About: I've been caring for animals since I was 12, when I started pet sitting for neighbors, and I never stopped! I grew up with two dogs and two cats who are still very much part of the family, and I've fostered dogs, which taught me how to earn the trust of nervous animals, manage house-training and crate routines, and stay calm when a pup needs extra patience. I'm comfortable with dogs and cats of all ages and energy levels: puppies, seniors, high-energy walkers, medication schedules, and the shy ones who need a little time before they warm up. I'll send photo updates so you know exactly how your pet's day is going. I'm currently a law student, which means a lot of my work is done from a laptop; I can give your pet real company during the day rather than a quick drop-in and out. I treat every animal like one of my own, and I'll follow your routines exactly as you'd do them yourself. Until August, I have a very open schedule for both weekdays and weekends. Once classes start in September, I will have availability mostly in the afternoons during the week and anytime on weekends. In my home (boarding & daycare): I'm in an apartment with no pets of my own, which means your dog gets undivided attention and never has to negotiate with a resident dog over space, toys, or food. There's no fenced yard, so I take potty breaks and walks to a park a few blocks away, leashed the whole way, and on a schedule that matches what your dog is used to at home rather than a fixed house routine. My place is pet-proofed before every stay: cords tucked away, trash and cleaning supplies latched or out of reach, nothing left on counters, and doors and windows checked before your dog is off-leash inside. If your dog is crate-trained and you'd like them crated while I'm out, bring their crate and I'll use it exactly the way you do because a familiar crate is far more comforting than a strange one. If they're used to being loose, that's fine too. At night they sleep wherever they're used to sleeping, whether that's a bed on the floor, their crate, or next to me. My schedule shifts with my class and exam load, so I'll tell you honestly what a given week looks like before you book. Some days I'm home nearly all day; on others I'm out for a few hours at a stretch. You'll always know which one you're getting. In your home (drop-ins, walks & house sitting): Same principle, your rules. I follow your instructions exactly: feeding amounts and times, medications, crate routine, off-limits rooms, and any quirks I should know about. I like to do a meet and greet first so your pet can get comfortable with me and you can show me where supplies are, how the locks work, and who to call in an emergency. Keys and codes stay private, and I never bring anyone else into your home. On walks: Leashed at all times unless it's a fenced area you've approved, with a collar and harness check before we head out. I stay off my phone except for photos, watch for traffic, loose dogs, and whatever's been left on the sidewalk, and adjust the route for heat, cold, and your pet's age and energy. I always clean up. Updates: Photos and a short note every visit or day. If anything seems off, you'll hear from me right away, and I'll have your vet's information on hand before the booking starts.

“Stacy was wonderful. We’re new to Rover and we’re new to her, so there was a lot information to convey. She made time for it and asked all the right questions. She did a wonderful job taking care of our cats!”

About: I've been caring for animals for many years and have experience with a wide variety of species. I've been handling and looking after dogs and cats since I was 12 years old, giving me years of hands-on experience with pets of all ages, personalities, and needs. Whether it's feeding, walking, playtime, administering basic care, or simply providing companionship, I always make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I currently have a cat of my own, so I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to provide reliable, attentive, and compassionate care while you're away. I'm currently taking some time between finishing graduate school and starting my postdoctoral position, which means I finally have something scientists rarely get—free time! I've decided to spend it doing something I genuinely enjoy: caring for animals. This flexible schedule allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to each pet, whether that's stopping by for visits, playing, feeding, administering medication, or simply keeping them company. I know every dog/cat has their own personality (from "cuddle enthusiast" to "please admire me from across the room"), and I'm happy to adapt to whatever makes them feel most comfortable. For me, pet sitting is the perfect way to combine my love of animals with helping fellow pet owners have peace of mind while they're away. Your pet's safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I understand that every cat is different, so I take the time to learn their individual personality, preferences, and daily routine to help them feel as relaxed as possible while you're away. When caring for pets in a client's home, I respect both your home and your pet's established routine. I'll follow all feeding schedules, walks/litter box maintenance, playtime, medication instructions, and any special requests you have. I also make sure doors, windows, and gates are secure at all times and keep a close eye on your dog's/cat's behavior and well-being. I'm happy to provide regular photo and video updates so you can see how your dog/cat is doing and have peace of mind while you're away. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, cared for, and loved until you're back home.
About: Before you book with me, you should know why I’m a sitter on Rover! I’m a lifelong dog lover and former dog mom to a very energetic Goldendoodle who was the center of my world. My life revolved around long walks, games of fetch, park adventures, and plenty of snuggles, so I understand how important it is to find someone who will care for your dog like family. I work from home 2–3 days a week, so your pup will have lots of company and won’t be left alone for long stretches. While I don’t have a yard, I believe dogs deserve more than just a quick walk around the block. Every stay includes at least one trip to a local park each day for fetch, exploring, or simply getting their energy out. I welcome small to medium-sized dogs that are friendly with young children, as I have a toddler at home. Whether your dog is full of energy or happiest curled up on the couch, they’ll get plenty of love, attention, and cuddles while they’re here. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone, and I’ll treat them as if they were my own. 🐾 Size wise, I will accept dogs that are up to 50-55 lbs. I will facilitate at least a 1 hour walk during the day, plus two other potty breaks. We will get lots of play during the day if I work from home and if not, at the end of the day. I am happy to prepare food puzzles or play tug or hang out on the couch. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I only care for small to medium sized dogs that are friendly with young children, as I have a toddler at home. I don’t have a fenced yard, but all outdoor time is supervised and on leash (off leash can be done in safe places), with plenty of walks and park visits. I’ll follow your dog’s routine, feeding schedule, medications, and any special instructions to help them feel safe, comfortable, and right at home. I only accept one dog at a time so each one gets the attention they deserve.
“Sara was so thoughtful and caring, beyond my expectations! I really appreciated how she went the extra mile. I definitely would recommend her and hope she is available in the future, should I need her. She was great! Thanks Sara!”

