About: I've helped care for my previous roommate's 60 lb dog for 6 years while living together. This included letting him outside, taking him on walks, feeding him, and giving him medication when needed. I've also watched and cared for several other friends' dogs and cats while they were away. I'm a school counselor and have a school schedule, so I'm available from 4:00/4:15 PM or so on during the week. My weekends are generally more flexible. Happy to chat more about it! I will respect and oblige by any rules or boundaries set forth for your pets and within your home. Happy to accommodate and meet you where you're at!
“Julia was fantastic! She is very detailed and caring. I can tell Cosmo enjoyed spending time with her. Julia even took the time to bring in my mail, clean Cosmo’s food dishes and take some great photos of him!”

“LIsa was very amiable and did everything that was requested of her; she also sent over pics of my cat to show that he was doing okay. Would absolutely recommend Lisa for any other pet-sitting jobs.”

“I recently hired Kathleen to look after my two cats while I was away, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience! Kathleen was kind, professional, and clearly passionate about animals. She followed all of my instruction perfectly and provided updates during her daily visits, which helped put my mind at ease. Kathleen ensured my cats felt comfortable and cared for— they warmed up to her quickly!. My cats were happy and healthy when I returned from my trip. I would highly recommend Kathleen!”

“Carole is a phenomenal pet sitter! Our two cats look forward to us leaving thanks to all the care and time she spends with them. We’ve used her for several years and she always goes the extra mile. We highly recommend!”

“Adelle provided great care for our cat Violet again. Helpful communication and appreciated updates. We would not hesitate to book pet care with Adelle. Thank you!”

“Sue was a wonderful sitter to Tangerine and Belle. Tangerine needed special care - she was in her final days and had complex medical needs. Not only did Sue give Tanner the treatments she needed while we were away, she have tons of love and care to both cats. I would have her back any time.”

“This was my second time using Megan, and both times it was a long-ish booking (5-6 days). She is simply an amazing cat sitter and very clearly really loves animals, especially cats. She gives my cats love and playtime to their hearts' content. She is super communicative and attentive to the kitties and their needs. I find her incredibly trustworthy. The kitties and I are lucky to have found her!”

“Chuck did a wonderful job caring for our cats while we were on vacation. Came home to two happy cats who were obviously fed, played with, and given affection. Chuck is a fantastic communicator. He sent a message and pictures with each visit. My family was able to relax because our cats were in good hands.”

“Clare did an amazing job with my two cats! She played with them, brushed them and made sure all the necessities were taken care of. I loved the photos with each report! Will definitely use her again!”

“I had Mackenzie take care of my cat over the holidays, and am so grateful to have found her! She was very attentive to him and was sure to update me while I was away. She took the time to play and snuggle with him to, so I felt good that he was getting the attention he needed while I was out of town. Mackenzie is a warm and caring person who loves all the animals in her life!”

“I have booked with Claudia multiple times and she has been a pleasure to work with. She’s great at communication and makes me feel like my cats are in good hands while I’m away.”

“Amy is wonderful! My cats seldom socialize with anyone other than us sadly, but they were happy to see her daily. We (my husband and I) could tell from the pictures how happy they were. They usually did not come out much for their previous pet sitters. Amy was so nice and lovely to talk to. I knew she loved cats/animals as soon as I met her and I knew my kitties would be in the best hands. We were away for 8 days! That was the longest we have left the kitties. Our neighbors or colleagues were usually watching them when we left town, but we were tired of asking for favors so we decided to go a different route (Rover). We were nervous at first, but this was the best decision we have ever made with pet sitters for our kitties. We hope whenever we go away, Amy is available. Our kitties just loved her! Thank you Rover for connecting us. We look forward to using you again.”

About: I’m a librarian who often works from home, using Rover to fund a charity bib for an upcoming running challenge! All funds will go directly to NMPD (marrow donor registration and matching!) and I’m happy to provide screenshots! I owned a dog for many years as well as majoring in animal behavior in college. Now I have two cats we’ve had since they were 5 months old. I’m an animal lover and will be attentive to all a dog’s or cat’s personal needs. I’m flexible in availability and can offer causal strolls or running “walks” as well as feeding and providing water on visits! Work from home 3 days a week, so my schedule is flexible! Usually free on weekends and happy to chat about making sure your animal gets their needs met as close to their usual routine as possible! I have a lot of space around my apartment to walk a dog, and will take advantage of your local neighborhood or fenced yard for dog exercise! For cats, I will make sure to do a “safety sweep” at visits to ensure safety (nothing too close to counter edges, etc).
