“Danya was terrific! She kept me updated with info and plenty of pictures and exquisitely handled care for 3 cats who had supplements and medications. They were in such great hands with her.”

“Devon took such wonderful care of Dutton and Ranch again! She always goes above and beyond and gives us so much peace of mind while we’re away. She’s thoughtful, reliable, and clearly cares so much about our cats. We always come home to happy, well cared for pets and couldn’t recommend her more.”

“Melissa is terrific! Our dog can be tricky sometimes and my partner and I were originally worried about leaving her with someone else while we were away. Melissa totally assuaged our concerns and multiple times we said to each other “we picked the right person!” Melissa regularly communicated updates and made sure our pup had everything she needed while we were gone. At one point, she let us know that Noodle had an upset stomach. Not only did she give us all the details we asked for and do everything we said Noodle needed, she stayed with our pup for a while to make sure she was feeling better! It was very reassuring to know someone was there caring for our dog just as we would have. I cannot recommend Melissa more! You and your pup will both love her.”

“Claudia is an amazing pet sitter. She's incredibly considerate of our skittish kitty. Giving her plenty of time and space to get comfortable. Thanks to her, Smokie, our adult cat, is in wonderful hands when we're away. Can't recommend her enough!”

“Leanne is such a wonderful sitter for my cat Ellie! She looks after her with so much care and love. I used to feel much more anxious leaving Ellie but now I always know she is in good hands with Leanne.”

“Angelica is a wonderful pet sitter, she is very friendly and responsive. She took good care of my cat and did everything that I requested and more. My cat loved her, and I had a worry-free trip knowing that my cat is in good hands. I will definitely book her again in the future and recommend her to my friends and family! Thank you Angelica!”

About: I love all furry friends - I have a lovely cat, and I enjoy taking care of my friends’ puppies short or long terms. Taking them to long walks is my favorite part! I work on a flexible schedule, so I’m available on most weekday mornings or afternoons. I’d be ou-of-town on some weekends so pls let me know what’s your schedule like if pup needs walks on weekends! I have leashes (non-retractable) for small and medium dogs. I’m confident keeping pups of these sizes safe from traffic / other animals all the time. It’ll definitely be a plus if your pup know some commands!
About: Hi! My name is Dora, and I'm a 20-year-old neurobiology student at Boston University. I've been around animals my entire life, growing up in a family that rescued pets. Back home, we currently have two cats and a dog who I miss very much while I'm away at school! In addition to caring for my own pets, I have experience dog sitting and cat sitting. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, cleaning litter boxes, and giving lots of love! I’m currently working part-time, so my schedule is very flexible! I am available in the mornings Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday. I am available in the afternoons and night time Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday. I am currently living in a college apartment where I am not permitted to have any pets. But, I am happy to commute to your place!

And reward it with treats accordingly. I have a car, live near playgrounds and shopping plazas. I can take it to doggy play date parks in Brookline. I can take naps with it and provide nice companionship!!! I love dogs, and have a few favorites. They are; Yorkies, shitzus, teacup poodles. But I am super nice to all kinds I take on for care. So, you can feel safe leaving your canines with me. Feel free to drop them off or have me dog sit them! It allows me to structure my day to assign time for the dog"s daily activities. I combine both mine and theirs. I make sure they are well taken care of! I love small dogs the best! I look at their care info, and follow through all aspects of it! I also engage them in fun interactions with me. They usually have a blast!
About: Plenty of experience with all types of pets! I have been around dogs and cats all of my life and I currently own an AMAZING corgi named Macy. I am very comfortable around all dogs whether they are small or large. I love dogs and will definitely take wayyyy too many pictures of your fur babies. Your pets are your children and I am more than equipped to meet their needs. I lived with 4 dogs before so I’m very used to watching more than 1. Keeping your pets happy is my priority!!! I typically work 8-5pm at Texas a&m and I’m free outside of that! Depending on how close you were I could potentially let the dogs out at lunch. Your pets typically feel most comfortable in their own environment so while I can’t keep them at my house with my current housing restrictions I am more than willing to house sit so that they can feel at ease while you are away.

Kyra did a great job caring for my two cats, sometimes coming twice a day to feed, water and litter. Kyra also gave ear drops to Nike who had an infection. She sent pictures and was in contact, and I think the cats really liked her. I trust her and would certainly book Kyra again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