About: I’ve taken care of my family’s bich-poo since I was in fifth grade, and I’ve helped care for various friends’ pets when in need for the last 8 years. My dog is also diabetic, so I could help with any diabetes-specific care. I’m currently a part-time student, so my schedule is very flexible outside of my 8am-1:30pm class schedule. On weekends, I am mostly free during the day with the occasional weekend ski trip. I have several dog-loving roommates, and plenty of parks in my neighborhood to play at. My apartment is spacious and a great environment for a dog.
“Delaney did a wonderful job taking care of my cat, Ralph. She was very communicative, followed all of my instructions, and kept me updated with daily photos and messages. It gave me great peace of mind knowing Ralph was in such good hands while I was away. I would absolutely use her services again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.”

“Jessica walked our dog several times when we were away and was very responsive from booking to her visits. Murph had a great time and he was well taken care of! We'd definitely book her again.”

About: I grew up in a home with dogs, cats, bunnies, hens and roosters. I have never lived without caring for an animal! I love being outside, going for walks, playing and gardening. I am a mom of two school-aged boys and a proud owner of two tuxedo kitties whom we adopted nine years ago. I work part-time in the afternoons as an outdoor preschool art specialist. I am free between 9:30 am, and 1 pm everyday, and Wednesday and Thursday until 3 pm! I may also have early evenings free starting at the end of June. I have plenty of time in my schedule to help you care for your animals. Looking forward to meeting them! I am fun, gentle, playful and caring, and have a good instinct for what dogs and cats need. I can read body language and am sensitive to energy. I look forward to learning more about your pets from you, getting to know them and forging a relationship.
“We had just moved to Boston and needed a needed a dog-sitter on short notice for our Great Dane pup, Gordon, and David crushed it! He is super-patient and confident with our big boy and expertly communicative. David will always be our “go to!””

“Alexandra was so great with Maker! She always included pictures from her visits and answered quickly when I messaged her for any reason. She was great! Occasionally a little late with scheduled times but that doesn't bother Maker at all so she was perfect for us!”

“Corrina and Tracy take the best care of my puppy Jade! They go above and beyond to make sure she is happy and entertained while they watch her and they provide excellent updates on how she did. Thanks!”

“Michael is great! Responded to my request to check in on my cats so promptly and I felt secure knowing my cats were in good hands. Got lots of pictures and updates. I definitely recommend booking with him!”

I will make sure I’m monitoring my request and a give a same day response as to my availability. I do work part time so it’s possible this may affect availability. I love to pet and play with animals, every animal is different though so I make sure to be aware of body language. Whatever the animal needs I’m there wether it’s walks, play, or usually attention

I needed last-minute care for my dogs, and they were incredibly helpful and responsive. Meaghan communicated well throughout the visit, and sent plenty of updates and photos, which gave me great peace of mind. Most importantly, my dogs were comfortable with her right away, and it was clear they were well cared for. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!

Gabriel was wonderful with my pups! He was very communicative and flexible with my whacky schedule, and he took the time to come over in advance to meet them first and introduce himself so they wouldn’t be meeting a strange for the first time during their drop in. I can’t recommend him highly enough!

Eleanor went above and beyond to make the drop-in all around perfection for my dog! She was on time, stayed the full time, handled all of the care items asked and then some. I know from the photos she shared that my dog had the very best time and felt loved and cared for while mom was gone! Will definitely be re-booking with Eleanor!
