“Sabina went above and beyond! I’m happy to have a dedicated sitter to take care of my cat while traveling. I would highly recommend Sabina for all your pet care needs!”

“Kayla was fantastic! She worked with us on our last-minute request and took great care of our fur baby and gave us peace of mind about leaving him at home while we were traveling. Will definitely hire her again!”

“Meagan was a FANTASTIC sitter. She took meticulous notes of all the instructions and went above and beyond to make sure our kitties felt safe and loved. She was an amazing communicator and sent lots of pictures. We have two shy kitties so sometimes it's hit or miss with sitters, but Maegan took the time to make sure they felt comfortable, gave them lots of treats, and ended up winning both of them over.”

About: I am a recent college grad spending some time on my own, but greatly missing my pets! I have experience with all kinds of animals including medically complex pets, seniors, puppies, doodles and other hairy friends, and more! I am a part time intern working about 20 hours per week looking for some friends to fill my downtime. I can look after your animals any time of day with this flexibility. Good for weekdays and weekends! I follow a strict schedule with animals. Feeding routines, walks, treats, and training are all scheduled and followed to a T in my household. This makes it easy for me to apply these in other households.

About: As an active athlete, daily walks with my own dogs isn't just a chore for me, it’s a lifestyle. Whether your dog needs a structured, high-energy jog or a long walk, I have the stamina and dedication to keep them active, happy, and tired by the time they get home. Because I'm a student-athlete home for the summer working only part-time, my schedule is incredibly flexible. My days are anchored by structured morning and evening workouts, meaning your dog will always get fed ant the right time and high-energy walks exactly when they need them. Because I'm not working a rigid 9-to-5, I'm able to make your pup my top priority throughout the day. Handling multiple dogs at once is second nature to me. In my own home, I regularly manage walking my Wheaton terrier, Wire Fox Terrier, and Bernedoodle all at the same time. They each have completely different energy levels and walking paces, so I've mastered the mechanics of balancing multiple leashes, maintaining control, and ensuring every dog gets taken care of. I love matching whatever energy your dog brings to the table. If they are a high-energy pup who needs to burn off steam, I have the stamina to keep up with them. But if your dog is a little more low-key and chill like my Bernedoodle, I’m just as happy laying down on the couch, watching a good show, and giving them all the belly rubs they want!
“Kathleen was so great taking care of my cat! Kathleen understood the rhythm of his (annoying) feeding routine, played with him and gave him lots of love and pets during her visits. I will definitely use her again!”

About: I am a social worker for humans professionally but apply the same kind of all encompassing empathy and love for dogs. I haven't had a dog of my own yet, but I've lived with and cared for many dogs over the last several years, and I’m an auntie to many close friends’ pups. Just waiting until I can be a full-time pet mom before I get a pup of my own. I can commute to you by car or public transportation. I am happy to have your dog be in my car. I just want to go on adventures in the outdoors and explore with your pup! I will love him or her as my own. Hope to hear from you soon! While I am taking care of your pet, I will be very attentive to their needs and involve them in my day as much as possible! Will spend majority of my time with your pet. I will be on top of all of their feeding, toileting, exercising and socializing needs. They are my #1 priority! I recently started my own psychotherapy practice and I work Tuesday-Friday. I go into my office most days but can alter that as needed for pet sitting. On Saturdays, Sunday’s and Mondays- your fur babies will have my undivided attention! I don’t have a fenced yard but I live near many dog parks where I could take your pup. I live in an apartment building but it’s rather small, with only 6 units total, and it’s pretty quiet with very little foot traffic. I’m happy to do whatever is necessary for caring for your pets, whether it’s in my home or yours!
About: Hello! 40/f/m from VT living in Watertown. I am currently the mother of two 10 years kitties who are litter mates 😻😻 Rocky and Finn. I have wanted a dog for a long time, and am working on my spouse everyday to get alignment! I enjoy playing with my family's and friend's dogs a lot, and had dogs growing up. This dog walking venture is something I want to do to meet others in my community both humans and dogs! I work full-time from home in HR and can't wait to get out there! I cannot board at this time but couldn't figure out how to opt out of that in my profile. I work full time from home in HR as a comp analyst. My schedule is very flexible. I want to schedule walks adhoc during the day or after work! When entering a clients home I will treat the area with care, make sure to lock up, check for water for the animal. I will do my best to find an appropriate outdoor/garage trash for the waste as well.
“Grace is a really nice sitter!!! She takes a good care of my cat Pan and Pan likes her a lot!!! Every time she comes, she takes photos and videos of Pan for me and plays with Pan a lot. I will come back and rebook if needed. Definitely recommend Grace to anyone who needs a sitter!!!”

About: As much as I love playing with puppies I have a fondness for senior dogs. I have spent more time caring for senior dogs and enjoy being around them. I worked nights and was always available for vet appointments. My dog Nicholas went to aquatherapy often and my Pug did acupuncture. I have cared for dogs needing meds, diaper changes, extra lifts, & short walks that required a long time. I often had dogs that needed fresh or homemade food and lots of treats & love. Being retired I am often home working on projects. I also am fortunate to have friends all over the country. I go to their homes and care for their pets while they vacation. I currently have no pets. I live 50ft to the paths along the Charles River. It is a great place to walk dogs. We come upon small wildlife, other dogs and lots of joggers. Some dogs still get excited need some training and treats. I have spent hours out there sitting with pets.
“Hannah is reliable and flexible with my animal’ needs. I’m so happy that she could work with me, and I will definitely check with her again when I need someone to check on my pets.”

