“Carol was a professional and caring provider for our two pups. She tailored her services to put more complicated needs, communicated regularly, and we had full confidence that Gypsy and Franklin were getting excellent care. She has an amazing way with animals and is very competent. Would absolutely work with Carol again and reference to others. Thank you, Carol.”

“Alyssa is amazing! She took care of Emilio, my cat, while I was away. Communication was great, and she helped me clean after, which is always appreciated. Thank you !”

“Adelle did a fantastic job checking in on our two cats while we were away. She communicated well and made the process seamless. This was our first time using Rover and we will be using Rover (and hopefully working with Adelle) again because of our great experience with her!”

“Scooting is typical of Mae, inconsistent but common. Ill keep an eye on her, it could be a sign of a vaginal issue. Thanks for your help today. My train back to Boston, 30 minutes in, is heading back to NY due to an electrical issue. If this turns out to be an issue that requires me to stay in NY tonight, would you be available tomorrow AM to walk and feed them? I dont want to confirm any plans until I know what Amtrak is going to do. I’ll request the booking through Rover when I know.”

“We needed someone to watch over our little puppy and I am happy to have found Kathleen for that! Communication was great and we were really happy with the detailed updates - super recommend!”

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life, especially dogs. I grew up with a family dog for 15 years and was always surrounded by dogs through friends and extended family, so caring for them has always come naturally to me. I have hands on experience with daily care, potty training, and understanding dog behavior, and I’m confident handling everything from high energy pups to more relaxed, older dogs. While my background is primarily with dogs, I bring that same attentiveness, patience, and reliability to caring for cats, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for in their own space. Pet care fits well into my daily routine. I work a standard eight hour day, so pets would have some alone time during work hours. Before and after work, I make sure they get plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and care. I also have roommates who can help with a midday check in or let pets out if needed, which helps break up the day. I’m very mindful of keeping pets comfortable, sticking to their routines, and making sure they feel cared for even on a work schedule. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities, and I adjust my approach based on the environment. In my own home, I make sure the space is clean, pet safe, and free of anything they could get into. I keep a consistent routine for feeding, walks, and playtime so pets feel settled and comfortable. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, routines, and any specific preferences. I make sure pets stay in secure areas, keep doors and gates closed, and maintain a calm, familiar environment. I also pay close attention to behavior and energy levels to make sure each pet feels safe, relaxed, and well cared for.
“Chloe was great. She kept me up to date about how well my cat was eating, drinking and eliminating. She gave him some affection and cleaned up after him. I would book her again.”

“Susie was great with my Maine Coon Suka. She was professional and communicative. Suka is not used to meeting new people and can be an intimidating large cat, but Susie knew to give Suka her space and wait for when she’s ready. Suka warmed up to her and was side swiping her and rubbing against her. I’d hire Susie again.”

“Abby is so thoughtful, kind, and responsible. She takes great care of the animals and even hauled a bunch of heavy packages inside (sorry and thank you!). I highly recommend Abby she is wonderful to work with and always goes above and beyond. Thank you so much Abby!!”

“Julia took great care of our cat! She is communicative, reliable, understood/followed all care instructions, and clearly an animal lover. We knew our cat was in good hands. Highly recommend Julia for your animal sitting!”

About: I have years of experience dog sitting large breed puppies and senior dogs. I am comfortable administering medication to animals. Additionally, I have significant experience caring for service dogs. I am a recent graduate with an abundance of free time, particularly over the summer. Other than the infrequent trip, I am available 7 days a week for pet care! I treat your home with the upmost respect, leaving as clean or cleaner than when I arrived. Additionally, I value your privacy and will maintain professionalism at all times.
About: I’ve cared for dogs for years and have a dog of my own. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playing, and providing lots of attention and care. I understand how important pets are to their families and will treat your pet like my own. Pet care is already a part of my daily routine. I have my own dog and have experience caring for friends' pets as well. I'm used to feeding, walks, playtime, and making sure pets get the attention and care they need throughout the day. Spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy and can easily fit into my schedule. I understand that pets are family, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. I follow all care instructions carefully, maintain a safe environment, and make sure pets have plenty of exercise, attention, fresh water, and supervision. Whether your dog is energetic or prefers a calmer routine, I aim to keep them comfortable, happy, and safe while you're away.
About: As much as I love playing with puppies I have a fondness for senior dogs. I have spent more time caring for senior dogs and enjoy being around them. I worked nights and was always available for vet appointments. My dog Nicholas went to aquatherapy often and my Pug did acupuncture. I have cared for dogs needing meds, diaper changes, extra lifts, & short walks that required a long time. I often had dogs that needed fresh or homemade food and lots of treats & love. Being retired I am often home working on projects. I also am fortunate to have friends all over the country. I go to their homes and care for their pets while they vacation. I currently have no pets. I live 50ft to the paths along the Charles River. It is a great place to walk dogs. We come upon small wildlife, other dogs and lots of joggers. Some dogs still get excited need some training and treats. I have spent hours out there sitting with pets.

Marina was excellent. She followed the instructions specifically and in her notes made me feel very confident and comfortable about her and Pearl! She treated Pearl with great care and took the time to make Pearl feel safe. Pearl reacted to Marina in a way far more positive than Pearl has ever reacted to any visitor to our house.

Bryana was an amazing for the drop in visits for my old lady Pumpkin. They were super responsive and the updates they provided were so cute and informative. They also went above and beyond making sure my cat was comfortable the entire time. I highly recommend them and will definitely hire them again the next time I travel.

Zilalai was a great sitter for our cat Moogle! She was prompt in her visits and sent photos/notes every day. She was also happy to arrange and meet and greet beforehand to let us and our cat get comfortable with her first. We came home after a week to a happy and healthy cat. Thanks Zilalai!

My kitties LOVE J and I thoroughly trust her with them. I needed last minute care and medication administration and she took excellent care of both my adult cat and kitten. She stays in touch, sends great updates and I hope to have her hang with my cats again!
