My name is Dana, and Lyonas Playhouse was created in loving memory of my childhood dog, Lyonas, whose joyful spirit inspired everything we do today. Caring for him taught me the importance of love, structure, and play in every dog’s life. At Lyonas’s Playhouse, our mission is to provide each dog with a safe, happy, and comfortable stay. From daily walks and park adventures to cozy downtime indoors, we make sure every pup feels at home. We also take pride in keeping dogs clean, well groomed, and stress free throughout their visit. Your dog will enjoy plenty of exercise at the large park around the corner, along with opportunities to socialize and play if other friendly dogs are around. You can trust that your furry friend will be cared for like family and return to you even happier than when you dropped them off! Great communication both pre dog watch with an FaceTime intro and pictures during the visit. Wonderful calm and trusting demeanor. I don’t board my dog frequently but 100% would rebook next time I am traveling!

Dana agreed to take my dogs last minute without ever meeting them. That in itself was so great! We were so lucky. He made sure to keep me in the loop with pictures and videos. He talked about specific parts of my dog’s personalities, so as their Mum I knew they were feeling very comfortable with him. I would absolutely book again!!
Dana was fabulous! I was very anxious about boarding my dog as he really had only been away for one weekend before, but he did beautifully with Dana. He made me feel comfortable and took great care of my fur baby. Dana provided me with a daily update which is really nice to receive and this may include a photo or brief video. We will come back again for sure! Peace of mind is absolutely necessary with our furry friends and I found it w Dana!
Thor was very well taken care of and pictures were sent daily. I would highly recommend and will be using Dana again in the future!

I personally care for the dogs in the mornings and evenings, and my family helps throughout the day to ensure each pup is safe, comfortable, and loved😊

I grew up in a big family with seven siblings and my parents, but now that everyone’s moved out, our spacious home has become the perfect place to host doggies! 🐶💕 I run Lyonas’s Playhouse alongside my girlfriend, we share a Rover account, and you’ll probably see her in many of our videos, so be sure to say hi! 😄 Together, we make sure every dog is safe, loved, and cared for around the clock. Our yard is fully fenced with fresh green grass, perfect for playtime and potty breaks. We keep a clean, pet-friendly environment with no hazardous materials, ensuring every pup can relax and enjoy their stay. If you’re ever running late, just communicate with us, we totally understand life happens, and we’ll do the same for you. 😊 At night, puppies or dogs with pica (who may chew unsafe items) are guided into a crate for their safety. If your dog isn’t crate-tolerant or has any special safety concerns, please let us know through the Rover app before booking so we can plan the best setup for them. 🐾💛 (For all other dogs, our home is their playground, they’re free to roam, play, and relax just like family!)
A typical day
A typical fun day with the dogs starts with a sunrise walk, followed by games of fetch, belly rubs, and a visit to the dog park. We finish the day relaxing, watching TV, or snuggling on the couch together!
