“Peaches, my little old Yorkie, took to Jess immediately and they enjoyed a nice walk in the neighborhood. I appreciated her promptness in arriving on time, and her photo that she took of Peaches. Highly recommend!”

“Elizabeth was fantastic with our young puppy - kept him on great sleeping and play schedule and was super easy to work and coordinate with! Look forward to having her back soon.”

About: I've had a dog (weimaraner) for most of my childhood, he was my buddy. I have boarded dogs at my house (senior rottweiler, pug, aussie, pitbull, red heeler) and walked neighborhood dogs (lab, border collie, goldendoodle) multiple times over the past 5 years, from adolescent to senior. I currently volunteer at a dog rescue, mostly with the thrift store but also spending time with the dogs. I truly enjoy having dogs around, I am not able to have my own at the moment and so I enjoy the time I get with dogs in need and neighborhood pets. I'm currently volunteering for 5 hours at a time, 2-3 days a week on Sunday and Monday, and I will be starting a job soon, so I will make sure to update my schedule once that is available to me. I can spend time with your dog all day when available to provide company, pets, and throw a frisbee in the yard, but I am also very comfortable taking dogs on long walks. I am pretty good about reading dogs' mannerisms and trying to adapt my activity based on their personality. If I'm new to a dog, I will try and make sure I do something with them they love to earn their trust.

About: I’ve grown up with three dogs and have always loved caring for them as part of the family. I have experience with dog walking and drop in visits with my sisters dogs as well as friends. It's important to me that our pets receive the proper attention, exercise, and patient care they need. I’m patient, reliable, and enjoy getting to know each dog’s unique personality. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, feeding, or simply providing companionship while you’re away, I treat every dog with the same care and kindness I would give my own. I work a second shift engineering job (2pm-10:30pm) during the weekdays so I’m available to drop in or walk dogs before I leave for work (before 1pm). Ideally I’d walk or run to your home late morning and for walks, I'd typically do 15-45 minute walks depending on your pet’s needs but I am flexible upon request. Weekends are pretty free for me as well. I love being active and outside and am always running, walking or swimming so this is the perfect way for me to get a complain to join me on a walk or for some fresh air :) I’m great at following any instructions given so your pets will be in great hands! I grew up with dogs and can’t wait to get my own again some day- but my personal experience with animals will certainly help me take care of your pets.
About: I've been doing pet care since I was 8 and have lots of experience with animals of all ages and personalities. Typical animal care from me looks like refilling food and water, walks, cleaning litter boxes, and finding creative ways to keep your animals thoroughly entertained. This summer I'm taking online college classes so my schedule is super flexible. The only set times I'll be busy doing virtual classes are from 11:00-4:30 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Please let me know what times work for you. I will always make sure to keep your dogs on leashes when not in fenced in areas to ensure your pup's safety is accounted for.
About: Hello! I love taking Newton, Waltham and Watertown pups for walks during the day. Happy to go a little further if the timing is right. You can count on me when it comes to communication with you and love for your baby. I bring toys and treats, and can work with shy dogs! I work full time from home in HR as a comp analyst. My schedule is very flexible. I want to schedule walks adhoc during the day or after work! When entering a clients home I will treat the area with care, make sure to lock up, check for water for the animal. I will do my best to find an appropriate outdoor/garage trash for the waste as well.