About: I've been doing pet care since I was 8 and have lots of experience with animals of all ages and personalities. Typical animal care from me looks like refilling food and water, walks, cleaning litter boxes, and finding creative ways to keep your animals thoroughly entertained. This summer I'm taking online college classes so my schedule is super flexible. The only set times I'll be busy doing virtual classes are from 11:00-4:30 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Please let me know what times work for you. I will always make sure to keep your dogs on leashes when not in fenced in areas to ensure your pup's safety is accounted for.
“Eliza is one of a kind and truly wonderful. When we had to leave our dog, Molly, for the first time, we left it to Eliza and there could not have been a better person to keep the dog and us well cared for. Truly appreciative of her flexibility and communication with us throughout the booking.”

“Cassie was amazing, she is a loving caring young lady. If I could give her 10 stars I would. I highly recommend her. She took excellent care of my puppies with lots of love and fun. She also took great care of my house so all I had to do when I came home was to love on my puppies and unpack and relax.”

“Alayna has watched our senior cat twice now, and she always is attentive and careful with her needs, troubleshooting as necessary to support with medication, and is always communicative!”

“Sarah is amazing! We've booked her twice and both times have come home to a happy and healthy kitty. Our cat absolutely loves her, and we feel so secure knowing she is taking care of him while we are away.”

“Maeli was able to help us on short notice, which we really appreciated. She even came ahead of time to learn how to take care of our guinea pigs, which meant a lot to us. Since this was our first time leaving our pets with someone else, having someone reliable and trustworthy was super important, and she was great. Everything went smoothly, and I’d definitely reach out to her again if we need help in the future. 🐹🐹”

About: ‼️if this is your first time booking on rover, message me to get $20 off! 🐾 About Me Hi! My name is Jacqueline. I’ve spent several years working with dogs in different environments including dog walking, daycare-style settings, and in-home boarding. Through this experience I’ve worked with many different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I went to a vocational High School to study animal science and have occupational experience as well. I bring a higher level of knowledge and training than typical pet sitters. My approach to pet care focuses on creating a calm, structured, and safe environment where dogs can relax and feel comfortable while their owners are away. Every dog is treated with patience, supervision, and individual attention. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. 📝 What to Bring for Your Dog for Boarding To help your dog feel comfortable during their stay, please bring: • your dog’s regular food • food and water bowl • leash or harness • any medications they require • treats that your dog enjoys Familiar items can help dogs adjust more easily to a new environment. ❗️NOTE: -please do not bring toys for your dog as many dogs tend to exhibit resource guarding when placed in unfamiliar areas and get defensive over their special toy. 💬 Communication Clear communication helps ensure the best possible stay for your pet. I’m always happy to answer questions before or during a booking, and I appreciate owners sharing details about their dog’s routine, preferences, and personality. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and positive experience for every dog in my care. I structure my daily routine around feeding schedules, potty breaks, enrichment time, and consistent exercise to make sure every animal in my care feels secure and loved. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday check-ins, or nighttime wind-downs, I prioritize routine, safety, and positive reinforcement. Caring for animals isn’t something I “fit in” — it’s already built into how I live, so your pet will receive attentive, reliable care just like my own. Outside of my class schedule, pet care is a major part of my daily routine. I spend a lot of time with my own dog, including regular walks, park visits, and enrichment activities throughout the week. I’m very attentive to pets’ needs and make sure they get plenty of exercise, stimulation, and affection each day.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Watertown
Jamie was absolutely wonderful! This was my first time booking with her, and I left what felt like a million notes and instructions. Jamie took the time to read every single one and followed them so thoughtfully and carefully. It was clear from the start that she genuinely cared about providing the best possible experience for both me and my pet. She was kind, attentive, communicative, and incredibly detail-oriented throughout the entire stay. Knowing that someone took the time to understand all of my routines and preferences gave me so much peace of mind. I am so grateful for the excellent care Jamie provided and would absolutely book with her again without hesitation. Highly recommend!

We are so thrilled to have discovered Carol! She is knowledgeable, caring, and was so great with our dog. We'd only had our dog Josie for 1.5 months and it was our first time away since adopting her. Carol came for drop ins and went above and beyond to make sure that Josie felt comfortable throughout the trip. She kept us updated with photos and details and gave us such peace of mind while being away. We can't wait to book Carol again!

Alyssa took amazing care of my dog and cat while I was away for a work trip. She was very kind and understanding about my nerves of being away and leaving them but she was able to ease my worries with all of her detailed updates and many pictures of my pets. Thank you so much Alyssa!

Natasha was Great! She watched over our 4-month old puppy while we went out on our own for the first time. She got him through the whining and right into playing, training and resting. She took pictures, and gave us a thoughtful report on what she saw, based on her experience in training dogs. Highly recommended!

Stitches’ tail doesn’t wiggle for just anybody—but with Julia, it never stops! He can instantly sense her great energy, and it’s clear how comfortable and happy he feels around her. She’s so patient, caring, and attentive with him, and even in just 30 minutes, she makes such a positive difference in his day. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. Julia is truly amazing with him, and I couldn’t ask for a better dog walker and sitter! 🐾

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
