About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a young girl. Growing up, I’ve owned and been trusted to watch a wide range of pets, but I love being around dogs of all ages! I’m currently a graduate student, with classes only taking up half of my week, so I have multiple days I can devote to pet care! Usually, Thursdays/Fridays/Saturdays are my pet days. When entering your home, respect is my top priority. It’s a privilege to be let into your space, and I will respect your home and pet as if they were my own.

About: Hi! My name is Luci, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. As a veterinary technician student and proud dog mom to three dogs over the years, I know how much our pets mean to us. Caring for animals isn't just something I do—it's truly my passion. I love getting to know each dog's unique personality and making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. Whether that means long walks, playtime, belly rubs, or simply keeping them company, I'll care for your pet as if they were my own. Since I'm home from college for the summer, I have a very open and flexible schedule! This allows me to be available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week and on weekends. I love spending my free time with animals, so your pet will get lots of attention, care, and affection while you're away. As a veterinary technician student working toward becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician, I have a strong understanding of animal behavior, health, and safety. Creating a safe, calm, and positive environment is always my top priority. I pay close attention to each pet's individual needs and comfort level, making sure they feel secure, loved, and stress-free while in my care.

About: I've cared for and trained dogs and cats since age 6. I'm comfortable working with all sizes and breeds of dogs and cats, and I absolutely love large breeds. I'm currently self-employed, so I have a very flexible schedule. I'll work in my work around your and your dog's schedule. Some weekends, I'm taking my kids to a tennis tournament, so I may not be available, or might need to reschedule. I have a large, furnished basement for your dog to run around in and explore, and there's a large soccer field across the street. If I'm visiting your home, I will work with your layout to insure your dog gets enough activity and has some fun!

About: I grew up with a variety of different pets; dogs, cats, fish, etc. I also rode horses and volunteered at my local humane society from the age of eight. I love animals of all kinds and am currently working on my wildlife rehabilitation certification. I have an active lifestyle and am at my happiest immersing myself in nature in rain or shine. I have two cats of my own and frequently care for my friends' and family members fur-babies. I look forward to getting to know yours also! I am a freelance violinist and violin teacher, so my schedule is self-built and fairly flexible! A lot of my work is individual practice (I even have a special mute that I attach to my instrument which dampens the violin sound for the more sensitive pet ears.) I am an active person and love to go on walks, trail hikes and runs with an animal companion, ideally a couple times a day. I have a station wagon with a dog-friendly back hatch so I can drive reasonable distances with your pet, to parks or to the vet in an emergency. Since I grew up with animals in my family, it is second nature for me to incorporate animals' daily needs into my schedule and I do not consider it a burden. I am a neat, respectful and handy person. If I am invited into your home, I will treat it with the utmost respect and ensure that your household routines and expectations are consistently met. I am flexible and will be happy to adapt to a schedule that fits the needs of you and your pet in a non-disruptive way. Your pet will be in safe hands, and I will communicate with you as frequently as you wish, sending updates and pictures on request or at a pre-determined frequency that suits you.

About: I have hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs. As a cat owner of two, I’m very familiar with daily feeding routines, litter box maintenance, playtime, and recognizing changes in behavior to make sure they’re happy and healthy. In addition to caring for my own cats, I’ve also looked after two medium-to-large dogs for friends. This included feeding, walks, playtime, providing companionship, and making sure they stayed on their regular routines while their owners were away. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and needs, and I always strive to provide patient, attentive, and loving care so they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Pet care is already a part of my everyday life as I care for my two cats. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to plan my day around the pets I’m caring for. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, or simply keeping them company, I enjoy making sure they get the attention and care they need. For drop-in visits, I focus on keeping your pet’s routine as consistent as possible while you’re away. During each visit, I’ll make sure they have fresh food and water, clean up after them as needed (including litter box cleaning for cats), provide playtime, affection, and companionship, and make sure they’re happy and comfortable. I’m happy to follow any specific instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications (if needed), or your pet’s preferences.

It was December when our two cats, Martha and Rosie, filled our home and hearts with joy. Since then we haven’t traveled for longer than a couple of nights. This was our first experience with the rover app and Ann Marie. We cannot be happier and relieved from our very positive experience. Ann Marie took great care of our two girls. From the moment she came for the initial house visit, to her amazing and open dialogue during our vacation. Certainly put things at ease. Martha is usually afraid of strangers, but she warmed up to Ann Marie by the end of the week. We looked forward to our daily updates with many great pictures of them. We will definitely use Ann Marie’s services for every trip. Thank you!!

About: Dogs are welcome to snuggle on my bed and furniture during their stay, ensuring they feel at home and comfortable. They enjoy daily walks, allowing them to explore the neighborhood and stay active. With a spacious backyard to run and play in, your dog will have plenty of room to burn off energy and enjoy their time here. I provide a relaxed and loving environment, so your dog can feel safe, happy, and well-cared for while you're away. I’m available most weekends and can start boarding pets on Thursday evenings at 7:30 PM, giving you flexibility for early weekend getaways. I’m also usually home during major holidays, so you can count on me to provide dependable care when you need it most. Whether it's a short trip or a longer stay, I ensure your pet feels comfortable, loved, and well-cared for throughout the year. With my flexible schedule and commitment to your pet’s well-being, you’ll always have peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. In my home, your pet will enjoy a warm, welcoming environment with plenty of love and attention. I have a friendly French Bulldog who gets along well with other pets, providing companionship for your fur baby during their stay. If your pet prefers their own space or needs crate training, I also have a crate available for them to use, ensuring they feel secure and comfortable. I offer a balance of freedom and structure, allowing pets to roam freely, play in the backyard, or relax in a quiet area if needed. Whether they need companionship or privacy, I tailor the care to suit your pet’s individual preferences and comfort level.

About: I am new to Rover, but I grew up with both cats and dogs and genuinely love both equally. As I’ve gotten older and needed pet sitters of my own, I appreciate the trust that goes into making sure your pet is taken care of while you’re not home. I recently made a career shift from medical device sales to pursuing veterinary medicine as this is something I’m passionate about. Your pets will get the same care and attention to detail that I give my own. I’m going back to school so I have a good amount of flexibility. I’m here to help make sure your pet stays on as close to a normal schedule as possible! I appreciate detailed instructions and the most important thing to me is making sure I give your pet exactly what you need me to give them. Need the food weighed and some meds administered? Got it. Need me to sprint around with them so they can burn some energy? No problem. Whatever you need from me, no matter how unique the request may be to you, I’ve got it.

Grace did a great job taking care of my senior cat Dagny. She is still very active, although shy, yet Grace was able to make friends with Dagny, treated her and even got to groom a bit. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
