I have had many pets and worked in shelters before so Ive seen animals in all their forms. I work at the office Monday thru Friday 8-4. I however have a lot of flexibility with those hours and location depending on the type of care being sought. I follow the rules and guidance of the owner as closely as possible. They know their pet and how to most safely and compassionately care for them.

About: I have taken care of pets my entire life! I am lucky to have cared for pets across their entire lives, from puppy/kitten to lovely senior pets. I am currently volunteering at a cat shelter in Boston and would love to bring that experience to your pets. I love pets of all shapes and sizes, but I absolutely adore caring for big dogs and shy cats. I volunteer at a cat shelter in Boston three days a week, but I am otherwise free all throughout weekdays to look after your pets! I am happy to do morning or midday visits to take special care of your pets. I think it is incredibly important that caring for pets does not disrupt their regular habits or schedule! It's so important to gain the trust of people's pets in order to properly care for them, and so I will do everything I can to make sure that your pets feel safe and comfortable while I make sure their needs are met.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life, especially dogs. I grew up with a family dog for 15 years and was always surrounded by dogs through friends and extended family, so caring for them has always come naturally to me. I have hands on experience with daily care, potty training, and understanding dog behavior, and I’m confident handling everything from high energy pups to more relaxed, older dogs. While my background is primarily with dogs, I bring that same attentiveness, patience, and reliability to caring for cats, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for in their own space. Pet care fits well into my daily routine. I work a standard eight hour day, so pets would have some alone time during work hours. Before and after work, I make sure they get plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and care. I also have roommates who can help with a midday check in or let pets out if needed, which helps break up the day. I’m very mindful of keeping pets comfortable, sticking to their routines, and making sure they feel cared for even on a work schedule. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities, and I adjust my approach based on the environment. In my own home, I make sure the space is clean, pet safe, and free of anything they could get into. I keep a consistent routine for feeding, walks, and playtime so pets feel settled and comfortable. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, routines, and any specific preferences. I make sure pets stay in secure areas, keep doors and gates closed, and maintain a calm, familiar environment. I also pay close attention to behavior and energy levels to make sure each pet feels safe, relaxed, and well cared for.

About: I’ve grown up with three dogs and have always loved caring for them as part of the family. I have experience with dog walking and drop in visits with my sisters dogs as well as friends. It's important to me that our pets receive the proper attention, exercise, and patient care they need. I’m patient, reliable, and enjoy getting to know each dog’s unique personality. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, feeding, or simply providing companionship while you’re away, I treat every dog with the same care and kindness I would give my own. I work a second shift engineering job (2pm-10:30pm) during the weekdays so I’m available to drop in or walk dogs before I leave for work (before 1pm). Weekdays: 9:00am - 1:00pm Weekends: Anytime Ideally I’d walk or run to your home and for dog walking, I'd typically do 15-45 minute walks depending on your pet’s needs but I am flexible upon request. Weekends are usually free for me as well. I love being active and outside and am always running, walking or swimming so this is the perfect way for me to get a companion to join me on a walk or for some fresh air :) I’m great at following any instructions given so your pets will be in great hands! I grew up with dogs and can’t wait to get my own again some day- but my personal experience with animals will certainly help me take care of your pets.

About: As much as I love playing with puppies I have a fondness for senior dogs. I have spent more time caring for senior dogs and enjoy being around them. I worked nights and was always available for vet appointments. My dog Nicholas went to aquatherapy often and my Pug did acupuncture. I have cared for dogs needing meds, diaper changes, extra lifts, & short walks that required a long time. I often had dogs that needed fresh or homemade food and lots of treats & love. Being retired I am often home working on projects. I also am fortunate to have friends all over the country. I go to their homes and care for their pets while they vacation. I currently have no pets. I live 50ft to the paths along the Charles River. It is a great place to walk dogs. We come upon small wildlife, other dogs and lots of joggers. Some dogs still get excited need some training and treats. I have spent hours out there sitting with pets.

About: Hi there! I'm Devika and I identify as a certified dog aunt to all pups in the land. In all seriousness, I feel very attuned to dogs, including those with unique, diverse temperaments and needs. I grew up with a family dog, a shih-tzu named Leo, who passed away after a beautiful 14 years. After graduating, I didn't have the resources to commit to a full-time dog as much as I love them. There began my fostering journey during which I cared for 10+ dogs (varied breeds, sizes, and ages), anywhere from a few days to several months. During their time with me as their foster mom, these pups were able to begin acclimating to domestic life and working towards getting ready for their forever homes. Each foster experience was so special and I learned something new from each pup. That curiosity and attentive care is what I bring to dog care. Outside of my endless love for pups, I am a clinical psychology doctoral student which brings a whole other facet to my dog care. With my background in trauma, anxiety, and behavioral interventions, I also bring an astute and knowledgeable eye to caring for animals. This includes trauma-informed care (no restraints unless absolutely necessary for safety), thoughtful approaching, and gently authoritative training (only if indicated). Importantly, I completely respect the autonomy of pet-owners in how they want to raise and care for their pet, and will carry out duties with utmost care and diligence. My top priority is for your pet to feel safe and loved, and for you to have peace of mind while you leave your baby in my care. Please reach out with any questions and I'd love to connect more! I work remotely on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, which gives me flexibility for walks, drop-in visits, and pet care throughout the day. On Mondays and Thursdays, when I'm in the office, I'm available for early morning and evening walks or visits. My weekends are wide open, so I have plenty of time for longer walks, overnight stays, and lots of quality time with your pets! Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I carefully follow each pet's routine, including feeding schedules, medications, and any special care instructions. During walks, I stay alert, keep dogs securely leashed, and avoid unsafe situations or extreme weather. At home, I make sure pets have a calm, clean, and secure environment where they can feel relaxed. About: I've been doing pet care since I was 8 and have lots of experience with animals of all ages and personalities. Typical animal care from me looks like refilling food and water, walks, cleaning litter boxes, and finding creative ways to keep your animals thoroughly entertained. This summer I'm taking online college classes so my schedule is super flexible. The only set times I'll be busy doing virtual classes are from 11:00-4:30 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Please let me know what times work for you. I will always make sure to keep your dogs on leashes when not in fenced in areas to ensure your pup's safety is accounted for.
