“Alyssa was amazing for my dog and me. Highly recommend. I had a last minute business trip and she was able to drop in to save the evening and walk Louie while I was out of town. And it was her first walk with us. She knew just what to ask during the meet and greet and then again right before the walk to make it be a success for her, me and most importantly Louie! Thx!!!!”

“longfei and Luning are so helpful taking care my cat. Everything is done professionally and friendly. Most importantly, she seems to be happy. Will definitely recommend!”

About: Hi! My name is Dora, and I'm a 20-year-old neurobiology student at Boston University. I've been around animals my entire life, growing up in a family that rescued pets. Back home, we currently have two cats and a dog who I miss very much while I'm away at school! In addition to caring for my own pets, I have experience dog sitting and cat sitting. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, cleaning litter boxes, and giving lots of love! I’m currently working part-time, so my schedule is very flexible! I am available in the mornings Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday. I am available in the afternoons and night time Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday. I am currently living in a college apartment where I am not permitted to have any pets. But, I am happy to commute to your place!
“Peaches, my little old Yorkie, took to Jess immediately and they enjoyed a nice walk in the neighborhood. I appreciated her promptness in arriving on time, and her photo that she took of Peaches. Highly recommend!”
“Kylie stopped in to bring my dog Patsy out when I had to work longer shifts at work. She was a great communicator and I felt very comfortable having her care for Patsy. I could tell Patsy loved her too based off how happy she looked in the photos Kylie sent! I would definitely recommend any of her services!”

“Our cat Nell loves Claudia! Claudia agreed to stop in and check in on Nell a week before our trip, pretty much at the last minute and we are so grateful. She is easy to communicate with and takes great care of Nell.”

“I would use Jessica again and again to watch our kittens! She leaves such thoughtful reviews, sends great pictures of the boys having fun, and even offered to take care of litter before we even asked. She is truly the best!”

About: I am a 28 year old dog lover who has had dogs my whole life! I have had multiple bichons as a kid and have spent a ton of time with a variety of family friends breeds! I have trained our dogs growing up with my family and spent a lot of time walking and keeping them busy throwing the ball around as my mom was a writer. I joined Rover to help save up for my September 2027 wedding and are hoping to help out some families with their pets while getting some exercise! Thanks so much for considering! I am an accountant who works 8-5. My break (when I would walk or drop in) is from 12-1. I would also do so before & after work. I have lots of experience with pets and am happy to safely care for your pet however you specify! We crate our pets at night, our yard is fenced in, ETC,

“Devon took such wonderful care of Dutton and Ranch again! She always goes above and beyond and gives us so much peace of mind while we’re away. She’s thoughtful, reliable, and clearly cares so much about our cats. We always come home to happy, well cared for pets and couldn’t recommend her more.”

“Adelle was an excellent caregiver for our aging dog whose loss of hearing and vision causes her to be quite frightened of strangers. Adelle was very kind, reliable, communicative and professional, which allowed us to relax while we were away.”

About: I am a registered nurse with a lifelong love of animals. I have always had pets since I was a little girl. I worked at an animal hospital throughout high school and college, I gained a lot of pet care experience there. I also worked on a farm growing up where I took care of horses, cats and dogs! I know how important it is to trust someone with your animals, as I have 2 kitties I care for very much! I am confident in handling all types of pet personalities and needs. I currently work 3 days per week not on a set schedule. I have 4 days off per week which is why I would love to do dog walking/sitting on those off days! I live in a dog friendly neighborhood in Watertown, MA. I love to walk around Fresh Pond, I also live near several dog parks! I can’t wait to meet your pup :)
“Very kind and eager to be a good pet friend to my two cats while I was away. Also conscientious, making sure all was well with a cat who is more shy these days. House was as I left it!”

“Kristina was wonderful! I needed a sitter fast, and in quick order, she met me at an initial consultation and provided terrific care for my Luma. I definitely recommend!!”

“Avery was awesome! She watched my kitties for multiple days while I was traveling and I came home to very happy and content cats. She brushed and played with them, and gave their oral medications every morning. She always sent a detailed description of each visit with lots of photos. I will be rebooking Avery in the future!”

“Cassie was dependable and on time. She did great with my dogs. I will be hiring her for future pet sitting needs-- although I don't travel often, it is nice having a trusted pet sitter when needed. Highly recommend!”

“Kevin is awesome! Went above and beyond to take care of my two cats. Helped me figure out what was wrong with my auto cleaning litter box. Couldn’t recommend him enough! Thanks again Kevin.”

“Once again Melissa took FANTASTIC care of our Noodle. She gave detailed updates on her checkins, took so many pictures (which we loved because we were missing our pup), and messaged me to confirm she we taking the best care of our little dog - which of course, she was! I totally trust Melissa which allowed me to really enjoy our vacation and it’s clear that Noodle also loves her”

Carol was amazing! She took wonderful care of my dog and cat for a week, sending thoughtful updates, meaningful notes, and great photos throughout. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. My pets were happy and well cared for, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would absolutely book with Carol again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!

Kathleen saved us in a pinch. We had a change in plans about a month before a trip. We usually board our dog and use friends for cat sitting. Our dog is often not friendly to strangers so we needed a housesitter. A few other leads on Rover fell through or didn't have a car. We had a meet and greet with Kathleen and that was all it took. The 2x/day drop-ins worked perfectly and kept both animals safe and sound during a very snowy week. Kathleen is great, you won't be disappointed.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Auburndale with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
