“Charlotte was great with Finn! They were fast friends :) she was timely, friendly, and took great care of him. Comforting to know I have a reliable dog walker and that Finn is well taken care of (when I’m at work). Thank you so much!!”

“I recommend Allison for your cat care. She was punctual, personal and played with Leo each time she came. She also brought in our mail and newspapers. I hope she will be available to care for Leo when we have need in the future. Thank you Allison!”

“Kelly was literally a last minute booking! She was great and was able to take our guy out for a pee break and a little running around time. She sent lots of photos and communicated throughout the process. Thanks, Kelly!”

“Grace was wonderul! She was able to check in on my dog on short notice and was incredibly reliable and communicative throughout the visit. I would definitely book with Grace again!”

“Deb is patient and understanding with my pups during her visits, especially with two completely opposite personalities! She cleans up after herself and the doggos and leaves our home better than we left it. Very communicative and excellent number of photos!”

“This is the second time, we've used William to drop in for our cat. She's super shy and runs away when strangers come into the house, but William has been good with just feeding her and making sure she has what she needs!”

“I’m someone who has anxiety when it comes to leaving my pet for any amount of time. But Tiffany has I think cured me of that problem. My cat immediately took to her during the meet & greet and then seemed to do better with each drop in visit. Tiffany is an absolute gem. She took wonderful care of my Ren. She sent me several pictures following each drop in visit and gave me a very descriptive summary following each one. I will definitely book with Tiffany again and I highly highly recommend her without hesitation.”

“Rebekah was very communicative, careful, and patient with our dogs. She went above and beyond by staying with our pups so they could get some time and affection while we were at work, and she took model quality photos! Would recommend her to anyone in the Quincy/South Boston area looking for extra help with their dogs.”

About: I've watched my friends dogs, my families animals. I love being around them and being able to have fun and go outside and play with them! I work a 9-5 Monday through Friday job but it is very lienant and I get holidays off. I have free time in the morning and night! I live right near a park and trails. My house is secure and quite. Big enough for a animal to stay here. Plenty of outdoor activities!!

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Quincy
Catherine was so beyond amazing with my cat, Domino! It was my first time on the owner side of Rover and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Catherine was punctual, responsive, and extremely thorough with each visit. Domino loved playing with her! I’ll definitely use Catherine again and I would highly recommend her for anyone who wants the best for their pets 😊

This was my first time going away for a week since having my cat, Remy. I was nervous but chose William based on his reviews and many repeat customers. He did not disappoint! By the end of the week he won over my shy cat. I was comforted by his picture updates. He kept Remy fed, her litter box clean and my house clean! When Remy got sick, he cleaned it up. I also noticed he cleaned up the area where Remy eats (she is a messy eater)! Definitely book with William!! Thanks William!!

Grace is super friendly, arrived early, and my dog absolutely loved her. I really appreciated that her calendar accurately reflected her availability, which made booking so easy. It gives me great peace of mind knowing my dog will be in such good hands while I’m away. Can’t wait to have her back!

Tiffany was absolutely wonderful! She was great with our diabetic cat, able to check blood sugar and administer his insulin perfectly. She took the time to play with both cats, even getting the more shy one out! She left great notes of the visit and took lots of pictures.

Eduarda was an incredible cat sitter. From the moment Eduarda stepped into my home, my cat Chloe came to greet her (something unusual, but really good, especially since Chloe is shy with strangers). My Chloe is also a little bit older and requires a lot of attention – Eduarda made sure to make her feel loved and cared for. The check-ins were detailed and always on time. I felt safe leaving my Chloe’s care in Eduarda’s hands… highly recommend.

Erin was amazing, she treated my cats as if they were her own! She took awesome care of them, was very attentive during her visits, and even sent photo updates of how they were doing. I would definitely recommend her to friends and family, as well as personally book her services again!

Madison from the moment I first spoke with her showed intent interest in making sure to try to get to know and understand my dog as best as she could. She has an innate talent and comfort around animals and was able to get my boy to trust her within minutes of them first meeting. She always took the time to make sure he was cared for and looked after and always went above and beyond to make sure he was always looked after. I will always feel comfortable having her look after my dog and am confident any pet in her care is in good hands.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Quincy. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
