“This is the second time, we've used William to drop in for our cat. She's super shy and runs away when strangers come into the house, but William has been good with just feeding her and making sure she has what she needs!”

“Charlotte was great with Finn! They were fast friends :) she was timely, friendly, and took great care of him. Comforting to know I have a reliable dog walker and that Finn is well taken care of (when I’m at work). Thank you so much!!”

About: We have an almost 3 year old Schipperke/Pomeranian named Bane. We make Bane's food and make sure he eats his fruits and veggies. We absolutely LOVE dogs! We'll take care of yours like they were our own! We are available 7 days a week/365 days a year. We have experience in taking care of dogs with wheelchairs (Our Eskie had degenerative disc disease in his back). We also have experience in administering any needed shots (i.e. diabetes). There are lots of fun, residential streets to walk down and we live close to lots of parks. We are also very close to the beach so we can walk there too! We're excited to meet you and look forward to our visit and/or walk! Woof, woof, woof!
“Kelly is the absolute best! My boyfriend forgot to put the lock box on the door 🤦🏼♀️ Kelly was so understanding and Blue was so happy to see her again! She always goes above and beyond and it’s such a relief knowing Blue is in great hands. We’re so lucky to have found her!”

“Deb was wonderful and took a very last minute booking from us. Not only was she able to take our booking but she also accommodated a last minute meet and greet. She was amazing with Libby and we appreciated her flexibility! Will definitely book again! Thanks Deb”

“Super happy! She has a great attention to detail, and my dogs seemed really relaxed around her. Usually I am very anxious about leaving my dogs for others to watch, since sometimes they can be very particular and difficult. I had zero worries with Nathalia and if I wasn’t moving I would totally hire her again!”

“Catherine was so beyond amazing with my cat, Domino! It was my first time on the owner side of Rover and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Catherine was punctual, responsive, and extremely thorough with each visit. Domino loved playing with her! I’ll definitely use Catherine again and I would highly recommend her for anyone who wants the best for their pets 😊”

About: I have two years walking, playing, and taking care of dogs. Years ago I found my love for Corgis, my dog is a pure bread Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Chief. I've been around dogs my whole life and love being around them. Available till Aug 30th. I am currently awaiting to start my new job. I have plenty of flexibility the next two weeks to take care of your furr family! I will keep them entertained and occupied while providing a safe and loving environment. While also keeping them protected and fulfilled, until your return home.
“Nina was amazing with my cat! She made sure to keep me updated with how my cat was doing and was very caring with him. Nina was very kind and I felt relieved knowing my pet was in good hands!”

“Tiffany is absolutely wonderful! She sends so many pictures and does very detailed write ups of each visit. I would highly recommend to anyone in the area to reach out to her.”

“Lin did an amazing job looking after our two cats while we were away for two weeks. She quickly got our super shy cat to come out of hiding and play with toys. We got great daily photos of the cats. We will definitely have Lin cat sit again.”

“Grace is super friendly, arrived early, and my dog absolutely loved her. I really appreciated that her calendar accurately reflected her availability, which made booking so easy. It gives me great peace of mind knowing my dog will be in such good hands while I’m away. Can’t wait to have her back!”

“Natalia was a great drop-in sitter. She was even able to make my very shy cat feel comfortable enough to come out and play while we were away! Thank you, Natalia!”

“Jaiming sent such thorough notes and photos from her visits. It made me feel so much better leaving my older kitty alone for a few days while we travel. I am so grateful for the TLC she showed to our senior kitty and how willing she was to take extra steps to make sure she got the care she needed.”

About: I have dog-sat for different friends and family’s and am comfortable with dogs all sizes as I have had numerous pets over the years! I also have over 4 years of experience babysitting. I am currently in nursing school and work part time at a local hospital. I am a commuter so I have ample time to fit dog walking/sitting into my schedule! I have a spacious backyard and a dog friendly house. I have a small Westie who is 12 years old and very friendly with other dogs!
About: I have been around dogs and other pets my whole life! I grew up with Rottweilers and my family currently has Bernese mountain dogs and boxers so I understand the energy that fuels these big babies. I have experience with cats along with other animals ranging from farm to reptile. I have changed dog diapers, administered medications, and have provided care from puppy to senior. My current life does not allow for a dog and I just have so much puppy love to give! I’m a teacher on summer break who also does not have much of a social life. I am very flexible currently and can fit with your schedule! I’m comfortable with what you are comfortable with! I have administered meds, changed dog diapers, and understand the importance of a watchful eye (my family dog will eat poop if she could).
“Juliette is everything we needed - friendly, responsive, on time, caring to our fur baby, and communicative. She also took some of the best pictures of Chessie we've ever seen! It was fun to see the pics every day. We had peace of mind when we were away and are looking forward to having her cat sit again.”

Lacey is the BEST cat sitter! We are happy repeat clients. Our cats are always so happy when we return and Lacey is very communicative and always on time for visits. Our house always looks perfect when we come back, too! We never have to worry at all when she sits for us. I would very highly recommend her!

Molly was such a great sitter for our 2 cats! She was on time (or early) every day, she spent time giving our cats some much needed attention while we were away and sent us photos of our cat daily. She was also very gracious to take care of a few little extras that we asked her to do. Molly is very responsible, reliable, kind and efficient. We are BEYOND satisfied with her service and would not hesitate to hire her again. She’s the best!

Elena bailed us out many times helping out with Charlee and Rudy! She provided great care, many pictures and somehow figured out exactly what they wanted to spend their time with her, looking for chipmunks and playing ball. Elena was always on time and we never had to worry about making sure the pups had fun. 👍🏾

Leonardo took wonderful care of my two senior cats, including one that requires medication twice a day, while I was gone for the weekend. They were clearly well tended to when I came home. He was very communicative and lovely to work with. I would definitely choose Leonardo again and recommend others to do the same!

This was my first time going away for a week since having my cat, Remy. I was nervous but chose William based on his reviews and many repeat customers. He did not disappoint! By the end of the week he won over my shy cat. I was comforted by his picture updates. He kept Remy fed, her litter box clean and my house clean! When Remy got sick, he cleaned it up. I also noticed he cleaned up the area where Remy eats (she is a messy eater)! Definitely book with William!! Thanks William!!

Grace is super friendly, arrived early, and my dog absolutely loved her. I really appreciated that her calendar accurately reflected her availability, which made booking so easy. It gives me great peace of mind knowing my dog will be in such good hands while I’m away. Can’t wait to have her back!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Braintree. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
