“Lisa did a great job. We liked her right away when she first came to meet us and our two kitties. One of our cats requires a daily medication and Lisa handled that with ease. While we were away, she sent daily updates with photos. Many thanks Lisa!”

“Sue is so great with our timid kitty. She takes a while to warm up to people, but Sue has the magic touch! She has cat sit for us several times, and we couldn’t be happier with the care she provides.”

“We got detailed daily updates on the cats and Rilee was very communicative and consistent with timings of check ins. The cats were happy and healthy when we returned.”

“So grateful that we were able to find Caroline last minute! She was attentive and did a great job of taking care of our cat. We appreciate the pictures that Caroline sent and are looking forward to having her over again!”

About: Plenty of experience with all types of pets! I have been around dogs and cats all of my life and I currently own an AMAZING corgi named Macy. I am very comfortable around all dogs whether they are small or large. I love dogs and will definitely take wayyyy too many pictures of your fur babies. Your pets are your children and I am more than equipped to meet their needs. I lived with 4 dogs before so I’m very used to watching more than 1. Keeping your pets happy is my priority!!! I typically work 8-5pm at Texas a&m and I’m free outside of that! Depending on how close you were I could potentially let the dogs out at lunch. Your pets typically feel most comfortable in their own environment so while I can’t keep them at my house with my current housing restrictions I am more than willing to house sit so that they can feel at ease while you are away.
“Carly is such a sweetheart & took such great care of my little man! When something came up, she still stopped by at the scheduled time to feed him and took extra time to hang out with my cat. Much appreciated :)”

About: My mom is a dog trainer, so I grew up around dogs (and cats and other beings) and learned from her training. Not just how to work with them, but how to build their trust. Just like with humans, care is built on relationship. I'll always take the time to get to know your pet and am a gentle, steady presence. For the past four years, I was so lucky to have an incredible service dog by my side. Sully, a Labrador retriever, was with me 24/7 and we both learned a lot about how to communicate with one another. Sully passed away from kidney disease and cancer this past December, and I miss him tremendously. I'd like to honor his memory by being there for other animal families when they need it. Throughout his illness, I became proficient at giving pills, doing subcutaneous fluids, and adapting our playing to what Sully was up for. Families can count on me to take good care of animals who need extra help. I'm in graduate school Monday-Thursdays, but can offer care first thing in the morning and after 5 pm on weekdays. Most weeks, I can be available throughout Friday-Sunday When caring for pets in their homes, I start by asking their humans to describe their daily routines, what causes the animal stress or delight, and how they'd like their homes to be used. I'll leave things just as I found them. My apartment is small, but we have a big fenced yard. I've got plenty of toys, comfy beds for dogs and cats, water bowls, and treats at home, but I encourage folks to bring over anything that will help their pet feel at home in my place. For walks of more than 15 minutes, I’d likely use my electric wheelchair so that chronic pain doesn’t limit how much of a walk your pup would have.
“Royce did such a great job with my kitty. She was very accommodating on the meet and greet. She also made sure to send photos and give him lots of attention during her drop in. Thank you!”

“Chuck took excellent care of our cat Binx. Great communication. Followed instructions perfectly and came home to a very happy furball. Would highly recommend Chuck to take care of your pets and will absolutely be a repeat client! Thank you! ☺️”

“Sandra did an absolutely wonderful job taking care of our shy kitty, Ramsey. She really made the effort to try to coax him out to get treats and play - and was successful, which is rare! It’s easy to write off our little Ramsey after he shows zero interest in interacting (most folks do) so we really appreciate the extra effort Sandra took with him. We haven’t been able to find a cat sitter able to connect with him for many years and we’re thrilled she was able to do so! It made our trip so much easier knowing our baby was in good hands (and not lonely) back home!”

“Alyson is THE BEST. She has watched my 13 year old cat multiple times and has always been great. My cat is high maintenance and needs a lot of medications, and Alyson takes such great care of her. My cat loves her a lot and Alyson loves her right back, it’s so sweet. I’m so thankful for Alyson and her ability to take care of older kitties :)”

“Stephanie was wonderful! I always get anxious leaving my kitty, but she made me feel more at ease than I ever have before. She sent very thorough updates with many photos and videos showing how much fun they were having together. I can’t recommend Stephanie enough!”

About: I have two cats, one which is a playful cuddle bug and the other is a timid shy cuddle bug. Which means I am equipped with the skills to care for a wide range of cat personalities! I work remote, so I am able to visit in on your furry friend whenever is best for them, I know lots of cats are creatures of habit and I don't want their schedule to change and cause additional stress when you are out of town. I have been known to spend more than the allotted 30mins or 1hr of visit time when a cat is really interacting with me, I want to make sure they are getting all the care and attention before heading out of your place for the visit! I love hanging out with cats, playing with them, and cuddling them when they are missing their owners!! I recently took classes in pet CPR and choking to give ease of minds to owners when they leave their pets in my care. Reach out for any cat sitting needs! I work remote, so I am able to come over whenever is convenient for you and your furry companion. I know most cats and dogs have habits and schedules that make them feel calm, so let me know what I can do to make your furry friend most relaxed during your time away. At home, I have two cats that receive about 1 hour a day of active playtime with me. When they are not in a playing mood, I am the ultimate cuddled while respecting their boundaries when they feel overwhelmed.
“Kathleen was amazing with our cat. She was flexible and punctual. She was thorough in making sure our cat was comfortable while we were away. Very professional. Highly recommended.”

“Ilana was an amazing cat sitter to our two cats. One of them required medical attention unexpectedly and she was so supportive and communicated with us every step of the way. She went above and beyond, even gathering extra supplies as the cats needs changed. Our family was so grateful that we had such great cat care while we were traveling internationally.”

“Longfei and Luning did such an amazing job taking care of my active and very large Cupcake. They sent me videos to keep me updated on how she was doing, and their cats Pocky and Kit Kat were also both so sweet and loving towards Cupcake. I have already booked them again and am so happy to have found such great boarding cat sitters!!”

“Amy was incredible! Very communicative and responsive. She really went above and beyond to take great care of our senior cat while we were away :) We are so grateful and would 10/10 recommend!”

Auburndale cat parents share their Rover experiences
We couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter. Ilana did once-a-day visits for three weeks, and the peace of mind she gave us was priceless. Our cats were happy, relaxed, and clearly so well cared for when we returned home. She kept everything spotless, made sure their routines stayed consistent, and sent thoughtful updates that truly reassured us while we were away. It’s obvious she genuinely cares about animals, and our cats absolutely adored her. We would trust her again in a heartbeat.

Kathleen saved us in a pinch. We had a change in plans about a month before a trip. We usually board our dog and use friends for cat sitting. Our dog is often not friendly to strangers so we needed a housesitter. A few other leads on Rover fell through or didn't have a car. We had a meet and greet with Kathleen and that was all it took. The 2x/day drop-ins worked perfectly and kept both animals safe and sound during a very snowy week. Kathleen is great, you won't be disappointed.

Clare was wonderful with my 2 cats. She followed the instructions well and gave thorough reports (and pictures!) from her check-ins. My cats don’t usually warm up to a new caretaker right away but seemed to really like her. I also appreciate that she came over ahead of time to meet them and review their care instructions. I would definitely book Clare again in the future.

Cressida was terrific and I highly recommend her! My three cats loved her and well cared for by her over the course of five days while we were away. She was responsive, communicative, shared photos of the kitties every day, and follow all of the instructions that I had shared with her during an in person introduction ahead of our vacation. We will definitely hire her again for help when we are out of town!
