very snowy week. Kathleen is great, you won't be disappointed.

Dominik was fantastic with instructions and came to my aid in a pinch. Our puppy seemed very relaxed and confident with her. She was prompt, in time and communicative which is super important and followed all directions. I will for sure be requesting more walks with her in future.

Grace did a great job taking care of my senior cat Dagny. She is still very active, although shy, yet Grace was able to make friends with Dagny, treated her and even got to groom a bit. She followed my particular feeding instructions perfectly, and kept water filled and litter clean. Grace has quick response communication, and shared some great pics of my girl during her visit. I highly recommend Grace for her care and professionalism.

Kelly is excellent with our puppy! She is patient and had no problem following our long list of instructions /explanation of our pup’s quirks and training commands. He loves seeing her every week and we appreciate the help and reliability during our work week!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Waban with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
