About: I first started caring for dogs when I was 11 and my family adopted our then 12-week old puppy, Tulip (beagle-hound mix). I was the primary one responsible for her feeding and afternoon walks throughout middle and high school. I also routinely dog sat for neighbors who at the time had a senior poodle, providing daily drop ins and walks. Since moving to Boston, I have been fortunate to become a regular dog walker for neighbors and friends, with experience walking shihtzus, German shepherds, labs, and boxers. While I now own two cats, I would love to get outside and enjoy the summer weather with some new four-legged friends! I work for the public schools, so I am off all summer! I am happy to provide drop-ins or walks throughout the morning and afternoon M-F, with some availability on select Saturday and Sunday afternoons. **School ends on June 26th this year - on dates marked as available prior to June 26th, I can only accommodate afternoon walks between 2:30-7pm. I have cared for puppies all the way up through seniors dogs in their final days, so I am happy to accommodate the specific needs of your dog based on age and temperament. It is my existing habit to send a photo to friends of their dogs every time I visit or take them on a walk, as a way of making sure they know I have actually completed the service and their dog has been properly cared for!

About: I have dog sat for various relatives and friends over the years, as well as worked at dog day cares for 3 years. Good at providing a calm environment for dogs and have picked up training techniques from my old boss at the dog daycare. Had a dog of my own for 13 years and know various locations to walk and adventure, as well as a great sense of my neighborhood. I’m trustworthy and will provide good care for your dog. I have a car and am able to drive realtively far to come to your needs. The dogs will be in safe care under my watch. I look forward to meeting and helping out dog owners. I have a flexible availability and am patient. I’m not returning to office until February 9th and have plenty of time in the meantime to care for your pets! Upon returning to work, I will be available weekday evenings & all day on weekends unless otherwise indicated. For drop in visits, I am respectful and cognizant of client’s homes. I foster a safe environment, and am patient when working with your pet(s).

About: Ever since I was a kid, friends and family have trusted me with their beloved pets. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, dogs who prefer to be the only pup in the room, and multi-dog households. My husband and I are proud pawrents to our sweet 50lb rescue, Charlie! (and we like to say he rescued us as much as we rescued him!) Being a rescue, he has fearful tendencies. Because of this, I've come to understand dog behavior on a deeper level and know how to ensure your pup remains safe, comfortable, and confident in all settings! I’m fortunate to work fully remotely, which gives me the flexibility to incorporate pet care naturally into my daily routine. I genuinely love animals, and spending time with them is something I look forward to. It’s a great way to step away from my desk, recharge both mentally and physically, and come back to work refreshed. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping a pet company, I’m able to be present and attentive with them! I’m a natural caregiver and love animals of all kinds. Since we live in an apartment without a fenced yard, Charlie enjoys at least four walks a day. We’re lucky to be close to parks and the Neponset Trail, so he gets plenty of new places to explore! I’ll give your pet the same level of enrichment—long walks with fresh scents, playtime, cuddles, feeding, and plenty of love.

I’ve been dog sitting since I was young, helping care for family pets over the years and building strong, trusting relationships with them. I’m attentive, reliable, and I take the responsibility of caring for someone’s pet seriously because I know they’re part of the family. My schedule leans more morning heavy so I am highly available in afternoons and evenings Monday through Saturday! I make sure the home stays safe and secure at all times, either by keeping doors locked, being mindful during walks, or never leaving pets unattended in unsafe situations. I also focus on creating a calm, consistent presence so the dog feels relaxed and comfortable while their owner is away! My goal is to make the experience as stress free as possible by keeping things familiar, structured, and full of care and attention.

About: Hey there – my name is Nancy, and I’ve taken care of dogs the majority of my life. Starting with my childhood dog, Bandit, a mixed Shepard. As an adult I had a pit bull/boxer mix, Vedder. I had Vedder for 12 years. After Vedder, I had a beagle/boxer mix, Killian. I currently do not have a dog of my own. This gives me plenty of time to take care of your dog I am an experienced sitter, and did walker who you can trust to take amazing care of your pup. I take any (and all) opportunities to snuggle and go on fun adventures with dogs. Some people have told me I’m a dog whisperer at times… I have yet to prove them wrong. I’m currently not working. This gives me plenty of time to spend with your pet. I’m available both days and nights to watch, walk or play with your dog. To ensure the safety and well-being of pets under my care, I would first familiarize myself with each pet’s specific needs, behaviors, and any medical conditions. This includes understanding their diet, exercise routine, allergies, or medications they may be on. During walks, I would keep them on a leash at all times. Moreover, for both walks and sitting sessions, I’d maintain regular communication with the pet owners by providing updates and promptly reporting any unusual behavior. Maintaining vigilance, open communication, and being prepared for unexpected situations are crucial aspects of ensuring the safety and well-being of pets under my care. I am not a certified dog trainer, but I did successfully train my pit bull/boxer, Vedder, and my beagle/boxer, Killian. When you board your dog with me, you can expect a quality stay. Your dog will not only be well looked after, they will go on some cool walking adventures. I’m located near three beaches, and three parks. One of the parks has a bike/walking path. I keep the owner updated with pics and text. I also use a walking app that shows where we walked, how far we walked and how long we walked. When you leave your dog in my care, you can enjoy your vacation knowing that your dog is also having fun.
