INDEPENDENTLY INSURED! 🐕 Pet lovers you can trust with your fur babies while you’re away! We typically host one dog at a time, so your pup gets lots of love and attention in a calm, home-like environment. On some occasions, I may welcome additional dogs but only if owners explicitly approve and I’m confident the pups will be a great match who truly enjoy each other’s company, for a happy, safe, and stress-free experience. (If your dog is friendly with other pups, you’re welcome to reach out on a booked slot to check). Please note that we are not accepting additional dogs over Thanksgiving. From 10/29 through 11/23, and from Christmas through New Year’s, we are already booked with another dog, so your pup should be comfortable boarding with another dog during these dates. The dog staying with us in December is a friendly unneutered toy poodle. Got an active dog? I’ll match their energy with walks, runs, or weekend hikes. More of a chill pup? Cuddles and relaxed nature strolls (with carry breaks if needed) are just as fun. Whatever your dog’s vibe, I’ll make sure they feel relaxed, entertained, and genuinely cared for.

Yick-hong took really good care of my two cats while I was away. His drop-in notes were really detailed and made me feel very reassured that they were in good hands. Would definitely recommend!

Dino had a great stay! We got so many updates, and it was obvious that Dino was very relaxed immediately. Yick-hong was also very flexible when our flight was delayed and we needed to extend Dino’s stay. Definitely will be back!

We had such a wonderful experience with Yick-hong and his wife, what lovely people! Our senior girl hadn’t had a new dog sitter in many years and also had a recent injury so she needed some extra TLC. Within a day or two she was entirely at ease and living her best life! She even had a field trip to sample doggy ice cream. Yick-hong and his wife were very attentive, noticed her tummy seemed a little off related to her medication and communicated about how best to help her. Communication overall was just the right balance, keeping me in the loop without being overwhelming. Truest test of all, at pick up Maisy was happy to see me, but was so relaxed and comfortable she was not in a rush to leave at all!

Schedule
Your pup will have plenty of company! I have a flexible hybrid work schedule and can often work from home if given a heads-up. I also live with my wife, who works fully remote in our condo, so your pup will be pampered with attention. For longer stays, pups should be comfortable spending some time alone (1-2 hrs), as we may occasionally step out for errands, groceries, or meals. If your pup requires more constant care, we’re happy to discuss and see what we can accommodate based on our availability.

I take the time to get to know each pup’s unique needs and routines during the meet-and-greet. I ensure that everything is set for a smooth and comfortable stay, keeping you updated with messages, videos, and photos (photo skills are wife-approved, of course!)
A typical day
We start the day early, so if your dog loves a long morning walk, we’re all in! I stick closely to their regular routine to help them feel right at home. During the day, we keep things fun with plenty of playtime (fetch, tug, or whatever your pup enjoys most). I like to mix up the scenery with neighborhood walks and visits to different parks. If your dog enjoys car rides (and you’re okay with it), we might head out for a hike or explore a new trail a bit farther away.
