“Karen was amazing! Super communicative and reliable - she also went above and beyond in cleaning up when our kitty made a mess and send great photos and videos that helped us feel comfortable and confident in her services. We could tell our kitty appreciated her visits as well!”

About: I have always loved dogs and even have a dog of my own. I am extremely patient and consider myself to be kind. I work as a kindergarten teacher so I am used to taking care of things and tending to their needs. As a kindergarten teacher, I have lots of free time on weekends and school breaks, and I figured the best use of my time would be to do something I already enjoy doing and also help other people out as well. Since I already own a dog of my own I am very conscientious of what dogs can or cannot do, eat, or be near. I try to play with them as much as possible and be friendly with them so they feel comfortable around new people.
“Anna is our dog's favorite human other than us! She is so kind, so accommodating, and such a warm presence. I never worry when I leave my dogs with her, and they can't wait to see her again!”

About: I have taken care of friends’ dogs during trips and overnight visits, feeding, playing with, and walking them. I love spending time with pets and am open to caring for any type of dog. I’m currently looking for temporary work and have a lot of free time! Available for day visits as well as overnight, whatever is needed. I am a gentle and adaptable animal lover and I enjoy playing with, caring for, and spending time with dogs and cats of all kinds.
About: I’ve had cats, dogs, and hamsters and I am willing to experience a lot more! Don’t worry, I always enjoyed animals and providing them with love and care, so your mind will be at ease when you are away. I recently completed school but I also work a per diem job. Aside from studying to receive my certification, I have plenty of time to be with your cute companions, and spend time with them. Who knows, maybe while we’re together we can become the best study buddies. I am extremely flexible and always willing to discuss further if you have interest in booking. As I’ve had plenty of experience with Cats, I’m well aware of choking hazards on string like materials. I try to keep items like this out of reach! I am very clean when it comes to my space and noticed that this helps as some kitty’s can be a little curious and knock things off surfaces. When things are put away correctly there’s less chance for mess or danger. I am still gaining some experience with Dogs and puppies. As far as safety, I only do leashed walks to not only protect your pup but others who may be passing by as well! Again, I'm pretty organized and will avoid leaving items out, especially food! I know some animals are very food motivated and leaving food products out can be dangerous.
About: Hi! I'm a recent graduate who lives with a senior cat; I have a lot of experience with senior pets, special needs pets, medication administration, etc. I'm able to exercise with and play however your dog likes! I've been pet sitting and walking dogs for my friends and family (and Wag!) for over a decade (dog in the profile picture is my brother's dog Kuma!) Pets bring me so much joy and I want to help take care of them as a community effort :) I'm here to build trust, please ask any questions 🫰 I am a gig worker currently, therefore very flexible—request me and there's a high chance I'll be available! I'm around weekends and weekdays, my own cat has plenty of alternate caregivers. I would not be able to host pets in my home, but would follow any rules at clients homes to make pets feel safe and regulated :) consistency helps them and me!

About: Hi everyone! My name is Shaelin and I’m looking forward to be your new dog & cat sitter! I’ve grown up with pets my entire life. My family had 2 cats when I was a child that were with us for 16 years. We then adopted a black and white cat and 2 black cats that are brother and sister. 6 years ago when he was 4 months old, we adopted Patton , our very loved pit bull mix. I love animals and would enjoy sitting for any breed, size, and personality. :) I’m currently working full-time, but I’m available after work and on weekends. I have a flexible hybrid work schedule, so I can stay at your house and work if need be. I’m available weekends if given ample time in advance. I can crate your dog if needed and allow them bathroom breaks if you have a fenced-in backyard. I’m able to walk your dog when needed. I’m also easily able to follow any security rules you may have in place to help keep both dog and sitter safe.
“Felicia came over to meet Willow, myself and to see the house before the drop in visit. She was super friendly, Willow loved her and she gave me an update of everything before she left.”

About: I grew up in a home with dogs, cats, bunnies, hens and roosters. I have never lived without caring for an animal! I love being outside, going for walks, playing and gardening. I am a mom of two school-aged boys and a proud owner of two tuxedo kitties whom we adopted nine years ago. I work part-time in the afternoons as an outdoor preschool art specialist. I am free between 9:30 am, and 1 pm everyday, and Wednesday and Thursday until 3 pm! I may also have early evenings free starting at the end of June. I have plenty of time in my schedule to help you care for your animals. Looking forward to meeting them! I am fun, gentle, playful and caring, and have a good instinct for what dogs and cats need. I can read body language and am sensitive to energy. I look forward to learning more about your pets from you, getting to know them and forging a relationship.

“Ella took wonderful care of our two cats while we were away. Ella was reliable, attentive, and clearly loves animals, our cats were happy, relaxed, and well fed the whole time. Ella sent updates and photos and a video, which put our minds at ease. Highly recommend Ella for anyone needing a trustworthy, caring cat sitter!”
“I'm very thankful for Wanda because I was away overseas and my previous sitter had to cancel.. this was not a situation any pet parent should ever be put through and I was able to get ahold of Wanda who came to the rescue even without me being there to show her the procedure for taking care of my 2 cats. (Granted, I had a Youtube video giving an overview of the process and I gave her the codes to my lockbox and my home alarm which all went smoothly.)”

We love working with Sarah! She’s extremely capable, professional, and communicative. Our dogs very much enjoy her visits, and she handles their medications, mobility issues, and particular quirks very capably! We can travel with peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands.
Felicia took the time to do a meet and greet and also took great care of our three crazy pups while we were out. Very communicative and sent lots of photos, we don’t let many people watch our dogs so was very thankful Felicia was so great with them, highly recommend!

Ginny has watched our dog and two cats multiple times. She is extremely trustworthy, communicative, and reliable… and best of all she loves on them and gives them attention like we would! We feel good about going out of town knowing that Ginny will be watching over our furry family members. We have had her in our home overnight for multiple nights and she left it spotless. We only have great things to say about Ginny and Pax, Piper, and Gino agree!

Carmen and Alex are great communicators - they respond quickly to messages through the app which is always reassuring. They took excellent care of our crazy little guy, Pax, and really seemed to enjoy his company as well. We felt very comfortable leaving him under their watch. :)

Sophie was awesome with our dog Zeus for home visits and dog-walking. She was super attentive to Zeus’s needs and provided constant detailed updates on how he was doing. She helped my husband and I during our wedding weekend, which was so important so we didn’t have the additional stress of worrying about our dog. This allowed us to be present for all of our wedding festivities. We would definitely recommend Sophie!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