About: I have genuine experience for 10+ years. I love meeting new pets and making them happy. Family Friends, Neighbors, etc. I’ve done it all! I’m currently working remote and have a very flexible schedule. Whenever you need me (even if it’s last minute) I’ll be there! I’ll make sure to play with the dog and run around with them. If that cat just wants to chill, that works for me!
“11 out of 10, extraordinary cat sitter. Adapted to our two weirdo muppets’ needs, carefully followed feeding directions, took great care with one very shy, elderly cat and one very friendly young cat. Went above and beyond - took some really, really wonderful pictures too! Highly recommend. I’m an anxious pet owner and was totally reassured knowing she was checking in on them.”
About: I have taken care of pets my entire life! I am lucky to have cared for pets across their entire lives, from puppy/kitten to lovely senior pets. I am currently volunteering at a cat shelter in Boston and would love to bring that experience to your pets. I love pets of all shapes and sizes, but I absolutely adore caring for big dogs and shy cats. I volunteer at a cat shelter in Boston three days a week, but I am otherwise free all throughout weekdays to look after your pets! I am happy to do morning or midday visits to take special care of your pets. I think it is incredibly important that caring for pets does not disrupt their regular habits or schedule! It's so important to gain the trust of people's pets in order to properly care for them, and so I will do everything I can to make sure that your pets feel safe and comfortable while I make sure their needs are met.
About: As long as I can remember, I’ve had pets; sheepdogs, labradors, dachshunds, basset hounds, chihuahuas, schnauzers, doodles, mixed breeds, Siamese cats, tabby cats, gray cats… you name it. I’ve loved every minute! Waking up early for a bathroom walk? I’ve never minded! Unfortunately at this moment I can’t have a pet, so doing this is extremely rewarding to me and I am good at it! Your furry baby is in great hands! 🙌 I’m flexible at work, so I could accommodate the typical or non-typical hours. If it’s a short notice thing, send a message and we can align, happy to help! I can work with crates or free roaming pets, in your space or mine. I have toys for entertainment and all the cleaning supplies if any accidents happen.
About: As much as I love playing with puppies I have a fondness for senior dogs. I have spent more time caring for senior dogs and enjoy being around them. I worked nights and was always available for vet appointments. My dog Nicholas went to aquatherapy often and my Pug did acupuncture. I have cared for dogs needing meds, diaper changes, extra lifts, & short walks that required a long time. I often had dogs that needed fresh or homemade food and lots of treats & love. Being retired I am often home working on projects. I also am fortunate to have friends all over the country. I go to their homes and care for their pets while they vacation. I currently have no pets. I live 50ft to the paths along the Charles River. It is a great place to walk dogs. We come upon small wildlife, other dogs and lots of joggers. Some dogs still get excited need some training and treats. I have spent hours out there sitting with pets.
About: I offer pet sitting, house sitting, pet walking and drop in visits. I’ve had pets my entire life, both cats and dogs, birds and hamsters. My schedule is very flexible and open to providing care as needed! Please just let me know what your expectations and needs are and we can go from there! I will be sure to have an open line of communication with the pet parents. I will review emergency contacts including the vet information with the pet parents and make sure to review all necessary information regarding the pet including the pet’s daily routine, amount of exercise needed and the type of food they eat.
“Eliza is one of a kind and truly wonderful. When we had to leave our dog, Molly, for the first time, we left it to Eliza and there could not have been a better person to keep the dog and us well cared for. Truly appreciative of her flexibility and communication with us throughout the booking.”

About: I am a registered nurse with a lifelong love of animals. I have always had pets since I was a little girl. About: I've had cats and dogs all my life, and caring for animals is truly a joy for me. I regularly cat-sit for my friends, ensuring their feline friends get all the love and attention they deserve. I've also volunteered at dog shelters during college and with the LA Pug Rescue, where I gained valuable experience caring for dogs of all kinds. Jess has been such a great addition to my dog's life! Nellie is an anxious girl who can be reactive on lease. Jess has not only embraced working with Nellie, but has been patient and creative in providing Nellie with the best possible experience. She is flexible with my schedule and provides clear and consistent communication. Can not recommend enought!

Jamie was absolutely wonderful! This was my first time booking with her, and I left what felt like a million notes and instructions. Jamie took the time to read every single one and followed them so thoughtfully and carefully. It was clear from the start that she genuinely cared about providing the best possible experience for both me and my pet. She was kind, attentive, communicative, and incredibly detail-oriented throughout the entire stay. Knowing that someone took the time to understand all of my routines and preferences gave me so much peace of mind. I am so grateful for the excellent care Jamie provided and would absolutely book with her again without hesitation. Highly recommend!

We are so thrilled to have discovered Carol! She is knowledgeable, caring, and was so great with our dog. We'd only had our dog Josie for 1.5 months and it was our first time away since adopting her. Carol came for drop ins and went above and beyond to make sure that Josie felt comfortable throughout the trip. She kept us updated with photos and details and gave us such peace of mind while being away. We can't wait to book Carol again!

Alyssa took amazing care of my dog and cat while I was away for a work trip. She was very kind and understanding about my nerves of being away and leaving them but she was able to ease my worries with all of her detailed updates and many pictures of my pets. Thank you so much Alyssa!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
