Oscar provided daily video updates that allowed me to know how well Rubix was doing, which really eased my mind while I was away. Oscar was always very communicative and always responded to all of my messages within minutes - he was also very generous in being flexible with the dog sitting schedule (as I was concerned I might not make it back from traveling due to a recent blizzard), which helped reduce any stress I might have felt if I didn’t pick him up when I originally said I would. He told me not to worry, and that he would work with me if I needed to make any adjustments to the schedule. You can tell through the videos that both him and his wife have a genuine love of dogs. We never feel nervous about going away when our dogs are staying with Jess. She is absolutely wonderful! Jess is so caring and nurturing and treats our dogs as if they were her own. They truly become part of her family! Also, Jess is careful to follow any notes I send and makes sure they get plenty of potty breaks, exercise, and attention while we are away. She will update you often, but now that we have entrusted our dogs with her so many times, I no longer feel the need for frequent updates because I know they are in the very best hands. Her home has truly become our dogs' "home away from home," and I really couldn't recommend her more highly!
Jason took excellent care of Nate while we were gone to NY. Nate is sensitive to fireworks and can get anxious with new people. He also gets up a bit early in morning. He took care of all his needs and also developed a close bond with him. I really appreciate all his efforts in boarding him and making him comfortable like his second home.
IG was absolutely amazing with my Juju, her attention to detail was next to none. I felt carried along at every turn and for the anxiety I had because my bub was injured. Fionna was extremely communicative and caring. Our dog chuy had a hot spot when we dropped him off and she made sure to look after it and keep us updated on the progress. She gave Chu plenty of walks and welcomed him into her home as one of her own. Her dog Oyster is very cute and got along with Chuy! Would definitely recommend.
Julia was great with Clara! She accommodated changing schedules with me, both at drop-off and pickup. She followed my random suggestions to help with Clara’s initial anxiety and then got to see Clara’s playful side come out. Clara actually didn’t want to leave with me (partially guilt-tripping, but partially because she seemed to love it so much). Highly recommend Julia for anyone who needs someone great for their pet!
